What Ive discovered about the living at home issue
Posted: 6/6/2009 7:06:33 PM
Steve,

It's nice that you are caring for your parents.

I agree with the poster who said, this is only seen as a problem in the United
States. I live with my Dad. Not by choice, but because I was a dumbass with
my finances, and I'm trying to slowly, but surely get out of this situation. There are all kinds of reasons for living at home, and the media with its constant refrain of
"you must be a loser if you still live with your folks." is insane.

Don't let the judgmental people get you down.

If you think people judge for living at home, you should see how they judge
you on your sexual experience, or lack there of. In other words, people suck, but there are good ones out there, so you should always keep looking. :)

Good luck to you. :)

What's with the . . .

It's b.s. to have to pay for a personal ad site.

Remember back in the day when Yahoo Personals
were 100% free?

Why so many younger men contacting older women??

Don't you hate it when everything looks good on paper - or in this
case an ad on PoF?

This guy was everything I was looking for, he was just 11 years
or so younger than me.

I believe I scared him off, because there is something I had
to tell him, and he never wrote back. Imagine you have cancer,
you'd feel to get that out in the open. I don't have cancer or a criminal
record, but it was something I felt I needed to share to be honest
with this guy from the start.

He read the message (naturally). But couldn't bring himself
to write back. In retrospect, I don't think he was really interested
in a long term relationship...what bugs me is that everything about
this guy looked RIGHT in his ad.

So, once again, I have to look for another guys ad.
I just wish they'd write back and explain why: "I'm not attracted to you,
but I wish you luck." instead of not saying a word and you wonder
what in the heck YOU did wrong.

First time; And What Does/Did Virginity Mean To You.. Sex Before Marriage: A Must

raptor_red - I agree with what you said.
I noticed you posted in 2007, so did things change for you?

Like you, I finally put it in my ad, and it has nothing to do with
religion. I don' t even believe in organized religion. I think I scared
one guy away with that news, and that, I don't have a high falutin' career
like he does. Oh, well, I'm not going to lie and my romantic soulmate
will love me for who I am.

What are the truly free sites?

Does anyone know why my post was deleted in another thread?

I just wanted to know if singles(iguessi'mnotsupposedtosaymystate) was a legitimate site?

Because it's message board always has zero posts and no one is online.
