Wow, you did nothing wrong. I think that your message to her was sweet. You are better off without her. Her loss.

Long hair on older women

I love my long hair. I'm not about to cut it because someone says I'm too old for it. I also don't want to look like everyone else with short hair.

Is it wrong for a woman (married to an alcoholic) to have male friends online?
Posted:
1/21/2007 6:26:02 PM
It's not wrong to have male friends. It is wrong to be on a dating site. Life is not easy. I don't think that just because you think he has relationships outside of the marriage that you can do this too. Be honest with yourself. Have pride and integredy. You meant your vows. Right?
Most of us here have had our lives turned around, hense dating at our age.
You have to sh*t or get off the pot. That's it.
Decide to make a positive change in yours and your children's life. They don't need to subjected to the crap that life has to offer. They certainly didn't ask for this. You can make it better for them. They will always have their dad. When he does clean up his own yard, his children will be there for him.
I'm sorry if I said anything if I shouldn't have. I just have very strong values.
good luck

How Important are the NUTRITIONAL habits of a partner?
Posted:
1/14/2007 9:59:29 AM
To me it's important. I eat very healthy. I like the 80/20 rule. Eat as healthy as possible 80% of the diet. Allow for 20% of the diet to be what you deem as unhealthy. I am not going to impose my eating habits on a partner. What I find difficult is when they know nothing of proper nutrition. One fellow drank a huge 2 litre container of orange juice and thought that it was his water and fruit ration for the day. Yipes....LOL! I am staring mouth agape in wonderment. It's hard to NOT say something. So in this case, it drove me crazy!! I can't be with someone who knows nothing of nutritional importance. I would not want to feel like I'm his mommy trying to teach him what he should have learned at an early age. This is what I do, I'm a Natural Health Consultant, so you can see how hard it would be to keep my mouth shut....LOL...

Plenty of fish in the sea
Posted:
12/15/2006 8:09:20 AM
This is my feeble attempt that I do for you and trust me, it is very random and very silly. Here goes my pride
There are plenty of fish in the sea.
There are pretty little fishies. Big ugly fishies.
Ones that bite, and some that will eat you.
But there is only one special fish in that great big sea, that is the fish for you.
And that of course ....is me!
giggles...how am i doing so far?
The pretty little fishies only care about how they look.
But that is not the most important.
The big ugly fishies pretend to be a pretty little fishie.
But then they miss what is important.
The fishies that bite will catch you and nibble on you and hold on to you and not let you go.
The fishies that will eat you up, well they didn't think that you were good enough for them.
Which leaves you with your one special fishie.
So, your one special fishie, she learns about all the other fishies.
Sometimes she is a pretty fishie. And sometimes she feels ugly because she is a big fishie.
This specail fishie will definitly nibble on you and sometimes gently bite.
She will not hold on to you if you don't want her to. But will let you go if need be.
Well this special fishie will definitely eat you up, but only if you are on the menu.
Now you can keep this special little fishie, going one day at a time.
And every day that passes will confirm that you chose the right little fishie.
Or you can pass her by and see if there are any other special little fishies.
Because....
There are plenty of fish in the sea.

Dilemma....Dilemma
Posted:

Seems to me that he is a sorry excuse for being 'Dad' in the first place. Do you really want your children to end up fatherless like his first three? His first three should be the most important beings in his world right now. I feel sorry for them. Children come first. Imagine how his children feel about another baby?
He is giving you an excuse to separate. A pathetic one at that. Let him go. You deserve far better than him.

Why are you afraid to commit and why is it unhealthy for you?
Posted:

I've never had to commit to anyone as of yet. No one has asked me to. I think that commiting to someone is quite frightening.
why?
well prolly cause my husband left me, and commiting to someone else would lead to the same result?
omg....that sounds pathetic....
I don't want to ever be hurt like that agian.

Sure beats any diet pill any day.

Cramps leg, muscle spasams what are they is it a circulation

Taking calcium magnesium with D in a one to one ratio. That is the magnesium is equal to the calcium. Many people have great results by just adding this in. Take it before you go to bed at night. It doesn't always work for 'restless leg syndrome' but is worth a try. Btw, the Tums is made from calcium carbonate, which is chalk

Try D4 from Cellucor. I have heard of many people having great results with this product. There are many ingredients that are very new and innovative. Proper diet and exercise will make just about any product work well of course.

Well if I'm wrong that is a good thing. That would imply that they changed the formula. Soooo I will go and check it out. I don't want to give out misinformation but that was their formula just over a year ago.

I agree with you T. A great example of GNC not having the best quality is......their Coenzyme Q 10 has hydrogenated fats in it!! Well correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Q 10 great for your heart? And isn't hydrogenated fats bad for your heart???????

Did they take the yohimbe out of the San Tight???
If not, well then, yohimbe is definitly not recommended for woman. That could be why it made you feel yukkie. If you do take any products with yohimbe then don't have any cheese or red wine near it.
Worst case senario is anxiety, panic attacks, and hallucinations, high blood pressure and heart rate, headaches, dissiness and skin flushing.
An accquaintence of mine took it....male....and he thought he was having a heart attack.
Hardly seems worth taking it???

I use Oil of Oregano. To me, it seems to be the strongest supplement out there. It was used in a study to destroy the Sars Virus. Which it did!
It tastes nasty, but you should take it at the onset of that tickle that you know you're gonna get sick. Take it if someone else around you is sick. Take it a week before you go on vacation, while your on vacation and at least a week after to make sure you don't get sick. Take it when you feel overly tired or when you feel stressed.
When I think ahead of these times, I can prevent myself from getting sick.
There are pills for the puppies and liquid for the bravehearts!
Someone mentioned Vit C being bad for you, not at all, the most it can do is give you the runs from taking more than your body can handle. You will pee out what you don't need. So for those of you who are constipated, a little extra C would be good for you.

good tasting protein bar

FYI
For all you shoppers at GNC. Look at all the boxes and bars for expiry dates. No one that works in this business is all that good at moving out close dated products before its time is due. GNC cannot sell anything past the date, and if they do, well then, their job is at stake. Sooooo their markdown schedule is as follows.....
3 months away is marked down 25%
2 months away is marked down 50%
1 month away is marked down 75%
or something close to that.
The one month away is definitley 75%....and if you can wait long enough...the day or week before the end of the month...it will be marked down to .99.
So fellow POF'ers, check those dates...and whether or not they taste good.....you can still get a bargain for that price.
hehe

A company called Flora offers two kinds of Hoodia. One is strictly 'Hoodia'. This can be taken 15 minutes before each meal. The other is called 'Hoodia Trim'. This one has thermogenics added, such as green tea and such. The Hoodia Trim is great for morning and lunch time, however, if you have a problem with sleeping, then the Hoodia by itself is probably the better idea. Many people have had great results with this curbing their appetite. I have heard of maybe 2 out of 10 people say 'It did nothing for me'.
I beleive that if you are a 'stress eater' or a 'I'm bored eater' then Hoodia will not work for you. The reason being is that you are not hungry to begin with. Soooooo how can a substance that tricks your mind and body into believing it is not hungry...work?
On the other hand, if you want something to really fill you so that you are truly not hungry, is a product with Glucomanan. This is a plant fiber that expands in your tummy to create a feeling of fullness. So it really does make you full.
There are many thernogenics in health stores that you can try if you want that 'Magic Pill'. That being said, they will only work with proper diet and exercise.
I am a firm believer that you MUST start with a high potency multi vitamin with very high B's. The B's are known mostly for stress, energy and weight loss, and that's just a tip of the iceberg. And.....the next most important is taking your omega 3 fatty acids. Without taking good fat into the body, the body will in NO way let go of the bad fat.
If anyone is still interested in what I'm saying and want to ask more questions, just ask and I will do my best to answer them
