Wierd sandwiches we ate as kids or anything else!
Posted: 4/7/2007 10:52:34 PM
My grandmother used to make peanut butter and honey sandwiches on whole wheat bread when I was a kid, I loved them then and I still love them!

I used to love potato chips on my PB&J sandwiches! Not anymore lol...my sister liked pretzels on her PB&J's hahaha, she still eats them

Young, black males
Posted: 4/7/2007 7:53:08 PM
Personally, its just not my cup of tea.

Everyone has their preferences of what they find attractive. Me--I like caucasian males with blue eyes :)

But saying this will probably brand me as a racist in here. I really don't find it any different than men who prefer to only date Asian women or Hispanic women, or black women, or blondes, etc.

txt spk and making since out of nothing
Posted: 4/7/2007 12:37:35 PM
I really can't stand it when I see textspeak used on messengers (unless the person is using their cell to use the messenger service, like yahoo for example) emails, in the chat forums & discussion boards. I also abhor any usage of "ebonics". That very **stardization of the English language is pretty low in my book and I will admit, I won't even return an email or IM if someone tries to contact me using that sort of vernacular. I certainly wouldn't want to hear them speak it in person either, it would grate on my nerves.

I need help...what would you do?
Posted: 4/7/2007 11:56:13 AM
My boyfriend is also a over-the-road trucker, so he is not home much at all. He is a company driver and I have spent time iwth him on the road (no I dont drive). I love spending time with him and he always wants me to come with him. Right now I am home taking care of some business.

A couple things to remember, rest stops are not always available, so we carry jugs of spring water so we can brush our teeth, etc. I like those pre-moistened disposable face cleaning cloths for freshening up throughout the day. We also carry baby wipes too. We have a small first aid kit too.

We have a tv with a vcr, fridge, a laptop, a cooler, two bunks, although the bottom one is large enough for us to sleep together. The cab is pretty roomy :) and we have plenty of storage space to keep our suitcases and stuff. I bring along some books, or my sketch pad to draw in case I get bored. Some roads are so boring and have no "scenery" haha, especially some parts of Nevada and Utah.

I love being on the road and seeing the country, I always think of it as an adventure.

I knew when I heard my boyfriend on the CB tellin his buddy that he was talkin to his "Mama" on the phone. When he got back to me I said, "Mama?!" he said "yeah thats what we truckers call our wives or girlfriends". So right then and there I knew it was official :) That was after a month of being "together".

Ladies - give up your panties ?
Posted: 4/6/2007 1:31:13 AM
lol....what is it withe the panty sniffers anyway......can we say gross!?! hahaha

anyway.... recently, I did give my panties to my boyfriend after a very nice evening when he was in town (he is a trucker and has to drive nationwide and isnt home very often) so I went into his sleeper and tucked my panties under his pillow. Later on that evening when he had stopped off to get some sleep before his next run, he said he felt something silky under his pillow, pulled it out and was "happily astonished" to find out I had sneakily placed my lacy panties there :) he now has a little piece of me when he's on the road, he says it has become his "dark fetish". I told him now he knows what type of panties to buy me and give me when he comes home :)

High end sex toys, how far would you go?
Posted: 4/5/2007 5:39:57 PM
LoL.. I guess by this person's standards I am not a "normal healthy woman", I am also considered by him to be "too ugly and pathetic to attract a human being, so I need to use a toy to get laid" as well as "brainwashed and lazy".

Well in my defense, why I am even doing this is beyond me, but that post grated on my nerves. My boyfriend is a trucker, and he drives nationwide, because of this he isnt always home, so in order to satisfy myself when he isnt home, I turn to masturbation. Whether its my showerhead, my hand or some dildos hahaha, my thoughts are always concentrated on my boyfriend and there is nothing wrong with that.

Masturbation is a healthy activity that you can have with yourself. Look around on the internet or read some books on human sexuality and you will see that doctors agree. I would much rather my boyfriend masturbate than cheat on me any day and vice a versa.

Masturbation is sex with someone you love :) Yourself!

After 7 years together she decides she does not want kids
Posted: 4/4/2007 11:35:13 PM
I dont think she lied. I think she is being realistic and wants to pursue her career.
It is ultimately her body and her choice. She obviously feels there is no "right time" for her to be having children again. Its a shame that it went on for seven years for her to make up her mind, but that is her choice. If you love her, you should respect her decision, and either stick with her and the children she already has, or its time for you to move on. I think she is being mature in letting you know her feelings and how you want to proceed. Imagine how hurt you'd feel if you were married and she told you afterwards.

Personally I dont want children and I always make that point upfront no matter who I am talking to so if we did become a couple, ethere is no misunderstanding.

why every man has to be funny
Posted: 4/4/2007 11:29:50 PM
My boyfriend doesnt need to be "funny" or extremely humourous. I am for the most part pretty serious and enjoy that in a partner too. There is a time to be humourous and a time to be serious. I dont think I could stand to be with someone who was a goofball all the time or always cracking stupid jokes just to make me laugh. A joke here and there or a little innuendo is fine, but dont try to act like I am the sole audience of the Apollo Comedy Hour. Its just annoying.

Hmmm, deception? How many think you've been deceived on here?
Posted: 4/4/2007 11:22:42 PM
The first guy I met from here was a deciever.

He had no picture on his profile, although his profile stated he was athletic and worked out regularly at the gym. He had messaged me on here and we had moved to MSN messenger for the remainder of our chatting that nite. He didnt show me a picture of himself til the next day, well it was only a head shot and he had long hair (which I dont care for), he said it was an old picture and that his head was shaved now. So I thought ok, thats fine.

So we chatted awhile and even talke don the phone that week, and agreed to meet at a local pub, I was already going there with my girlfriend and wasnt really expecting him to show up. Well after sitting there at the pub for about an hour and a half, two guys walked into the bar, one was short and average build, the other was definitely morbidly obese and taller. The morbidly obese one turned and looked my way and started making his way over to the bar. My girlfriend said, "Oh God thats not him is it?". So then I figured well I better not be rude, so I went over there and asked if he was such and such, he said yeah.Anyway, he wasnt what he said he was in his profile and I was understandably disappointed. He looked like he was around 400lbs and his body was definitely not athletic in any way.

I dont know where he thought he had an athletic build....lol

The Toilet seat thing!!!
Posted: 4/4/2007 11:14:07 AM
I never thought the toilet seat issue was a big deal. I mean how lazy can a woman be to put the seat down for herself? LOL..... Some men do put it down as a courtesy to them women they are with, my ex was like that, but we never actually ever needed to discuss that issue, he just did it. :)

theres worse things in the world to worry about than a toilet set being up or down.

What would you do if...
Posted: 4/4/2007 10:29:13 AM
why a faithful commited partner would be sharing their nude body with a stranger instead of their lover is beyond me. Sounds like he is testing the waters out there to see if he has an opportunity to cheat. You caught him before he could act on any, and now he is trying to lie his way out of it. Sounds like a real jerk. What about your feelings...? Guess he thinks the grass is greener on the other side or something.

Does housework =romance?
Posted: 4/4/2007 10:27:07 AM
Housework has nothing to do with romance, it is just something that needs to be done.

I think if someone is trying to say they are being "romantic" by doing housework or cooking, or any other domestic job around the house, is just looking for an excuse to make the other person feel guilty for them not doing it themselves. or to justify their own reasons.

"I am being romantic when I take out the trash" yeah right.

how to say i love you without actually saying it
Posted: 4/3/2007 11:34:23 PM
I forgot to mention a neat little thing that we are going to do for one another very soon. There are these rings called "poesy rings" that have sentiments engraved onto them, either on the inside or the outside. You can get different styles in many different languages. We have decided on a white gold band that says "Myn Genyst" which means "My Heart" in Old German, its engraved on the outside and in a fancy old style script. I think wearing a commitment ring is a nice gesture before marriage... Look online to see poesy rings, I have also seen it spelled posey, and posy.

Seeing that little constant reminder of what I am to him would melt my heart.

my boyfriend has his own little ways of saying I love you without actually saying it.

He has said things like "you are my heart", and has called me his "breath taker" haha :)

he also says that I am his "paradise"

He is from Germany and often says things in German, like Ich liebe dich (I love you) or calls me mein schatzilein (my little treasure).

I think little sayings like that can be profound in their own ways, and a lot more original that just I love you or luv ya.

Sex with a prince albert
Posted: 4/3/2007 12:15:20 PM
One of my ex's had it. I didnt care for it when giving oral, always found it would click against my teeth or interfere with what my tongue would be doing! As for sex, I didnt find it pleasureable, kinda annoying when you first try to get it inside. After a few tries, he had to remove it for sex and oral, it was just in the way LOL. No, I never recieved any pleasure out of it, and I think it kinda hurt him when we would have sex when he wore it.

I liked how it looked, but like I said, it didnt give me any pleasure other than visual.

The reality of online dating.
Posted: 4/2/2007 11:50:50 PM
I used to pay for the service on Hot*or*Not but last year canceled it after so many bad experiences with meeting people. I didnt feel it was worth paying for the service, haha, yeah I'm cheap. This time I decided to put my yahooscreen name on my profile so that people who also didnt have a star (paying membership) could message me.

anyway,I met my current boyfriend on Hot*OR*NOT and I didnt even doublematch him because he was from California and I am in NJ, I figured the distance would be a problem. well he messaged me out of the blue on yahoo telling me we had so much in common it was unbelieveable, well turns out he was right and we have a good relationship so far :) he is a trucker and well, comes up my way whenever he can :) Our relationship has starting to take on the next level :) and he is going to relocate up by my way so we can be together.

I was also on yahoo personals, but that was basically worse than hot*or*not. I canceled that paying membership after a year of no luck.

I guess you just have to take your chances, who knows who you are going to meet :)

What do you think looks really sexy on guys clothing wise?
Posted: 4/2/2007 11:17:48 PM
Personally,
I like a man with a shaved head, his ass in a pair of nice fitted blue jeans, a pair of black Doc Martens or combat boots, a nice clean polo shirt or Tshirt, some ear piercings and lots of tattoos and me hanging on his arm:) wow I just described my boyfriend hahaha

I'm not the suit and tie type of woman. I never did find a man in a tux attractive either. I hate seeing suit jackets paired with jeans, can we say tackyyyy?

I also hate those dock shoes, those fugly pants called Dockers, sandals worn with socks, and dress shirts...

and I absolutely abhor men who "sag" their pants showing off their boxers, that has got to be one of the worst and poorest excuses for a clothing style. I dont like the "thug" hip hop look, with the t-shirts that are so long they could be a dress, you know what I am talking about, and those black stocking caps on people's heads.

OP, why dont you mention it to your boyfriend that you notice him having an erection and wanted to give it pleasure while he was sleeping. Ask him his opinions on it and then go from there, no sense in doing something he might not like,

or may love to experience.... :)

The smell of ????????
Posted: 4/1/2007 11:45:18 PM
MHeath wrote that "just throwing this out there, even though the OP got what she wanted......Men do have a keener sense of smell than women. I know I am capable of smelling such things."

That is untrue, I have heard that women had better senses of smell, and have heard that there are no actual differences of scent detecting in both sexes. So I decided to look around on the internet and see what scientists are finding.

I found this article http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/1796447.stm

Some excerpts from the article: "Women's greater ability to detect odours and aromas could be linked to the oestrogen hormone, according to research.
A US study showed women of reproductive age are far better at identifying odours than men after repeated exposure to the source of the smell. Experts say many studies show women out perform men in olfactory (sense of smell) sensitivity. "

Another article: http://www.senseofsmell.org/feature/odor/odor_whitepaper_3.php

Do the Axe commercial annoy you?
Posted: 3/26/2007 1:36:00 AM

Every once in a while I see a commercial that is just soooo stupid it's beyond belief.

Axe is a prefume for men thing that advertises itself by showing women basically going
insane and chasing a guy because he wears this stuff, regardless of his looks or other
qualities.

(If the stuff could actually do this, it would sell even at $1000/oz w/o a problem.)

Anyways, do commercials like these annoy or perhaps amuse you?

If you can/could recognize the scent, would that affect your opinion of the wearer?

Personally I dont care for the scents by Axe, they trigger my allergies. I dont find them sexy.

Camoflage rings?
Posted: 3/26/2007 1:26:22 AM
I wear a large antique ring with several diamonds and sapphires on my left hand ring finger, I dont ever use it as a deterrent to men who might see me as available or not. I am right handed and dont want to wear the ring on my right hand for the simple fear of causing damage to it if I am cleaning or what have you.

Personally, I love orchids. I have always wanted to recieve a vanilla orchid, but that hasnt happened...yet. I also love lilies.

Much like other women, I like roses too, but I prefer pink, purple ones and even white ones as opposed to the commonly given red roses. I like different colors, variegated roses are very pretty.

Have you ever made up a story about how you met your on line boyfriend?
Posted: 3/26/2007 1:08:03 AM
Honestly, I dont see anything wrong with meeting smeone over the internet. It is much more commonplace than it was lets say 5-10 years ago. I think that more people are accepting of it and why should it matter if you met someone here or another internet dating site. I wouldnt lie about it, I am pretty upfront. I find internet dating much easier than blind dates or meeting someone at a bar or club.

Posted: 3/26/2007 1:03:30 AM

Intimacy and dildos
Posted: 3/26/2007 12:56:40 AM
simple-----There is no "opportunity" for emotional attachment to a sex toy, its just masturbation. However, in a FWB situation, a woman may get emotionally attached, whilst the man most likely will not.

When a woman masturbates, oftentimes she is sure to give herself an orgasm, where in many instances if she were with a man, the chances of her having an orgasm indefinitely might not be as great.

I am not in accordance with FWB situations, I don't think they are emotionally healthy for women. Why allow yourself to be used?

Rings
Posted: 3/26/2007 12:49:21 AM
In my opinion, I would love for my partner to ask me what type of ring I would like to wear. I prefer antique rings and platinum or a huge diamond isnt really an issue with me. Personally, I would be happy with an antque ring that was white gold, and had a pretty diamond that sparkled.

Many antique rings can be bought inexpensively, especially on ebay of all places. The rings you see in the retail stores have their prices jacked up for profit, their wholesale prices are usually well under 30% of the retail cost.

I would rather my partner spend money on a nice engagement ring, and save some of the money for our honeymoon :)
