well perhaps you should be more selective about who you message?

dont message them unless you fit their criteria?

noisy eaters and people with bad table manners
Posted: 1/31/2012 2:53:39 PM
obviously there is a distinction between those who have a disability and have difficulty with eating and those who don't have a disability and just lack any social graces or table manners.

Im guessing the OP was referring to the latter, would do no harm to bring some education into schools on etiquette and basic manners

bambi - pretty disgusting too much detail there!!!

I can understand that woman being offended, witnessing that would make me sick, no call for it sounds like you enjoy your lack of table manners a little too much.

oink oink indeed.

ahhhh omg this is one of my top hates!!!

I can't stand it when people don't hold cutlery properly and don't display any table manners.

I hate seeing them shovel up their food like pigs at a trough!!

What's wrong with people it doesn't take a genius to hold a knife and fork correctly?

If I'm dating someone and I see they don't know how to hold them I do tell them, I mean at end of the day I'm just doing them a favour educating them, its things like this that mark out a good upbringing.

Dating someone with depression..
Posted: 1/15/2012 3:35:59 AM
AngelCakes... do you know what you described is abuse? You know there is help and maybe you should think of going to speak to someone? What you described in your post is physical and mental abuse. It's domestic violence.

There is help and options out there.

I'm not a touchy feely weepy emotional person but I can see from what you posted that you need to get some help.

Your life is your choice but you can choose something different why not start by calling the Domestic Violence helpline?

Now really ladies, you're all just saying what you think is the 'right' thing to say and what is pc to say on the forums!! You're all old enough to have been born when men paying for women was the standard so you can't really be that radical! dont tell me way back in your teenage years you were banging on about how much you wanted to pay for yourself??

I don't really think its about age, sure look at Helen Mirren! total wow wow, is it not more about your own lack of self confidence maybe you've lost your way a bit?

Sometimes the simple things like a fresher hair cut or a little tweak here or there can be all it needs to get you back to that feeling good mood and sure isnt a nice pleasant smily happy face more noticeable than a sour puss?

fellas just admitt it your all tight arses and some women are silly enough to bang on about equality and bingo that gives you a grand old excuse!!!

many of these women who insist on paying and are so derogatory of women who dont pay perhaps have their own issues like not being confident enough in themselves to know that a man would happily pay for them so by being so dominating and determined to pay they off set taking the risk of letting the man take the lead..... ooo girls let go you dont have to be in control ALL the time.... you are worth it you know!

How materialistic are you?
Posted: 10/22/2011 12:47:40 AM
Hey Shortstuff you didn't say what brand it was!!! You can't just drop something as mega exciting as that without the brand - please details.

As for your question... it's the seeing it in the magazines, the descriptions, the waiting list, seeing pictures of it with the celebs... knowing how beautiful it is and really wanting it, working hard so hard and making little sacrifices to get it, tracking it down, ordering it, the experience of going for it, paying.. defo good bit paying and getting it in nice shopping bag, it coming home with you and that first opening of the box when its all new and crisp and the packaging is breaking open and there is the little beaut in all its glory with its tags on it and knowing you will hold off to the very last moment to cut those tags off, smelling it the beautiful smell of something new and the leather... keeping it safe in the house going and looking at it, planning on the day you will take it out and how you will wear it and what you will put it with and knowing how good you are going to feel with this baby on your arm.... ahhh heaven.... pure heaven....

I meant generally in life and on line too....

there just seems to be an abundance of people who seem to have very low levels of resillience to the challenges of life & lack the coping mechanisms to deal with them... it just seems soooo insecure and its really unattractive...

I admire those characters in life who can have a good laugh at themselves and take a crap situation and make the best of it... with an upbeat attitude and that lovely strength of character that can roll with the punches... now that is very very attractive

I can't help but noticing in life and on here just how mega peoples egos have became yet they have teeny little fragile sensitive emotions that can't bear any level of rejection or criticism!

What is wrong why are there so many needy fragile people?

We all get knocked back and fail occasionally or maybe have something we don't really like about ourselves but frig thats life so what, deal with or laugh it off!

Don't be sitting crying or whinging just because everyone isnt giving you admiration 24/7

I actually enjoy the crack of when someone is having a go at you and just going with it having a bit of a laugh about it.

Is it just me or do you find this to?

Help on communtication
Posted: 10/10/2011 11:58:26 PM
Its because usually there a few different men messaging on the Instant Chat

Soo the easiest thing to do is accept the chat - then check out their profile and if you dont like then decline the chat.

So I guess thats whats happening you that why they accept initially and then decline - they checked your profile and dont fancy you.
