Norton, Norton, Norton-Symanteech---here is a link to the correct uninstaller. Do you know why it takes 1.3 minutes for some of your stuff to run. http://service1.symantec.com/Support/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039 Norton antivirus is a system hog--it's a known fact--google it. Until that is straightened out, use the free stuff.

So what should you use http://free.avg.com/ or http://www.free-av.com/ Seems that antivir is winning this race=faster and less intrusive, but either one is a winner-you need it (one or the other)-install it yesterday. SB S&D and AD-AWARE-They are getting (and considered) outdated, but they serve their purpose. SB S&D-don't install TEATIMER-you really don't need it. AD-AWARE-let it run-not needed but it serves its purpose. SAS=superantispyware=stupid name but another must have http://www.superantispyware.com/ You put these 2 applications on your computer and you will be pretty well set. Add Scruffy http://www.winpatrol.com/ and http://www.sandboxie.com/ And there is nothing happening with out your knowledge. For basic internet stuff that 300$ computer will run as fast as the 4000$ computer.
