i agree with the starter of the thread bye is to final. when people leave you for a while they should say see you later or something just not bye i also hate it when people say its going to be a bad day because when they say that i feel like my day is shot

i would have left my house sooner than i did to avoid alot of conflict with my parents over being pregnant. but other than that i don't like my past but its made me the person i am today

I heard from my husband; they let him call me the other day and i was thrilled. he's about 20 miles outside of Baghdad and he hates it but he'll be fine. he's homesick and we miss him but we've almost made it through our first month. thanks for all the loving support [Replies can be directed to the thread starter via private mail. thanks everybody. the reality of this situation is starting to sit in. we got home today and we started his packing for his mission. tuesday morning we take him to the base but he doesn't leave yet. thanks for the prays and keep em comin.

as you may or may not have noticed i have been gone for a little while and i have missed all of you. we had to get our internet disconnected since my husband is going to iraq and we can't afford to keep it. and it sucks. please continue to write me here on the site. and this is just in case that my life goes to hell in the next couple weeks and don't get to come back here i want to wish every one here what me and kyle have because you all deserve it. i want to thank everyone for helping me with my problems and for being so wonderful. if i ever find myself within a group of wonderful people like most of you then i truly will be blessed. and a final thanks to alura, admin, limo, klo, ex, ticket, shadow, babalonia, dragon, frosty and many more who've been my pals.

As you all know my husband is going to iraq to serve 18 months for our country. last night we went to this party on his base. and one soldier who already went and came back said something that i think everyone should remember and never forget. he said that whether or not you agree with the war, most likely you know someone in the war or know someone who has a relative serving our country. we shouldn't forget that those people leave there homes and families to go over there and defend choices made by our country. this isn't a thread about the rights and wrongs about the war, so please don't make it into one. its a thread to remember all those soldiers who have left there kids and wifes and parents to go over there and protect us, this is also for all those families whose loved one don't make it home. so if anyone has anyone has anything kind of sweet soldier story or anything they wanna share please do it here and remember all those soldiers in your prayers. i know that i've been posting alot about soldiers lately but its having a huge impact on my life. and my families.

yes minutes before my grandmother passed on she called me in to her room and asked me to make a promise to her. and this is what it was. she said : kristen you have a rough life ahead of you but don't pay attention to what people say or what they think. your an amazing kid and i love you so much. i want you to promise me you'll take of yourself and that baby and when he gets old enough let him know who i am because i don't want to be forgotten.

He got the word a few days ago and its official he's going to iraq to serve a tour of duty and leaves in a little over a month. could everyone please pray for him and his safety and the safety of all our troops until they come home. we don't know yet how long he'll be there but hopefully not a long time.

my mother sent this to me this morning and i thought it was so cute. and could be applied to a military mother, sister, father or friend and anyone who loves someone serving our country. Recipe for a military wife 1 1/2 cup patience 1 cup courage 3/4 cup tolerance 1lb. ability dash of adventure Combine about ingredients: Add two tablespoons elbow grease. let stand alone for one year. marinate frequently with salty tears. pour off excess fat. sprinkle ever so lightly with money. "knead" dough until payday. season with international spices. Bake 20 years....or until done. Serve with pride. Dedicated to military spouses everywhere, who have waved goodbye more often than not, who have heated up more dinners than most wifes cook, who have missed more anniversaries, birthdays, christmas and valentines days that they should have and most import of all have welcomed there husbands home GLADLY!! i hope you all enjoy this.

First of all i want to tell you that you must be very strong and you should be proud. leaving someone who you love or have loved is extremely difficult. As for the visitation rights i suggest telling him to meet you at a restaurant or a mall. you can relax, knowing she's okay. or you might suggest that he come over to your house and get a pizza and let him play with your daughter. best of luck to you.

yes i contacted the police and yes there is a warrant out for his arrest but every time he does this stuff he disappears for a while. they said that they were doing everything they can and they set up servillance in front of our house yesterday. the note that he wrote me was contact so that does violate the restraining order. they took the note as evidence because they have all the others. they had to check the handwritting. we have the cops in our areas "trying to catch him" as they say. but i just can't wait to leave california and have some peace. thanks you guys

So this morning i woke up and went out on the porch to get the paper. i found my oldest son's cat with its head cut off, my ex boyfriend left me a note saying "Do you love me now?" i don't know how to tell my son who's 5 that his father killed his cat. and its the same guy who i keep having problems with, he ran my husband off the road, sends me black roses and now kills a cat. what does one do in this kind of situation?

yesterday dawson and i went to the pet store to get dog food, and on the way home there was a car wreck and we had to wait in a huge traffic jam for 45 minutes. while we were sitting there we found out a little old lady pulled out into traffic when the light was red and caused an accident. dawson looked at me and said mommy i hope you don't drive like that when you get old.
