They have been explained properly. People can do amazing things if they try, or are skilled. Surely there's someone in the world who is extremely good at creating complex(yet simple) geometric art. The same person doesn't exactly need a ton of light to have a compass and a scale drawing. It's not too hard to count strides.

There is no such thing as a soul--there's no ghost in the machine, so to speak. When one's brain is starved of oxygen or nutrients, or if it beomes seriously damaged, the person's a goner, and that's all there is to it. I don't really know on this. The entire reason you are capable of thought/etc. is due to electricity. The air will typically be ionized in some fashion. It could be possible that whatever the "mind" actually is, it is capable of existence outside of the physical brain due to the ions. This being complete hypothesis, but just like the "BUT WHAT IF THERE'S A GOD" crew, even if a God or soul existed, they would -not- be what some 2000 year old collection of fairy tales and middle eastern history claims them to be.

I find the funniest part is that evolution isn't a theory. It's a fact. Only the mechanics are a theory. Most of the basis for Chemistry is based on atomic theory, but quite a bit about it is hard fact. Just the same as the universe's origins 15 billion years ago. It's fact that it has been expanding from a point. The mechanics of the big bang are the theory. And some clarification for the intellectually inferior: Evolution has absolutely zero to do with the big bang, it also has absolutely zero to do with how life began. The latter is called abiogenisis. Quit lumping them together as they aren't even in the same sciences.

I just find it funny that a few aberrant incidents involving the H1N1 vaccine are suddenly the norm and that the vaccine is dangerous because of them. Feed 100,000 people a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I guarantee that at least one person will die or almost die. Peanuts are deadly by anti-vaccine nut logic.

Perhaps if you are honestly as passive as you claim to be(which would be as a true Christian should be, for those who have actually read the book), then I don't see why any sane person should care. However, if you are pushy, or react to criticism of your beliefs with irrationality, or resent someone for not wanting to join you in church, etc... Then that could be more than likely the true reason. I know speaking from my own experiences that I do not care what religion another person has, so long as they do not proselytize. I would gladly debate with them and share my point of view.... However, it's these "MY GUY MUST BE A CHRISTIAN, ETC." profiles that just make me shake my head. It's hilarious how UNchrist-like most "Christians" are, and even more hilarious that many of them think that morals must be derived from a God rather than simple behavioral theories. I'm not understanding how my agnosticism/atheism says anything at all about my morals. But, such is the hypocrisy of most people who judge based on their religion.... which is pretty much based on leaving ALL judgment to a supreme God. And to a post that I read later in the thread: There's nothing hypocritical about a non-Christian judging a Christian based on their judgmental tendencies. Why? because the non-Christian doesn't have to adhere to any guidelines that say to leave judgments to God and God alone.

-A lie is a type of deception in the form of an untruthful statement with the intention to deceive, often with the further intention to maintain a secret or reputation, or to avoid punishment. Your hair isn't that long. Your lips aren't that color. Your skin isn't that color. etc. Thus, you are deceiving the person with an untruthful statement about your looks. Now, the harshness of my post was to the EXTENT that the theoretical person went(basically, being entirely someone they weren't). Simply one or two of those isn't a lie, but when you have to change everything about your appearance.. that's quite different.

After reading a single page of idiocy, I figured I'd post. He's probably accusing you of cheating because you're sending off vibes that he's getting the short end of the stick. Which, given your profile here, is probably the case. I have become extremely attuned to when I'm being lied to/cheated on, and here's the #1 way to tell: When a girl does nothing but argue with you, OR only comes to you when she's sad/upset/frustrated/etc. with something and needs support. If you never get the good side of her, never get her when she's happy.. then guess what? Someone is. Someone's getting the happy side of her, and you're left with the leftovers. So, while I'm sure it's been said 100 times already "oh, he MUST be cheating on you" is just completely damn stupid. It's more likely there's another dude in her life, and she's just not being honest.
