ANZAC Day - how important is it to you?

The main thing I've been disappointed in over recent years is the glorification of ANZAC day and how people talk of 'celebrating' the day, as the news reporters often say. As a young nation we do not have many customs or traits that we live by and ANZAC day is one of the few that sets us apart. However it is not a day to celebrate and talk of military achievements but a time to reflect and respect on the many service men and women who have made sacrifices in the past and present to help preserve our way of life. It sickens me to see drunk bogans wrapped in aussie flags at ANZAC cove partying like it's aussie day and although it's great the younger generations have embraced this holiday I hope it's for the right reasons

What's the worst thing you've heard on a first date?

Mmm yeah pretty much what a few other people have said and that's an in depth discussion of their ex. Now I'm not fussed about some one casually dropping their ex into a story that is relative but when every single sentence references a former lover you quickly get the picture that perhaps they have not fully moved on and it's a huge turn off
