Oh and by the way...if you just look at them or favorite them they can tell... that may be a little more challenging to them and you will put it out there that you have interest in them... Some need that as impetus for initiating a "move".... But alas ...women stineed to "play the game" of being chased... even now!! trust me... they have to think they are persuing you....

I never pay any heed to POF matches... they are often so "off base" I am wondering what parameters they base the selection that is right for us! Hell if there was a formula for this, then what are we doing on this g-d forsaken place? Ok... we love to window shop... but cmon... have you seen all the tattoos and mispellings? There should be a law against those things... and cell phones in public and smoking in public... ok...I drifting... But if you happen to see a rocking honey... not even based on those silly "matches" but your own synopsis of what wows you...cmon we are better at that than some computer for what we like! Well if you find "him" (ok..."her" too) then go for it... as they said... "more fish around"!!) Never take internet rejection personally... they don't know you! Now after they meet you...that's a different story!!

This venue can create the "candy store effect" for both sexes.... While many of us hone in on that particular sweet most appealing to us, those who are naturally prone to be fickle in our taste, will overindulge in the assortment of flavors availale. They become proficient in their ability to coerce several individuals into believing that they are "the one" just to make them feel more confident... the more variety, the more attractive they feel...Unfortuately, they are often so good at their game = with their marketable good looks, gift of "speak", and "lines" and many fall prey to their enticements (yup, for some reason I am one of those that attracts that ilk!) So I have become almost resistant to any "over the top" hottie that waxes poetically how special, gorgeous, fun, amazing I am... many before even laying eyes on me! It's often difficult, because we all want to believe that this type of Prince Charming will come for us and really would love to believe that someone could be sincere in thinking initially we are this special (and not be doing it for their own scorecard)... As a result, one can become guarded, protected, and almost resistant to meet new people~!! The sheer dismay of this type of thing reoccuring is daunting! D A R N!!!!!

I have to admit that the best men I have dated have been offbeat looking... that's not stating that they were fugs ... there is so many things other than god given raw good looks that makes a man a "woo woo"! For instance... a man who keeps in pretty good shape, has a sense of style... walks with confidence, exhudes playfulness, comfortable with himself, great hands, great shoes (yup), clean... and it's funny... I often like men with shaved heads! (so there!) I think what is a worse problem is the men that reject women who don't fall into the "babe" category! I believe men are harder on the "looks thing" than women are with men..... Of all the men I have dated on this type of venue... most have related horror stories of meeting women from online... And what is the general consensus? They were too fat!! If you ask a woman the same question... it rarely is a horrific date because of being unattractive or overweight. We are SO LESS SUPERFICIAL!!!! WOO WOO!

Why do you think most men "shave off" some years from their profile... That, my dear is a commentary in itself! Perhaps men haven't realized that an "older woman" could run circles around her younger counterparts...in both interests, confidence, and experience (mmmm).... besides the 'tude.... and sexiness! (hey ... take me for example!)...Goin on 50... woo woo!! and feel hotter than ever!! SO THEREEEEEE!!

I must tell you that I have seen men who love to "collect" women as well! They love to "come on" to the best here and play a game almost to see how many will respond (never intending to follow up on the initial comeon!) So in essence, they are playing rejection games with these women! Please don't make this a one sided issue! And from what I hear... if you are a bit on the heavy side (ok, thank goodness I am not!) you are virtually nonexistant here... if you post a picture showing that. And then if you don't, or just post a face and then actually meet someone - chances are that he is blabbering to his buds the next day about his "bad date" with a fatty! Damn, men... get real!
