HAVE YOU EVER DATED YOUR OWN SIGN?
Posted:
3/21/2008 9:06:33 PM
I'm a Sagittarius and yes I have! We had common likes and great chemistry plus we had the same birthday! :) But, it wasn't meant to be.
I am now with an Aquarius. This person is my one true love!

Long Distance which is driving me insane
Posted:
3/21/2008 8:59:52 PM
I've been involved with someone for 2 years - off and on and we finally made a decision to stay together cuz we just love each other so much. I plan to move to be with her as soon as I can find a job where she's living!
So if you really love this woman and you two have been together for a very long time like I have or more, start packing and moving.

Being just a Hookup does it get to you?
Posted:
3/21/2008 8:52:14 PM
Give him a call and tell him that you want to talk to him in person. Just b/c his friend said "no", he might feel differently - ya never know. If he doesn't want a relationship then you two have to stop the hook-ups and try to be friends (or not).

Are you willing to relocate for LOVE? How far would you go for LOVE?
Posted:
3/20/2008 8:00:11 PM
Yes, I'd relocate. For the last two years, I've been in a long-distance relationship with someone who lives in New Hampshire while I live in New York (state). We've gotten to know each other through chatting on Y! Msg., phone, and in person (twice) and will see each other again this summer. I'd like to move there to be with her, but the problem is finding a job in NH (the kind of job I need). I look on-line or anywhere to find a job there while I am working here. I really want to move to be more closer to her this year, but I doubt it will happen. Maybe next year.
Anyway, I would move... and go wherever she wants to live but as long as I can able to afford to go back home to see my family once in awhile.

Which is WORSE? Not being able to meet someone decent OR deciding between TWO?

I'd like to have a long-term relationship with someone. And I agree with the one above - choose the one you have a good, solid relationship with. Someone who "gets" you.

No need for license or cam. Never give out your home address. If you feel it's ok, then give out your phone number.

I was (sorta still am; we're just friends now) in a long-distance relationship. I would do anything for my gal. And moving is one of them. If you really love her as much you say you do, then you should risk anything to be with her for life despite what friends and family say about the relationship. It's not up to them. It's up to you 2.

I've dated a few years then I found someone to have a long lasting relationship with. This was my first serious, committed relationship. Yes I was scared, but I didn't break it or run away. I stayed. When you really want to be with someone, you don't run... stay forever.

Is it the end of the dating world if you are not good looking?
Posted:
12/16/2006 9:04:33 PM
Here's what I think... we all know insides count more than outside, beauty is skin deep, etc. However, I began to understand long ago that even though "looks do not matter", there must be some sort of physical attraction, or else the date or relationship is not going go anywhere.
For example: I have liked most of the people I dated and one or two I had chemistry with. But I wasn't physically attracted to them. I mean, this one person was really nice looking and all, but I couldn't get with the person. I am also beginning to think it's like chemistry.
PLUS here's another side:
Brad Pitt, Beyonce, etc. are good-looking, but let's say you go on a date with them and you feel nothing (you might be just their friend). It isn't always about looks.

How old is too old to still be living with your parents? Would you date someone that still did?
Posted:
12/16/2006 8:47:35 PM
I am 30 and I live with my mom. My mom & I are dependent on each other; we help each other out. I've been trying to find a job, save up, and move out. Right now, I am getting help to find one. I am positively sure I will have one next year.
Yes I would date someone who still lives with their parent(s) only if they have plans on moving out and I have dated people who didn't mind me living with my mom.

I really think something needs to be done.
LOS ANGELES - Leonardo DiCaprio knows global warming is a problem, and he wants answers.
That's why the actor posted a question on the "Yahoo! Answers" Web site, prompting visitors to share their solutions.
"We can all be environmentalists," DiCaprio, 32, said in a statement to The Associated Press. "Creating communities online that are interested in discussing and embracing smart, simple and serious solutions reminds us we can all take action in our own homes and where we work."
The United States "can set an example for the rest of the world by protecting our cities and protecting ourselves," he said.
The environmental organization Global Green USA invited DiCaprio, who serves on its board of directors, to post the question online.
"It's meant to provoke thought about what people can do in their own lives and what leaders can do to take us in a different course," said Matt Petersen, president and chief executive of Global Green USA. "We're fortunate to have (DiCaprio) on our board because he can help shine the light on the challenge, shine the light on the experts and shine the light on the solutions."
DiCaprio stars in "The Departed" and "Blood Diamond."
Yahoo! Answers is a Web site that allows visitors to post questions or respond to those posed by other site users.

Is cooking a thing of the past for women?
Posted:
12/13/2006 8:58:02 PM
I grew up in a family that loves to cook. As I got into my mid-late 20s, that's when I really started getting into cooking in lieu of cooking very simple things like mac & cheese. Now-a-days, I try to make up a recipe, I look up recipes, try 'em, watch the food net.... I love cooking. I only bake when I am in the mood; just last week, I baked cookies.
