That has definitely happened to me. Twice. Long time communication, no problems, everyday occurrences and checking to see how each other was doing. Got sort of close, was ready to take it to the next level and BOOM... gone.. delete account.. .no explanation email .. nothing! Second time though at least we had gotten each other's phone number and other private email addresses. Just the thing of not being fore warned though. And he didn't contact me in advance to say he was closing his account. Left phone messages and emails to his private email with no replies. Then FINALLY! I just wished that they would have the courtesy to let you know or at least say good bye! Hah..but who are we? Are we anything special to them to where they feel obligated to let us know or say Adios Baby!

Ahhh!!!! Why did this Cherub Butt of mine have to be soooo darn sick this Valentine's Day when I got a whole bunch of Cupid's Arrows to shoot off from my bow!!! IT TAKES TWO and that is how it has always been and even before women were out there with $$$$ in their pockets and able to actually spend their own monies that they are now earning due to all the equality that was wanted and won... they were in the kitchens all over america and doing all they could to entice their men and make those little honey I love you dinners, taking them long luxurious baths to get ready to be so presentable to their spouses and prepare all his favorite foods.... and they did make them those gifts or did those special things..... so...... Now that you are an independent bring home the bacon woman... doesn't mean that you are to just forget that you are still obligated to do as much as the man has done if not more sometimes!! Get off that high and mighty horse and ride that stallion the right way BABY!!! Continue to share with him just how much he means to you... and men.. don't forget to treat that queen of yours properly.

Being kind of new to POF and events... I was really surprised at how much fun we had. It was a GREAT time. Hope to see everyone again soon... at the next one!! Marilyn! I am so thankful that you had a great time and you were comfortable with all of us. Chk1time, I was so pleased with having you there with me last night! You really are so photogenic and I appreciated you being there supporting me in this endeavor. Looking forward to working with you on some upcoming projects in comedy and music! This is going to be the After Party Pics for this event. I want to personally thank all of you for your attendance and participation in making this such an Awesome, Rememberable Time. So many new faces and those totally loveable Regulars that have made me smile and giggle so many times. All of you never cease to amaze me... ALL of you are what this is worth doing for!! IF any of you fellow POFers' have pics that you would like to post here along with the ones I took .. .Please let me know!! I welcome them and will give you permission to post them all!! Just email me and let me know! The venue was absolutely wonderfully surprised and delighted to have us all there and welcome us back with open arms. The band .. Wow, was so HOT!!! I have the pics to prove how much fun all of you had listening and dancing to them!! This place will be one that will book another event at. Again, feel free to post your thoughts on the party here. WoooHoooo!!! Just looked and more signed up and still more people emailing me saying they are coming. Shhhhhut the Baaaack DoooR!!! I am sooo glad that this is going to turn out nice for everyone. This is why all of us host/hostesses do these events. For you!! Ok, yes, I love doing them but hey....wouldn't be anything without YOU!! It is such a great feeling to know that we come together like this and we meet so many new and old POF members and form such a bond. And... IF we get lucky enough... some of us... ( not me YET!).. find that one true love that is going to last a lifetime. ( will never stop believing that mine is somewhere there and will be revealed by the heavens above).....So... COME ON PEOPLE... LETS PARTY TONIGHT!! I will be there somewhere with Balloons near Whiskey Joes' at the beach for any people that want to show up early. I would say be there by 6pm or so.... Make sure to bring your jackets!! and a blanket IF you plan on sitting out somewhere by the beach...under the stars with that special someone that YOU many just meet tonight.

34 men and 57 women are showing up and that is just the ones that signed up online that are not hiding their profiles.. I have also gotten lots more emails from people stating they are just going to show up!! This is going to be a great night!! Who are you rooting for ???? Cardinals or Steelers? Are you showing up early??? I did notice that there is paid parking at Ben T Davis Beach. I will go there in morning to check out what the price is on the meters... I am going to set up under one of the shelters and make sure that all of you will know that it is me!! I am sure there will be lots of ladies that will end up joining me. And.. you men might as well come out and have fun too!! Have you men at least saved a dance for me???? ???? I am ready to cut loose.. foot loose... put on your dancin shoes!! Oooweee... Louise!! Love ya all!! Make sure to bring your beach blanket and a jacket for the weather.. I even have my big umbrella!!!

Hey LATINA !!! Well, tell you what I am going to do.. I will get some balloons and a big sign that says POF!!! I will have the name tags.. and Yes, I am going to ask all the POF people that have screen names to put that on the name tag and if you have room then you can put your real name also. I am going to get there early and hang out at the beach on my beach blanket... you will see my silver sport chevy with the sun roof ...and the door will probably be open and music blaring from it at the beach. A POF sign will be inside the front window or back window. or both??? balloons attached to it. If you see that.. Surely you can't miss me!!! Anyone else want to announce that they are coming early and parking their car along side mine and hanging balloons n it??? LOL.. Looking forward to seeing all of you. Latina.. I have been under the weather quite a bit lately but I do travel between Riverview, Tampa, Brandon,Clearwater, St Pete,Largo, and up into Pasco and Polk counties. I have been commuting here lately from Brandon to Clearwater if I don't stay over in Largo/Seminole area. Good thing about not having anything to tie you down. Can come and go as I please these days!! But then again.. I have been trying to get tied up.... even got the dang Lasso but... geesh.. no takers!!!

We will definitely have to put this one on the books as being the smallest POF parties but at the same time the most enjoyable one where everyone was certainly mingling together and having one heck of a blast! I will be going to my 'home' computer tomorrow and can't wait to post the proof of such a great time! JoAnn, I sure am going to miss seeing you here in Florida when you go to SouthCarolina... Everyone is running to the Whiskey Joes's POF party!! Yippee!!! 31 Women to 19 Men!!! What can i say???? Oh, well... nope... I am not that way but I may not get a chance to get even one kiss from a man that night due to the ratio of women to men! !! I have no problem though. we will all have so much fun and we know how it goes. Lots of people don't sign up and show up and others bring more friends. It will even out. Mo, My dear Mo.... ME??? Greedy??? Not I.. ... I seem to not even be able to handle one.. let alone more than that! I need to focus only on 1 man....and I have taken my 'blinders' off just in case that 1 man is out there for me. Like you Mo, I am one that can only focus on one love... and hopefully that will last a lifetime. Not a player at all... sincere as ever. I think that biggest problem that I have is that I am such a people person and sometimes hosting these events I tend to not focus on me and my desires but make sure everyone else gets 'theirs'... Uggh. And, seriously I am shy!! Ok. looks like our dear friend is evening all things out.. .She has two lady friends that she is bringing along.. so.. it is even stevens as of now!!

That is right Lennie, I am so glad that you and I talked tonight about this and that reminded me that there may be a lot of Tampa Bay area residents that frequented the 'old' Whiskey Joes that was damaged by the hurricanes...and now since that old location is now under new development that they are located right off of Courtney Campbell Causeway.. you can see em while you are driving on the road. No turning and going down that road and making a left into the parking lot anymore. It is right there sharing the sands of Ben T Davis Beach!! Wow, I just thought of something. I can go have a cookout before the party!! Cool! They got grills I do believe right there and even picnic tables!!! I can open the car doors and get the tunes bouncing and relax all day long... ( be a beach bum for a day...as long as the weather isn't too bad) and have a calgon take me a way day!! Oh, and if any of you POF members are up north somewhere and not down here to join us.. I will be kicking some of the sand with my bare feet up for you!!

Location is on the right side of road past St Rd 54, past Carson Dr and before Morgan Road. total of about 3/10th of a mile. One thing that I have always remembered about the USPS mailing system and us US citizens driving on the 'Right' side of the road. Even numbered addresses are on the right and of course.. Odd numbers on the left. Ok any postman want to verify/clarify this for me?

Ok, Let me clarify some things. This is not my best friend's back porch. No, you cannot bring your own bottle, I don't want you to bring lawn chairs... coolers...extra blankets in case it is cold outside, I don't need someone to build a bonfire, and definitely dress accordingly for a nightclub. Be comfortable but remember you are coming to meet a potential date.. partner n life...a business partner... who knows?? The band, this band is Random Act Their music is a mixture of Jazz, rock,latin, funk... what can I say.. they are with any genre of music they perform. Come ready to party people and enjoy yourselves. If traveling from the New Port Richey area you can cut across St Rd 54 to Hwy 41 ( Land O Lakes Blve) turning north onto it. If traveling 275 from north or south you will take the Bearss Ave exit to Hwy 41 which is east of the interstate a light or two... turn north onto Hwy 41 also known at that point as Nebraska Ave and turns into Land O Lakes Blvd respectively. From you CAN take the venue address and put it in a search window to map out from your door step to theirs.. Ok... done holding hands... you have a great computer in front of you. Enjoy it !! But leave it alone the night of the venue and get out from behind that monitor and join us!

Glad that you mentioned that Mo! Don't Drive Drunk and ensure you have a designated driver. Drink Responsibly! I will be looking at close by motels for those that feel the would prefer not to drive back to their home destinations after the party!

I will be there earlier to catch (some of) the first Happy Hour. Those under age 21 will need to personally call to see if you are allowed to be there. Another great time in Tampa Bay!! POF party with one of Tampa Bay's Finest Bands and some of POF Members' favorites. This is a great location for all of Tampa, Clearwater, Largo, St Pete, and all others that would love to come party with us this Super Bowl Eve! Remember that POF members are allowed to invite guests so bring them on! This place is perfect to meet that Hottie that you've been wanting to meet in person and allows you to find out if they really do like that "Walk on the Beach". Plenty of room for that and more. Has the Ocean View sitting above the Tampa Bay right on Courtney Campbell Causeway with Comfortable waterfront Patio and Living Room style seating available in the Lounge for those one ~ one special talks. Plenty of room to dance.. and a little Luv n Romance.. if not inside, outside on the patio or the Beach! Let's all get together and have a blast! First Band J. Coker from 5pm to 8pm and then starting at 9pm to 1am will be Stormbringer Band. I will be there early to start my night off right and catch some of that first Happy Hour and should be in good shape by the time to you all get there! Have had some people ask about having a party in this area so thought that I would hop on The band wagon and venture that way. Got a call from a friend of mine who says that the band that will be playing that night is awesome so ready to see what it is like up in Land O' Lakes. I know that it is short notice but I am going to be there and thought that it would be nice to invite the rest of you! Come mix n mingle and maybe find a "King or Queen Fish"!! Wow! There are lots of people that are interested in this subject I am sure being that this is an international dating site. Though that most of the comments on this page are written comically I am sure that there just may be some people that have some interesting comments concerning the subject. I for one would welcome and love to read what they have to say. As far as the Dolphins.... are they Extra Terrestrial ??? I was beginning to think it was. The post were interesting reading though that deserves their own thread. Guess we could use their sonar powers to help track aliens, right?

Heather!! Welcome to the wonderful and rewarding world of hosting POF Events. This is such a great location to have a POF Event and yes!, it is so close for others from St Pete,Clearwater, Bradenton, Sarasota and the little towns inbetween to attend! Will be looking forward to all of the people that have attended POF events in my area and the areas south! I think all of us that have been a part of the parties elsewhere should show up for this event because this is going to be the premier spot that connects areas south and north of the Skyway! So everyone make an effort to be there on this Saturday POF affair. Lots of motels etc for those that don't want to travel. Pete!! It will be great to see you also. Missed you at Cafe 13 on the 20th. Tell all the Sarasota and Venice crews to come party with us this night. Go going Heather and again, looking forward to being a part of this event.
