Well I guess the only car I remember naming is my current one the" lil green machine" which is a 1984 bombardier iltis unless you count when they decide to become unco-operative then they always get great names lol. great thread btw

Any men over 35 seriously looking to get married?
Posted:

I am a never married no kids 36 year old who is definatly looking to be married in the future. The trouble with making that happen is I have not yet found the one woman who makes me want to do that with her. To get to the alter with me is going to take a pretty long time as I wont just jump into it a week into a relationship. I will work towards committing to the whole idea a bit at a time with marriage being a ways down the road. I plan to take full advantage of the fact that today you can commit in every other way first, ie get the house car kids etc before walking down the aisle. I just want to be really sure the first time I marry will be the only time. hope this helps.

Bah only going a year is for wussies. how bout being single for many years, dont get any then either. I served in the military and you know what.. it was there if I wanted it I just tend to be picky and *gasp* went without. Yes ladies there are men out here who can keep it to themselves for as long as it takes to get back to or find the one there looking for. I wish people would stop stereotyping others and live there own lives sheesh! Thanks for letting me rant.

What are your tattoos and the meaning behind them?
Posted:

I have a 17hr blackwork dragon that covers my left chest, shoulder upper arm and part of my back that represents a protector. I have a custom piece within that on on my left arm that is a depiction of my life up to that point. I also have a wiszard on my upper right arm that represents the power over myself and I have a faded pegasus on my right chest that will be reworked but it reprents freedom. I want more but its a matter of finding the right artist at the right time to get them.

personally if they dont like what i drive (an 84 bombardier iltis) then they are not the type of person I want to talk to. better off without her around.

Buy a used car? lease or buy new?
Posted:

My opinion on this one is buy whats best for you. used you get potential maintence/parts costs and possible reliability issues with new you get an almost 100% guarentee it will work but monthly car payments and higher insurance. If you check my profile I obviously drive something unique and definantly used being 23 years old lol. bottom line buy what suits you and enjoy the ride

All I can say dont hold back support of the military because you dont agree with where politics has sent them. They are doing their job as it they have been told to do it.

Jarheads and people's first impression...

Well I am an ex military man and am pround of the 4.5 years I served in uniform both reserve and regular forces. I dont even list the fact I was in in my profile as it is now a part of the past that made me who I am today. My humble opinion is we should all be judged on who we are now and what we do now. Respect is something earned by your actions and if all your actions are good then that is the impression people will have of you regardless of past occupations. support the troops as they support you.

yep when you have lost the people most important in your is is forever changed lost my dad 19 years ago jan 16th when I was 16 left my mother to her crazyness 6 months later been pretty much alone since then. time heals everything.....what a bunch of hooey nothing fixes losing people you love after that you just deal with whatever life brings you next. I am finally starting to go back towards the "normal" but I will never be completely there ever again lost too much too soon. I guess you would just have to call me functionally damaged. most of the time either my odd sense of humor or just plain stubborness gets me through the down times. at least I am actually looking...kinda sorta.... I'm here on this site which is more then I've ever done before so maybe things will take an upswing for me. Oh and I get to post this while working overnights all week be glad your not me.

what is everyones opin on tattoos?
Posted:
12/24/2006 6:49:32 PM
I really like tattoos, have over 25 hrs worth of work myself. I especially love ink on women as it adds a personal touch to an already great package. All you would need to tell me is that you have one/some and if we are in that kind of relationship let me go search for the hidden treasure(s) *wink*wink*
