How can he be so sure? A better question would be how can you be so unsure about your own feelings and intentions.
It sounds a bit like you're afraid of actual verbal intimacy and wont fess up to this guy how you feel so he has to press an idea on the extreme side to get you to show something.

Would love some help please!!!

Well obviously I'm a guy but I can offer some input here. With question one the answer is very obvious. Your self esteem with woman is so low because you have a constant fear of what a woman might think about you. The truth is that a woman most of the time will judge you on the way you project yourself. If you throw loads of confidence ( not****ness ) then chances are she will be willing to get to know you.
Answer number 2: Yes, Yes, Yes. In your mind you have this secret office thing going on based on some waves. You need to ask her for a safe get together like coffee or lunch and ask her directly if there are any feelings. Don't make a "I'd be to embarrased" thing about it. Just do it.
Answer 3: There are some basics to female body language but it's far from a science. If she goes out of her way to make conversation with you she is probably interested. If makes a lot of physical contact with you such as a rub on your arm or touching your chest chances are you're in or she's a huge flirt. So just look for her going out of her way to talk to you, and acting different than she would around others.
Answer 4: You asked so I've gotta be honest. You could be seeking a "Young crush" type relationship simply because younger woman often are easy to influence, and many men are intimidated by woman their own age.
Believe me there are many woman your age that would would love to find a guy that will respect her and treat her right and in return treat you like a king but not to be mistaken with letting a man control or disrespect her.
Anyway that's my two cents. Good luck bro.

Should I expect a thank you after paying for the meal, etc.?
Posted:
5/12/2009 8:09:46 PM
Why would you expect a thank you? My grandmother always told me "Do because you want to do, not because you expect recognition". It's always been my way to pay for a date. Sometimes there's a thank you, and others there's not. Most of the time just the girl being there with me is thank you enough.

does the first meet count as the first date?

I'd say it definately counts as a date. I work alot, and when I get off of work, I goto work ( tattoo artist ). So when I get the time to meet somebody first of all I'm gonna make sure I'm enjoying myself, and I definately consider it a date.

Ask a girl out?
Posted:
2/16/2009 7:51:04 PM
Sounds simple enough. I've heard rejection is pretty tough, but I can't see why. It's just life. I really don't know why I'm nervous. I'm typically outgoing, but when I get around her I'm a bumbling idiot, but she still seems to enjoy my company.
Thanks for the advice man.

Ask a girl out?
Posted:
2/16/2009 7:01:12 PM
Alright, I was in a commited relationship for thirteen years since I was 15, and now I'm 29, and ended my previous relationship last year.
So basically I never learned how to ask a girl out or how to tell if she likes you. So anyway there's a girl at the coffee shop that I really like and I think she's interested in me. She smiles alot when she talks to me, and I catch her looking at me when she thinks I'm not looking and then she looks away real fast. Also my friend from work said that when he saw us talking that it's very obvious that she's interested. So how do you know if a girl is interested or just really polite? Also how or what do I say? I'm 29 and I've litterally asked one girl out in my life, and it turned out she already had a boyfriend. I'm pretty nervous. Any help would be great.

Married woman, partying without her husband
Posted:
8/18/2007 12:39:41 PM
She is getting her ya ya's out...as long as she goes home to her husband..who cares?
I hear this time after time "As long as she comes home to me (this is the husband talking) that's all that matters"
I knew a guy like this, he was like, "I find it better just to stay home, b,ecause I would often get into fights when guys would try to feel up or touch my wife on the dance floor"
So he's saying, "As long as I stay home, I don't SEE it, and as long as she comes home to me, that' sall that matters"
About a year later, she divorced his ass, LOL
This is usually a sign of a failing marriage actually. You watch, give it a couple of years.
Oh yeah, and also, of course she has to come home, she has no where else to go! lol Of course she could just bang some guy for a couple of hours, put her clothes back on, and head home too.
Or coming home would be also the way to keep things discrete.
You don't know how right you are. This guy needs to step up and go out with his wife. Don't ask how I know this, but I know it all to well.

Appearing shy infront of Women
Posted:
8/18/2007 12:26:54 PM
I use to have the same problem. It was all in my self image. I was to caught up in wondering what people thought of me. Though I'm married, and don't need to approach but one woman I'm confident in myself now days because I've changed the way I view myself.
My point is that you must believe 100% that it doesn't matter what somebody thinks of you, and if they think badly of you before they give you a chance than it's thier loss not your rejection. Being rejected isn't as bad as it seems. Just remember no matter what you're not going to be rejected 100% of the time. Approach 10 woman and 1 is bound to give you a shot. Just consider the other 9 the unlucky ones bro.

Soulmates? Do they / can they exist??
Posted:
8/18/2007 11:36:19 AM
Souldmate? That's a funny question. After 11 years with the same woman we just had our 3rd major seperation in almost 12 years. When she left I did everything I could to act tough like I didn't love her, but no matter how I acted on the outside I knew that I couldn't let her go. I couldn't make myself feel whole when I knew I was pushing away my better half.
So yeah, I think soulmates do exist. You'll know the moment it happens.

When my ex-wife was pregnant the doctor looked at me, and said "Make sure you don't blow air into her vagina.". Why in the f*ck would I do that? If I wanted a balloon I would have married a clow.
Sorry this was off topic I guess. I'll go back to my burrow now....

Really though I think that is really lame that somebody would base thier dating on a name. Maybe that's why I can't get a woman. My name is Dustin. I would just avoid that type of person though. If somebody doesn't like my name they can chew my sack.

Are drugs, and alcohol attractive now days?
Posted:
2/8/2006 11:02:01 AM
Ok shifuku, you didn't exactly say what she claimed that you said. The problem is that you keep posting texts from pro weed groups.
Really, do you think I was never a pot head? I used to use the same arguements. I'm in no way saying that you, or anybody else shouldn't ingest weed. Please read the original post before you start posting all of this.
Now as for your "Sources", they are all copied from pro weed groups. As for your statement about weed never causing fatalities to this date. You are DEAD WRONG! It has been the direct cause of thousands of fatal car accidents, and others, but I could care less about those idiots. My concern is the effect that it has on the male sperm. It is a fact that thc splits a cromazone in the male sperm causing birth defects such as seal hands, club feet, and most commonly the cleft lip, and pallet, and not to mention still birth.
So as for my sources I guess I'll post a very simple, and to the point drug fact directly from the DEA.
THC in cannabis, or naturally extracted THC, is classified as Schedule I by the DEA, implying that it is dangerous and has no accepted medical use, not withstanding its known pharmaceutical applications.
Like I said though this is all completely off topic. Wether narcotics are right, or wrong would be in the politics forum. This is just simply a thread about advertising narcotic use to attract a mate. Of course we already got your answer on it. As you said drugs, and alcohol are SEXXYYYY. I used to know a really hot woman that got wasted all the time. When I was an emt I would get at least one call a week for her. She mostly ended up getting her stomach pumped. One day we got a call on a head on collision. A VW Bug had run under semi head on. I was somewhat releaved when we arrived on the scene. The truck driver had no injuries. The woman in the car however was DOA. Her entire body was so mangled that the fire team had to remover her body in sections. Let me tell you. That was SEXXXYYYY.

I think associating people that do drugs with the words: loser, deadbeat and druggie
is really uneducated, ignorant and generalizing.
Are you fcking joking? And,
It's not for everyone, but it's seriously enriched my life.
????????
Those had me laughing my @ss off for a minute, but it's actually sad that so many people like to claim that drug use is theraputic, or even enriching. Really you think alcohol, and weed help your body? Do some chemical research on them. As far as alcohol goes try a little experiment. Realizing your brain is composed of fatty tissues take a lump of lard(crisco, ect...), and pour some rubbing alcohol on it. You will find it has the same effect that alcohol has on your brain over time.
I hear so many people as well claim that weed has no permanant effects. That was in the 70's,and 80's people! Not to mention that was all said because the chemists researching weed were all high off thier @ss's, and trying to get the government to leagalize it. Now since at least the year 2000 we've know for a FACT that it does permanantly effect the male reproductive organs, causes at least 6 split gene birth defects, stores itself for many years in fat cells, and causes permanant effects on the brain. But go figure. People still claim that it's the safest drug there is.
If you really want to get high do some research on the human brain. It has the capability to produce the right chemical release to induce the same effects as almost any narcotic produced to date. Just remember that when you replace a chemical function in your brain with an artificial alternative your brain soon loses the ability to reproduce that certain chemical. Your brain can even stop producing endorphins.
Anyway what ever. This thread might have been a mistake. It's almost like argueing religion.
Peace

Presence and intimidation

Myself...... I find I am very intimidated by muscles,,,such as when a guy has biggier tits than I!!!(which does not take much)
That's funny you should say that. I have a 45" chest. I dated this chick in college that wore like a 36 c or something like that. Anyway one day she dared me to try her bra on because she said my pecs were bigger than her tits. So when I did I flexed my chest, and busted the bra. She made me buy her a new $40 bra!
Hell, my boxers cost $3.99 at Wal - Mart! Why do you ladies pay so much for stuff like that?

C7, you're a cool guy. Just broaden your range in the community.
By the way S Davina. I've read your profile, seen your pictures, and read alot of your posts. You've got a hell of a head on your shoulders. Get to know eachother, and what not I'd marry a girl like you in a heartbeat. Beauty, and brains is often hard to find these days.

Ok, maybe my statement seemed like a useless attack, but it's not my fault you pasted a poorly written quote. It's written in a horrible excuse for the english language. Second, if you believe that there is a science to finding a mate wether man or woman then you are bound to be alone for a long time.
Really, think about this. You, and your wife(future) lay in bed ready to wrap up your 10th wedding anniversary with a little love in bed when you ask her "What attracted you to me 10 years ago?". To your suprise her response is "I wasn't really attracted to you. I was just desperate, and tried a scientific method to bag you. You're a type 3 by the way...".
You can't tell me this is what you want, or the way a woman is going to want to find her partner. In my younger days(I'm 26) I thought us men were the smarter sex, but day by day I see dumb crap like that post that proves woman will always be smarter than us. That I don't have a problem with though.

It's not like I've never experimented, but I can't see the point of basing a relationship on drugs, and alcohol.

This topic really bothers me. I see so many profiles on here with woman that say "I love getting high with guys", or "I drink 24/7".
WTF? Is a lack of self control, or being a raging alcoholic attractive now days? I'm only 26, but I feel like the old guy telling the kids "Just say no to drugs". Hell if you are going to do that sh1t, why try to attract a mate with a line like that? Even in my "younger days" when I was into drugs, and alcohol I kept that stuff to myself. People didn't advertise thier drug, alcohol habits back then.
I guess I might be behind in times, but it seems to me to be the biggest cry for acceptance I've ever seen from a generation.
Anyway let's here some views on this topic. This should be interesting.

C7t1, I would have to say that you should just keep hitting the forums. Eventually a woman will be interested in what you have to say on a topic, and message you about it.
Hell buddy, I've had 3 proposals for marrage from these forums. Almost took one up on her offer. She was hot(out of my league hot), but was just impressed with my views on a few topics. Come to think about it I'm going to beat myself with a dead cat for not doing it...
Anyway C7t1, just keep on posting in the community, and somebody will click with you. Good luck bud!

Don't people bathe to rid themselves of natural odors? During sex there's nothing better than the smell of... well you know, but to walk around daily with it on you would be rediculus.

Personally I don't believe in space in a relationship, but people all look for different types of relationships. I personally seek a relationship where myself, and my match are like one in the relationship. So if a woman that I'm with says she needs more space I wouldn't take her back, and I'd welcome her to make as much space as possible.

Shaggy man, I could not care less how many g's are in your name. As for the word sometimes. Once again I couldn't care less. The point is that it is typical for guys your age to find some way to push in some sort of negative influence to find attention. Really man, if you are so mature try a positive approach that does not include putting down an entire generation.

somebody who doesn't drink .. a turn off?

I haven't had a drink in 5 years. I stopped drinking the day after my 21st birthday. If a woman can't handle that, I don't need her. I wouldn't date a woman that drinks either. Not because they are bad, or I'm better than them, but I've just been free for so long why risk the temptation. Right?
Just remember. For all the woman who might find it to be a turn off, there's bound to be one or more that find it to be a turn on. It's a respectable trait.

I agree with sterling completely. As a player you have a mindset that if you can't get a woman that fits a physical steriotype, then you can't get a girl. Try to make some friends with some girls that you wouldn't have dated as a player. You'll see that they have just as much to offer as the others.

Are you joking? You really don't know the amount of people killed by Saddam? Over 2.4 million people have been killed either by his hands, or at his command. Get real, and open your eyes people. Don't you think Adolf Hitler started somewhere? Once he saw there was a bigger goal he went for the WORLD! We did what we did to stop Saddam from becoming the next Adolph Hittler.
As for Bush being an "oilman" who gives a sh1t. If he is accomplishing our nations goals of turning a country from a threat of the next world war into an allie, and making the country some money, and oil in the process then HOORRRRAAAYYYYY BUSH!
Some of you people only see what you want to see. Your parents tell you war is bad because they were hippies in the 60's so you grow up and believe that crap. Hey, my mom was a hippie too.

Just shave it off man. Granted there are alot of woman that prefer a man with hair, but there's ALOT of woman that like bald guys as well. I BIC my head once a week. I'm not going bald, but it just feels good, and most people think it looks good on me as well.
Anyway the point is: if thinning hair bothers your confidence then counter act nature with a cool haircut!

what does spark mean to you?

I've been in a situation like this before. The answer was simply this: I was infatuated with her(she was WAY out of my league physically), and could not see I was in the relationship for the long run, and she just liked the sex. When you are infatuated with a person you only see your own feelings. It hurts, and it's sad, but it's obvious what you should do. If there's no spark on one side there's no point staying.

hell, you could ask shaggy man the same thing. who are you to say younger men are not mature enough to be a "real man"? here is the scenario that I get. You read her post, then read her profile, like what you see, think to yourself "i bet with the right load of crap i can convice her i'm a real man", then you see the age limit for messaging her, then decide to put down younger men. put down the crack pipe.

solution to our war...

I didn't say bin laden was in iraq. saddam by all right can be considered a terrorist. mass genacide would be considered an act of terrorism. no? as for the reason we are there, there are many reasons. First of all we went there to rid iraq of weapons of mass destruction. many people said we found nothing, but that's not true. we found mass quantities of very deadly chemicals ready to combine with a weapon(missile, bomb, ect...), as well we also found the weapons capable of carrying these chemicals. Now the reason we've stayed is a little more complicated, but in my opinion the right decision. It's obvious that we've liberated iraq. after all the work, and money put into the war why would we leave it in such poor condition only to have the problem re-accure in the future. a country full of aggrivation, and fear breeds bad people such as saddam.
so i dont believe my post was in anyway a misconception.

solution to our war...

The war will continue until the next election, like the one in Vietnam did. Only when an election hangs in the balanace will withdrawal become expedient. More people will die for nothing.
Are you joking? They are not dying for nothing. They are dying for each other. They are dying to prevent another mad hatter like saddam from taking power, and being capable of causing genacide. We are fighting for those who couldn't fight for themselves.
People that think this war was a mistake should look at the bigger picture. How long would it have been before Saddam killed millions of more people? How long would it be before Bin Laden attacks America again. Sh1t, come to think about it. How long until we Americans are speaking arabic after we show the world that we're too weak to defend ourselves from terrorism, and eventually invasion?
I think not. Bush has shown the world not only that we will not be bullied by terrorist acts, but also that we WILL follow through with our missions. Granted alot of people are dying in Iraq, but don't you think the marines that go over their know there is that possibility when they enlist? My brother fought in Iraq for more than a year. He says he would be more than willing to do it again if required. It's part of being a marine. These guys that are dying( thank god for them) were not drafted. Remeber that.

To each his/her own. Some sex is just sex. It doesn't have to mean anything other than mutual pleasuring.
This is true. To each thier own, but the funny thing is that I was a professional bull rider in the PBR, and PRCA fr 8 years. People constantly said I was stupid, and wreckless for persuing a profession that is so dangerous. The way I see it sex with random partners is just as, if not more dangerous than bull riding. Not to mention we all know that bull riding is dangerous. Take a poll, and ask how many people know how dangerous random partner sex is.
So yeah you're right, but I am more than happy to stay celibate until I find the right one.

I agree with you completely. There is also the disease factor. What ever happend to manogamy? Most people now days think it's a tree. Sex is something that should be experienced after truely getting to know somebody. Not as a casual activity. Though sex can be extremely fun, it can also be even more dangerous. I'm proud to say that I have no problem being celibit until I find a wife.
So anyway I'm glad there are some people with similar values. Peace

Alright, the "uncle tom" thing was a dumb thing to say, and I apologize for that. What I was trying to get across is that in many of your post you seem to say "you are kind of right, but this is better blah, blah, blah...". Once in a while you should give credit to people for thier insight.
Actually that day I was just having a really sh1tty day influenced mostly by surrounding negativity.
As for the republican with really biiiiigg connections comment. That's cool. I would have to say the same about myself. I really don't like being called "bucko", but I deserved it
.
So anyways peace man. We all have our bad day, and that was mine.

DarkPrince, do you ever stop being negative toward other people, or do you just think playing the uncle tom role is going to help you score with woman. Get a life man. Your profile is no better than his. At least he is creative. Yours just sounds like you said what you think the ladies want to hear. Stop being like that.
