Movies on first dates
Posted: 1/1/2007 8:18:49 PM
I think it's fine as long as it's not the whole date...Of course there needs to be some conversation. I'd prefer to not go to a movie on a first date but sometimes that might get the evening off to a good start.

Why don't men like to dress up for dates?
Posted: 1/1/2007 8:13:10 PM
I like to dress nice sometimes. Now, I am not a suit type of guy. I just get too hot in them but would wear them on special occasions. I am a big fan of cargo khakis and a nice shirt. I am a substitute teacher/baseball coach so I get a good mixture of both dress up and dress down experiences. When I am in class (current college student) I tend to wear whatever I feel comfortable in.

On a first date (which I haven't gone on one in a long time) I would always wear something nice though... After a while I like to dress up sometimes but not all the time...

What is your favorite season in Michigan and why?
Posted: 1/1/2007 8:04:54 PM
Personally, I prefer Spring or the end of Summer. I love the 75 degree days and the 60+ degree nights where once can do just about anything. I love to go out and be active, wear anything that is comfortable, and have some good times.

I don't necessarilly hate winter but I could live without this season. I really can deal with spring, summer, and fall for the most part.

Do You Men Read Our Whole Profiles?
Posted: 11/28/2006 4:03:48 PM
I don't read full profiles unless the person really catches my eye. Now, I'll be honest, I usually see a lady that is nice looking and then look at her profile. A lot of times though I will also look at a picture and if she is doing something fun like showing off a picture of her holloween costume or something then I'll think, hmmm, I wonder if she is fun. I then glance over the profile at her interests.

I also wonder the same thing about women who look at my profile. Now, I put a ton in there because I figure more the better chance someone will know that I'm for real. But often times the lady's who message me essentially don't look through mine. Of course, maybe I have too much!!! Also, a few ladies who emailed me actually are smokers which is personally something I can't accept as far as any sort of relationship. I'm just not interested in that. I can handle most everything else.

Will a non smoker date a smoker ?
Posted: 11/28/2006 3:26:07 PM
I know a lot of non-smoking women who don't care whether a guy smokes or not.

From a male perspective I am probably the only person I know that REALLY cares whether a woman smokes. I can't stand it and yes, I've been around smokers my whole life. I could never date a smoker and for a long time I wouldn't even hang out with people who smoke (mostly when I was in high school, first couple years of college). Now I really don't care that much but I hate the smell so much that I would never date someone who smokes. Also, it would be very difficult for me to actually date someone who smoked for a while and then quit. I have this distaste for kissing someone who once smoked. It may be just my consciousness but I've always felt this way. I used to say that I would date Britney Spears unless I found out she smoked (of course, this was back when she was more of a teen star and everyone my age wanted her).

This is essentially my only pet peeve. But like I said, there are many people who don't really care.

Hey whats up
Posted: 11/2/2006 1:52:05 PM
So I messed up on this already, no big deal. My name is Ryan and I think I'm a pretty cool guy. Check on my profile to get to know more about me. I've been on here for maybe 3 weeks or so, maybe a little longer. Either way, I really don't expect to get much out of this but who know's. I'm in the middle of taking a break with my "semi-gf" (I really don't know what to call the situation) so I'm not really looking for long-term obviously. It takes someone near perfect for me for a long-term type of thing. Anyway, just check out the profile and let me know...take notice that I HATE SMOKING...alright, hopefully I'll talk to someone later...

What exactly are men looking for?????
Posted: 10/31/2006 6:50:16 PM
This is what I'm looking for

I want a lady who is both introverted and extroverted, meaning can have a good time staying in or going out. I like a girl who is flirty with me but also has self-respect. Also, I want a women who is confident but not arrogant.

If a relationship were to develop I would like a woman who is willing to spend a lot of time with me doing things whether it's just watching a movie, having good conversation, going for a walk etc. Also, there MUST be a physical connection. Am I looking for sex per se? I can wait to go that far, but like I said, there must be some physical attraction. Kissing is super important to me, must be a good kisser, and someone who likes to kiss A LOT.

I'm really picky when it comes to the ladies when dealing with a relationship. A friendship I can have with just about anyone.

I can be much more specific but maybe it will be best not too on here.
