How do you stay motivated

Well i am getting back into the gym thing again took a break (much longer then i planned on) trying a new gym and a new trainer pretty pumped about it . I am hoping that the change will help me stay motivated. The lack of energy i have had lately has been a huge motivator for getting back into it all.

I have found another motivator Anger and frustration.
when i am pissed about something or frustrated or stressed from work going spending a hour at the gym makes me feel great after.

Motivated for which one,... going to the gym or losing weight?

It is for going to the gym. between the weights, cardio, core , and my eating plan it gets pretty overwhelming.

On another note i have had a few injuries at the gym strained muscles, pulled muscles, bruises, most of them i have been kinda proud of ( i dont know if proud is the right word ) but now i have a fat lip which is pretty stupid i got hit in the face with a ball at the gym i missed it when it was thrown at me.

well I do get a lot of support from my family which helps a great deal
I have been rereading the book that really got me started on this journy and that's helping to .i am also looking at new ways to deal with the changes I am going through. also I found that going through my clothes and getting rid of the things that don't fit anymore because they are huge on me is pretty big motivation to.
I know this is just a bump in the long road I am on right now but i will get past it.

I think the worst thing is that this is the first slump i have been in and i got my gym membership a year ago and this is my 50th week seeing a personal trainer, i have the same trainer i started out with but am at a different gym. Even when i had surgery the only thing i was upset at was the fact that i was limited in what i could do. I am thinking about going and buyng an outfit that i want to fit into and having that displayed in my room so i can see it everyday , give myself a visual goal.

P.S. I just wanted to thank you all for your advice and hints

i think my biggest problem is just working up the energy to go, I dont think energy is the right word here. maybe it is becoming to routine for me i will talk to my pt about that.

How do you stay motivated

In the past year and a half i have been trying to lose weight I have done pretty good 85lbs so far , but lately i have been having troubles staying motivated. I love going to the gym, i love the way i feel after i have gone, the energy i have, my trainer helps some but he can only do so much. I seem to be in a slump at the moment, and i am not sure what to do to get out of it. If anyone has a hints or ideas please let me know.

i have just finished reading the posts in here and find some people need to maybe talk to a few larger (fat) people before they make judgements i am a big girl and i am also very confident and no i dont spend all day eating candy watching tv i walk my dog 2 to 3 times a day depending on my work schedule i also work 90-120 hours every 2 weeks i dont over eat and do i want to be this way dont no have not thought about that you seem to think we treat it as a game well some might but not all of us do and it is the same with fit active people there are the ones who are snobs and rude to people who are not in the same shape as themselves but they are not all like that my brother in law was a profesional bodybuilder so i do no about what it takes to get there and why some choose to do that and just because i am over weight does not mean that i dont eat healthy i might not all the time but i eat mostly raw food i grew up around the health food industry so i no what is good food and what is bad i dont eat alot of bad foods but i am still a large girl i am finding that people are taking to much time to see what is on the outside that they forget about what is on the inside is important to.but that is just what i think
