Sounds like she's banging one of her clients. Or at least thinking about it. Be careful.

What changed your mind?

At the risk of sounding like a pig, I did the opposite. I loved it when I was younger and more concerned with what women thought of me. But after I realized I didn't have to do it in order to keep them around, I didn't see the point.

Seems to me anyone who would go to the extent to look up 5 different articles to prove someone wrong ... ummmmmmm .... ... may be experiencing a little obsession ... or something?

Or..... perhaps I did a google search on "Debbie Rowe interview" and all 5 of those came up together on the first page?

Why is violence for self defence acceptable by law since you can just run away instead?
Posted: 11/23/2009 7:04:42 PM
The only time running away should be used as self defense is if it's the best response for the specific situation. It should never be used as a default. I think too many anti-violence / anti-gun / anti-self defense people have a poor grasp of the concept of self respect. They view quantity of life as always better than quality. So in other words it is better to submit, be pushed around, and let others threaten or disrespect you as long as it leads to living a long life. They would rather live on their knees than die on their feet.

The modern western world seems to have a difficult time understanding the notion of death before dishonor. Quality of life over quantity of life. The belief that dying honorably is better than living shamefully. Honestly, how good is a 100 year life if it is spent running from things and not standing your ground?

A lot of people prefer to cower in the face of adversity and hope that someone else (i.e. the law) will take care of them and keep them safe. Because they can't and won't work to ensure that they can take care of themselves.

Randy Blythe from Lamb of God summed it up perfectly in the intro to the song "Omerta:"

"Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward.
Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both.
For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, 'If I Live, I will kill you. If I Die, You are forgiven.'
Such is the Rule of Honor."

But here is an article that states that he is not the father of the two oldest children. I think that Ms. Rowe was basically saying that she never had sex with MJ.

Did you research that enough to see that it was fake? It was a story taken from a celebrity tabloid website (the original article is now no longer even on the original site). Do a google search on the topic, and you get all of the following....

P.P.& Rapists
Posted: 11/21/2009 12:31:32 PM

For the purposes of this thread - I condone murder of a the most heinous child criminals by inmates in prison.

So you're against it if the state does it in a humane way, but you're in favor of it if it happens in a brutal fashion by fellow inmates?

Just to play devil's advocate here, one of the sentences you quoted in your previous post mentioned 135 people on death row since 1973 being released because they were innocent. I thought this was the whole argument for life in prison instead of the death penalty. Because you can always let innocent people go but you can't revive them from the dead. But if they're going to simply be killed while in prison, this doesn't really do a whole lot of good.

Suicides increase as foreclosures rise
Posted: 11/21/2009 12:14:08 PM

Peopl shouldn't try to buy homes they know they can't afford. People shouldn't be making babies they know they cannot affort to raise and send to college. The cycle of poverty will never be broken until peopl change their behaviors and theri priorities. Blaming the rich is a easy scapegoat for removing the responsibility from the person who cannot behave in a responsible manner and has their priorities all wrong.

When I lose my house I will just blame the rich for my poor decision to buy the house to begin with. That's the easy way out.

I tell you what...I don't blame the rich man for anything beause a poor man will not provide me with a job.

^This guy gets it.

A man's character is not judged by whether he bought his first house at 19, or has 3 Hummers in the driveway. It's what he does for the people who can't do for themselves.

Actually, I would say a man's character is judged more by his ability to think for himself and make his own decisions rather than caving to guilt or outside pressures and doing what other people tell him to do.

I guess I just really like to get to know a person before "making a move" ... dating 389346984694369432 people ... jumping from women to women and hoping to find the right one aint my style. Too much headaches.

And that's exactly why women see your style as "just a friend."

If you want someone to be interested in you romantically, you have to approach them from a romantic angle at the beginning. You can't try to be their friend and then shift gears on them ("surprise! I want to date you now"). The vast majority of women will not respond favorably to this. Some will even see it as deceptive. You want to talk about headaches. This is the biggest headache you will ever deal with. The recurring one that comes from trying to turn a friend into a lover.

Married woman becoming pregnant as the result of rape - does husband stay or leave
Posted: 11/21/2009 11:08:27 AM

I don't know about other people, but if I was raped and got pregnant and ended up having the baby I would love that baby no matter what it looked like, and if I was married and he didn't like it he could shove off. I don't think I'd want to be married to someone who didn't have the capacity to raise a child that isn't his anyway.

You wouldn't want to be married to someone who didn't have the capacity to raise the child of the man who raped his wife? This isn't some step-kid he agreed to raise when he married into the family. His wife was raped and is now carrying someone else's child.

We need more dog control laws. Dogs are dangerous. Dogs kill hundreds of innocent people every year. If someone breaks into your house in the middle of the night and they have a dog too, their dog might attack you before you can get to yours.

Dogs have been illegal in the U.K. for awhile now, and they're doing fine.

The problem is too many stupid people who beleive it is the responsability of customers to support lousy business practises with "gratuities"...if i go to a gas station and buy 20 bucks worth of gas should i have to pay an additional 5 or ten dollars because the station owner is to"cheap" to pay his employees better....restraunt owners are scumbags who hire anybody they can for next to nothing, charge 30 bucks for 5 bucks worth of food....then expect customers to pay extra for their employees.

agreed, but the servers shouldn't be penalized for the actions of their scumbag employers

Agreed. They should have the sense to find a better job working for a better employer. A business that mistreats its employees will not survive if no one is willing to work for it. But as long as people are willing to put up with subpar treatment, you can't put it all on the company. The employees knew what they signed on for and their showing up for work everyday is implied consent.

Posted: 11/20/2009 7:24:51 PM
I guess my question is what did you really want to do? I see two sets of expectations but nothing that really indicates what you truly wanted.

I'm guessing society/whatever says you're supposed to be a "gentleman" and not do anything. And apparently she thought you were supposed to just pounce on her and rock her world.

But really all you should have done was whatever it was that YOU wanted to do. Society and birthday girl be damned.

Don't get me wrong, had SHE sent the right signals, sure. . . I'd have had her in the sack poste haste!

If this is an indication that you wanted to throw down, you should have made a move. Screw the gentleman thing. If she didn't want it, she'd let you know, I promise.

How to tell a woman to start paying for part of the date

Don't present yourself in a way that you do not want to be treated. You set the precedent at the beginning by acting like an ATM machine. You're going to have a hard time convincing her to now give up her free ride.

All you can do is be straight with her. But also have enough of a backbone to walk away if she's not willing to meet your request.

Good luck.

Just relax and have fun with it. If she doesn't respond, move on to the next one.

But they can. It's really not nearly as hard as most people make it out to be. The fact that so many people think they can't is really kind of sad.

Honestly this is just retarded as a comparison. Of COURSE the women look like that in PORNOGRAPHY MARKETED TO MEN. Men don't LOOK at the "body" of a guy in porn, know what i'm saying?

Try watching some porn geared to WOMEN. Lots of hardbodies there. So save it, it's tough for everyone.

Very true. Gay porn is the same way. Adonis-like physiques everywhere. You appeal to your target demographic. That's basic marketing, not discrimination.

Don't push any advice on them they're not coming to you asking for. This might be really hard with people you care about, but I promise you people are not going to listen to something they are not initiating. And it will be a headache and a half for you to continuously try to encourage these guys to do things they don't want to do.

Sad fact of life. You can only help people that truly want to change. If they're not willing to follow through, all the advice in the world won't do them any good.

Politically correctness
Posted: 11/20/2009 4:15:21 PM

Ah...! I see... it's not based on the right-wing wingnut break-from-reality of the editorial quoted in the OP...

It's based on the mere fact that she is a woman... nothing more... women shouldn't have to worry thier 'purty li'l heads' about such stuff... that's 'fer the men-folk'... we've got to protect the poor little dears...

...even from thier own ambitions, eh...?

Wow. Way to completely miss the point. I always thought of you as one of the more intelligent smug liberals on here that I never agreed with. Someone that at least understood things on a deeper level than the average angsty knee-jerker. But you pretty much dowsed your credibility with kerosine and lit it on fire here.

I guess this will be the last post of yours I'll be reading.

Political correctness is really nothing more than suspending common sense for the sake of making people feel better.

I suppose it's useful in the same sense that drugs are useful; it allows you to escape the unpleasant parts of reality and feel good for the moment. But like drug use, it doesn't actually fix anything. Reality is still the same when the high wears off and you need a little more to escape again.

In both cases, the people who kick the habit and fix the real problems in their lives are the ones that thrive and succeed. And the ones that keep looking for another fix so they won't have to face things squarely spend most of their lives unhappy and in denial.

Is this a Hate Crime ?
Posted: 11/20/2009 2:35:18 PM
Technically, getting physical with anyone even in a relatively mild way such as that can be considered assault under the law. But 3 years in prison? Felony? Give me a break. Bar fights happen somewhere every night in most big cities where people break each other's noses. These guys get arrested and do a little time, pay a fine, do a little community service, and they're back to their lives again.

3 years in prison for tugging on a burka that didn't even come off a woman's head is certainly excessive and cannot really be justified. What people that promote these kinds of laws need to recognize is that this type of overcompensation does nothing but breed more resentment toward such people. It does absolutely zero to curb the hostility.

Would James Byrd have been dragged behind a truck if he wasn't black? Were you aware that one of the the perps bore nazi symbols and the words "Aryan Pride" as tatts? These white supremacists are just looking for people to lynch.

Would Matt Shepard have been targetted if he wasn't gay? The defendants in the trial argued that they were driven to insanity by alleged sexual advances of Shepard - so why would that not be a hate crime? Legislation is also needed to prevent the Phelps clan of Westboro Baptist church from assembling at the funerals of gays and war veterans, which otherwise, would not be a crime.

In both of these examples these victims would probably still be here except for the fact that someone targetted them because they weren't white anglo-saxon protestants...........

Both of those were crimes of opportunity. Just like every single other crime ever committed by anybody. How does the fact that the victims were black or gay somehow make the crimes "worse" than what happened to these two girls in this highly publicized case from 1993?

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1908666/posts

The Murders of Jennifer Ertman and Elizabeth Pena (Warning: Brutal Descriptions

Jennifer Ertman and Elizabeth Pena were 14 and 16 years old, respectively. They were friends who attended the same high school in Houston, Texas, Waltrip High School. On June 24, 1993, the girls spent the day together....and then died together.

They were last seen by friends about 11:15 at night, when they left a friend's apartment to head home, to beat summer curfew at 11:30. They knew they would be late if they took the normal path home, down W. 34th Street to T.C. Jester, both busy streets. They also knew they would have to pass a sexually-oriented business on that route and so decided to take a well-known shortcut down a railroad track and through a city park to Elizabeth's neighborhood.

The next morning, the girls parents began to frantically look for them, paging them on their pagers, calling their friends to see if they knew where they were, to no avail. The families filed missing persons reports with the Houston Police Department and continued to look for the girls on their own. The Ertmans and Penas gathered friends and neighbors to help them pass out a huge stack of fliers with the girls' pictures all over the Houston area, even giving them to newspaper vendors on the roadside.

Four days after the girls disappeared, a person identifying himself as 'Gonzalez' called the Crimestoppers Tips number. He told the call taker that the missing girls' bodies could be found near T.C. Jester Park at White Oak bayou. The police were sent to the scene and searched the park without finding anything. The police helicopter was flying over the park and this apparently prompted Mr. 'Gonzalez' to make a 911 call, directing the search to move to the other side of the bayou. When the police followed this suggestion, they found the badly decaying bodies of Jenny and Elizabeth.

Jennifer Ertman's dad, Randy Ertman, was about to give an interview regarding the missing girls to a local television reporter when the call came over a cameraman's police scanner that two bodies had been found. Randy commandeered the news van and went to the scene that was now bustling with police activity. My first knowledge of the death of Jennifer was seeing Randy, on the news that evening, screaming at the police officers who were struggling to hold him back, "Does she have blond hair?? DOES SHE HAVE BLOND HAIR?!!?"

Fortunately, they did manage to keep Randy from entering the woods and seeing his daughter's brutalized body and that of her friend Elizabeth, but they were unable to escape that fate themselves. I saw hardened, lifelong cops get tears in their eyes when talking about the scene more than a year later. The bodies were very badly decomposed, even for four days in Houston's brutal summer heat and humidity, particularly in the head, neck and genital areas. The medical examiner later testified that this is how she could be sure as to the horrible brutality of the rapes, beatings and murders.

The break in solving the case came from, of course, the 911 call. It was traced to the home of the brother of one of the men later sentenced to death for these murders. When the police questioned 'Gonzalez', he said that he had made the original call at his 16 year-old wife's urging. She felt sorry for the families and wanted them to be able to put their daughters' bodies to rest. 'Gonzalez' said that his brother was one of the six people involved in killing the girls, and gave police the names of all but one, the new recruit, whom he did not know.

His knowledge of the crimes came from the killers themselves, most of whom came to his home after the murders, bragging and swapping the jewelry they had stolen from the girls.

While Jenny and Elizabeth were living the last few hours of their lives, Peter Cantu, Efrain Perez, Derrick Sean O'Brien, Joe Medellin and Joe's 14 year old brother were initiating a new member, Raul Villareal, into their gang, known as the Black and Whites. Raul was an acquaintance of Efrain and was not known to the other gang members. They had spent the evening drinking beer and then "jumping in" Raul. This means that the new member was required to fight every member of the gang until he passed out and then he would be accepted as a member. Testimony showed that Raul lasted through three of the members before briefly losing consciousness.

The gang continued drinking and 'shooting the breeze' for some time and then decided to leave. Two brothers who had been with them but testified that they were not in the gang left first and passed Jenny and Elizabeth, who were unknowingly walking towards their deaths. When Peter Cantu saw Jenny and Elizabeth, he thought it was a man and a woman and told the other gang members that he wanted to jump him and beat him up. He was frustrated that he had been the one who was unable to fight Raul.

The gang members ran and grabbed Elizabeth and pulled her down the incline, off of the tracks. Testimony showed that Jenny had gotten free and could have run away but returned to Elizabeth when she cried out for Jenny to help her.

For the next hour or so, these beautiful, innocent young girls were subjected to the most brutal gang rapes that most of the investigating officers had ever encountered. The confessions of the gang members that were used at trial indicated that there was never less than 2 men on each of the girls at any one time and that the girls were repeatedly raped orally, anally and vaginally for the entire hour. One of the gang members later said during the brag session that by the time he got to one of the girls, "she was loose and sloppy." One of the boys boasted of having 'virgin blood' on him.

The 14-year-old juvenile later testified that he had gone back and forth between his brother and Peter Cantu since they were the only ones there that he really knew and kept urging them to leave. He said he was told repeatedly by Peter Cantu to "get some". He raped Jennifer and was later sentenced to 40 years for aggravated sexual assault, which was the maximum sentence for a juvenile.

When the rapes finally ended, the horror was not over. The gang members took Jenny and Elizabeth from the clearing into a wooded area, leaving the juvenile behind, saying he was "too little to watch". Jenny was strangled with the belt of Sean O'Brien, with two murderers pulling, one on each side, until the belt broke. Part of the belt was left at the murder scene, the rest was found in O'Brien's home. After the belt broke, the killers used her own shoelaces to finish their job. Medellin later complained that "the bïtch wouldn't die" and that it would have been "easier with a gun". Elizabeth was also strangled with her shoelaces, after crying and begging the gang members not to kill them; bargaining, offering to give them her phone number so they could get together again.

The medical examiner testified that Elizabeth's two front teeth were knocked out of her brutalized mouth before she died and that two of Jennifer's ribs were broken after she had died. Testimony showed that the girls' bodies were kicked and their necks were stomped on after the strangulations in order to "make sure that they were really dead."

The juvenile pled guilty to his charge and his sentence will be reviewed when he turns 18, at which time he could be released. The other five were tried for capital murder in Harris County, Texas, convicted and sentenced to death. I attended all five trials with the Ertmans and know too well the awful things that they and the Penas had to hear and see in the course of seeing Justice served for their girls.

Two VERY important things in the criminal justice system have changed as a result of these murders. After the trial of Peter Cantu, Judge Bill Harmon allowed the family members to address the convicted. This had not previously been done in Texas courts and now is done as a matter of routine.

The other change came from the Texas Department of Corrections which instituted a new policy allowing victims' families the choice and right to view the execution of their perpetrators.

A Very Ugly Situation - What Would YOU Do?
Posted: 11/20/2009 1:46:08 PM

And ? Who are you ? moral police ?
Unless she complains for sexual harassment ~ or they do something going against company policy. It's none of your business.
You can't control people's comments, ideas, thoughts ~ it's a free country. You were not even invited to that conversation.

I kind of agree with this actually. My first thought when reading this was that I was wondering whether this guy actually violated any kind of company policy or if the OP just personally didn't like what he said.

Policy is policy, so if he violated something you should certainly take the appropriate action. That's why it's policy. But I do have to wonder when I see statements like...

From what I could tell, he has no interest in her beyond that

Unless you have a company policy of "no sleeping with co-workers / only meaningful relationships," then this implies a personal agenda here.

Suicides increase as foreclosures rise
Posted: 11/17/2009 4:02:08 PM
I see a lot of people once again trying to turn everybody into victims of circumstance. Blaming things like predatory loans and illness and divorce and basically anything but the person, themselves.

The bottom line is this. You should realize that life is going to throw you unexpected curveballs. If you think this will not happen to you, you are living in a fantasy world and you will be unprepared when the inevitable happens. It is naive to think this will not happen to you. It happens to all of us. And it is irresponsible not to prepare for these things in advance. People complain about not having a lot of "disposable income" to deal with such "unexpected" things. How many of these people have cable tv? How many of these people have the internet? Shouldn't planning for inevitable life emergencies be a higher priority than luxuries? If you can afford to post on Plenty of Fish but you're worried about what might happen to your mortgage, something is wrong here.

The problem isn't bad circumstances. It's poor prioritizing. Personal accountability goes a long way. If you take care of the important stuff first, you won't find yourself looking for somewhere to place the blame when something bad or unexpected happens. You'll already be prepared for it.

Horible New Fasion Trend
Posted: 11/17/2009 3:39:11 PM
About damn time. Bare legs are boring. Even in an age where they are the norm, women still get more attention for wearing hosiery. Don't believe me? Check out the threads on topics like this in the sex and sexuality forum.

I'm really surprised more women haven't jumped on this untapped goldmine before now. It's an easy attention getter that few women are currently capitalizing on.

Walmart sets its sights on ruling the retail world.
Posted: 11/17/2009 3:25:51 PM

Well the first thing they can do is open the other 30 damn registers so that we don't have to stand in one 45-minute line. That would be a nice "impact" on my shopping experience there. As it stands, as soon as I can afford it, I am going to stick to Albertson's and Target.

Actually, at least in my town, Walmart is much better about this than Target. That is my biggest complaint about Target other than the fact that they're not 24 hours. Even during regular day/evening hours, they have about three registers open. At least during the day Walmart has most of theirs open here. It's only after midnight that they close them all down except for one. And even then, they still keep about 4 self check out registers open.

If Walmart were so great, why are there so many movements by CONSUMERS to avoid it or ban it from communities outright?

Probably for the same reason people continuously jump at the chance to bash America. Because it's what we're "supposed" to do. If something is big and successful, it must be inherently bad like some sort of bully and must be rejected in the name of the little guy who is somehow being oppressed (even if we have no personal connection to the little guy).

It looks like an extension of white guilt to me. That's not to say that there aren't other valid reasons not to shop at Walmart, but ask the average anti-Walmart person why they hate Walmart, and I'm willing to bet they will give you some excuse on par with what I have mentioned here.

Personally, I shop there exclusively. As far as I'm concerned, any place I can go to buy a fishing pole, a DVD player, and a frozen pizza at 3 in the morning cannot be a bad place.

Are there women/men who wait as long as 6 mos. before sex?
Posted: 11/13/2009 5:25:34 PM
I have no problem waiting 6 months to have sex with someone. I mean, I'll be having sex with someone else during that time. But I'm totally cool with waiting for the other person to put out while I'm doing that.

She's not interested in you. If she was, she wouldn't always mention the alleged boyfriend. You don're REALLY care about the alleged friendship. So just move on already

Perfectly worded.

The Game and its effectiveness
Posted: 11/12/2009 2:57:04 PM

To me it seems the ones who are of the "...and realize that happiness comes from within" are much more likely to be of the MGTOW (Men Going Their Own Way) variety and not buy into the alpha/wuss dichotomy at all.

The irony here is that this puts them in the alpha category. Which is the whole crux of truly being alpha; not caring.

Torn between morally right & right to be happy

Perhaps I'm the only person focusing on this, but the 12 hours away thing seems like it would be a bigger deal to me. Even if she was single, that's a retarded amount of distance between the two of you. Are there not plenty of equally amazing women that are closer to where you live?

People With Freckles
Posted: 11/12/2009 2:32:23 PM

Freckles are the least of your problem dating phenomena. So maybe it's you.

I have to agree with this. This thread just seems like another excuse for someone to complain about why they're not having any luck with the opposite sex. "Clearly, it must be my freckles!" As if it couldn't possibly be the fact that you don't have any game.

I once saw a crippled midget in a wheelchair pick up a hot girl (I shit you not). Nothing is impossible. It's only your self-limiting beliefs.

When you understand the potential genesis of a specific fetish or role playing lifestyle and it is not rooted in something healthy, I don't see it as being judgmental to disapprove of it.

People often tend to distort what it actually means to be non-judgmental.

ok...i'm a 19 year old virgin
Posted: 11/12/2009 1:35:52 PM
OP, you're way overthinking this. Just get out and get it over with. I promise it's not as big of a deal as a lot of people make it out to be. It's nothing magical or life changing.

I did the whole fairy tale experience thing. Loving 2 year relationship, both of us were virgins, etc. It was no big deal. Like anything else in life, it doesn't get good until you get good at it. So don't expect it to be any more exciting or perfect than riding a bike for the first time. You'll fall off. It won't be that cool. And afterward, you'll think, "That's it?" But the more you do it and the more you figure out what you're doing, the better you get at it and the more enjoyable it becomes.

But you can't get good at it until you start. Just remember that.

Problem With The Yankees?
Posted: 11/12/2009 1:16:56 PM

You want to fix baseball get rid of 4-6 teams and you will have a better pitching pool.

I actually kind of agree with the notion of getting rid of some of the cellar dwelling teams but not for the purposes of freeing up any talent. More for the fact that it seems pointless to have teams in the league that seem to have no interest in really contending year in and year out. It's one thing to go through a rough spot, but you've got teams like the Pirates that haven't been good in 20 years. And it's not like they haven't had some good players come through their system either. They just get rid of all of them. They're becoming a farm team for other teams. What is the purpose of having a team like this around other than just somebody to kick around so you don't have to finish last if you're having a bad season?

Greed... is good? I definitely think so.
Posted: 11/12/2009 12:38:21 PM
I can see the veins in your forehead popping out, man. Sit down and have a cold one. No need to get all upset.

No, I'm not. I'm operating under the KNOWLEDGE that the motivating factor, for the vast majority of people, is to provide for themselves and their families.

Which equals necessity, not greed.

But we want MORE than what we need. We want to live in excess. How many f**king times do I have to make this point. The sole fact that we WANT more than we need, the fact that we want bigger homes, cleaner carpet, endless supplies of food.. the fact that we DESIRE EXCESS, that we are greedy, is the VERY reason that drives us to innovate, to constant improve our conditions, and to live more comfortable lives.

Actually I would say this speaks more to the fact that we're suckers for consumerism. Whatever we're sold as being a compoment of happiness, we're all too eager to buy up. Because most of us haven't taken the time to figure out how to be happy without extra shit we don't need. That's why we buy it. We're under the mistaken assumption that more shit will make us happier. It's the same reason we invent new shit. Because we think having something to make things easier will somehow make us happier. That's not to say that it won't make you happier temporarily (until the novelty wears off and you desire more new shit), but you could have been just as happy without it. And you wouldn't still have the need to keep getting more.

It all comes back to happiness. People can either generate it from within and enjoy any circumstance or they can seek to find it from external sources which becomes an endless losing battle on par with an addiction.

Greed is really nothing more than seeking to fill a lack of happiness through external sources. This is why it can consume someone and doesn't guarantee happiness even with success. Ultimately, a happy homeless man is better off than a miserable millionaire. This is why we say that money does not buy happiness. Want proof? How many people here honestly think Michael Jackson was a happy person?

Kirk Cameron compares Charles Darwin to Hitler!
Posted: 11/12/2009 12:08:05 PM

When my errors are pointed out, I don't cry and whine about some supposed condescending tone, I examine my beliefs and adjust them in accordance with reason and analysis. Anyone who refuses to ever alter their beliefs in light of such things are embracing ignorance. If someone corrects you and backs it up, don't feel slighted, feel grateful.

I agree with this. My point was that people operating from a "purely scientific" standpoint are not always the ones doing the correcting. They are just as often the ones spouting lies as though they were facts. Yet they often have a tremendous problem admitting they are wrong or altering their perspective even when presented with logical evidence that shows the error in their thought processes. They simply dig around for more science to try to further prove what they were saying.
