HeySteel?!? I've seen Witten play hurt A LOT last season he was limpin off the field after scoring the winning TD barley could walk but still managed to win it COWBOY style. Barber is good but Witten is just as good. That's just my opinion.

Miles Austin MY NEW HERO!!!!

Cowboys are lookin good!! Eagles next week!!

Whats it mean..when a girl looks to the side when you kiss?
Posted: 10/28/2009 9:33:27 AM
Ummm maybe she's embarrassed and she's checking to make sure nobody she knows is watching

There are so many ways to fix this and move on. Of all the things to be suspicious of in a relationship this certainly ranks way down on the totem pole.... She's kissin ya if you don't like the way she's doing it talk about it.....

COMMUNICATION is the key in every RELATIONSHIP that works!

Take that back skoochie!! The Cowboys are not suckie lol.... They're a good team that just needs to get it together and play like yesterday EVERY single time....

What happened to the Giants JAC? I'm not being a smartazz I just really wanna know what the heck happened yesterday that they lost to ARIZONA? I only caught the tail end of the game and Manning's last minute interception was not at all what I expected. I actually thought the Giants still had a chance til then!

Are women generally suspicious of 40 year old bachelors?
Posted: 10/15/2009 11:23:14 AM
When I meet a 40 year old woman who has never married or had children, I also make some assumptions. Positive ones.
Do you make the opposite assumptions of someone aged 40 who has been married and divorced and does have children? I would assume that your assumption has proven to be innacurate?

I defer back to the age ole saying..

To Assume makes an ASS out of U and ME

I don't necessarily see it as a red flag.... But something I want more information about and in turn become more inqusitive.... As one of the above posters said being 40+ never having been married or had children is just different and something I'd like to understand before getting involved.

Because I've supported the Cowboys for years win or lose I feel I've earned the right to vent my frustrations. I do think they are playing poorly and I will continue to voice my frustrations accordingly. You don't have to agree or even like it, it matters not! I still love my team I just don't love what they've produced lately. It is quite possible to love your team but also not to like them very much. So yeah maybe I am being a little hard on them but it comes from years of frustration and having my hopes shattered that they will do better season after season!!

What if you could notcover your flaws.....
Posted: 10/13/2009 7:27:04 AM
Well I'm not an insecure woman, yet I do wear make up. Never had plastic surgery nor do I intend to. For the record I don't wear make up to "hide" flaws, I do it simply because I like to. I think it enhances what I've got naturally. I certainly don't do it to attract men!! I guess I'm a little confused by your question OP...

What if we women could not wear make up or have plastic surgery...Then how would we attract men??@?@?@? I guess the same way most of us do now, award winning smiles, great personalities, the patience it takes to put up with posts like these, intelligence, and our great sense of humor to start!!

I still find it discouraging that Dallas needed overtime to beat a winless team that ranks 30th in total offense and 32nd in total defense. Even if by your rationale MGM they played harder against Dallas than they did any other team... The Chiefs have lost 28 of their past 30, and we struggled to beat them. The Cowboys committed 13 penalties, seven of them pre-snap penalties, for 90 yards!!! That's ridiculous!! Two turnovers, the Chiefs had none. They gave up 304 yards, including the 74 yard drive that tied the game, that is the fourth time in five games they have given up a scoring drive in the final two minutes!! UGHHH!! I know as you say a win is a win but having to try that hard to beat KC makes me wonder what is yet to come. Our schedule is not going to get easier and come December I worry. Rationalize as you will, I just don't see this season producing anything worth bragging about! I want to win, make it to the playoffs, and eventually win it all AGAIN. Dallas fans need it to bring back the enthusiasm of years gone by.

Forgive my negativity but it's becoming more and more difficult to be a Dallas fan!!

in a couple of weeks no one is going to remember that the cowboys struggled to beat the chiefs , they just remember they beat them.
I'll remember!! I guess I'm not your typical Dallas fan. I want to do more than just win I want to play WELL and deserve it!

Phillips and Garret both need to go and at this point I think they should take Romo with them!!!

Congratulations for what??? That was pathetic at best. They looked like a bunch of highschool kids trying to compete in the big leagues. Honestly I think my daughters highschool team could of done better. The penalties were ridiculous. We shouldn't have had to work that hard to beat an 0-4 team!

Although I will continue to root for my team I must admit I'm becoming VERY discouraged with the lot of them!!! Phillips and Garret need to go and they can take Romo with them!!

Now Austin was my superstar yesterday!! Thank god for him! Choice did a pretty darn good job too!

Dallas fans love to make excuses, but the fact is the boys got outcoached something terrible by a 33 year old rookie coach...
I don't typically make excuses for the Cowboys unless of course there is one to be made. Even then it's not an excuse but a reason. Not only did Dallas get outcoached (which isn't hard with Phillips at the reins) they got outplayed and lost it by inches! Romo is not one of my favorites never has been but he's getting sloppier by the game. The back up isn't worth a chit either so it's not like they count on that to save them...

I'm just so disappointed!! *SIGH*

Whatcha trying to say MGM that I'm less than average? Just because I didn't put the answer and the question together to quantify the outcome certainly doesn't make me any less of a fan. It's not that I didn't know that the QB does that it's that I just..... WTF why am I explaining myself to you LOL N/M party on I'll be your less than average fan cause your opinion of me has always mattered SO much

The receiver could have run the wrong route. Happens alot.
Pkay that's a no brainer I get that. Isn't it still the quarterbacks fault if he throws it into the hands of the other team though? The receiver runs the wrong route the quarterback is still responsible for throwing the ball to the RIGHT person. Correct? Can I get some other opinions on this too please??? Where is Sly when I need him.....

Barber being out didn't make that much of a difference in my opinion Choice did his part. I think I was a little irritated that he was so upset about being out that he didn't even bother to show up?!?!? WTF quit being a crybaby and get out there and support your teammates!!

The Cowboys were lacking something in the first half. They almost seemed like they had already given up. It was sad! I told a friend of mine that I was fixin to turn it off cause it was just pissin me off! BUT it was like a train wreck I couldn't look away!!

It was nice to be on the receiving end of interceptions for once!! I heard one announcer say that he didn't think the interceptions were the quarterbacks fault. Please excuse my ignorance but how can it NOT be the quarterbacks fault? Can someone please give me their version of this???

Although we won like JAC said it wasn't effortless and we didn't play clean good football. Way to many penalties in my opinion and we benefited from the Panthers lack of offense and quarterback mistakes. I don't like winning like that HOWEVER I like winning over losing so I'll take it LOL....

Skoochie my dear BETS off!~! I never said "deal." Although I luvs ya, I've yet to give you the power to speak FOR me lol.... I have to say though your Saints do look pretty impressive this season~! I'm not sure I'd bet against them!!

Closure.
Posted: 9/27/2009 12:24:56 PM
Perhaps it was quite clear to her after the phone call following the second date. Why beat a dead horse? Maybe that was closure enough. Maybe she felt quite the same and figured all was said and done, why continue spending time on something that matters NOT!? Being that she had lost her job and was dealing with financial hardship to boot, I would imagine she simply didn't have the time or energy to spend going over the reasons why you weren't right for each other. She had bigger fish to fry!

Say goodbye to the sign folks!! Thanks again for the kudos, but like I told Nancy I simply do the right thing because it's right. Character is much easier kept than recovered. To know what is right and not do it is the worst cowardice.

Really... so the Cowboys are on their last thread? What exactly does that mean? I think they got plenty of thread left. They have a brand new stadium that cost a pretty penny, they've been failing to make it to the big game, they haven't won a playoff game in A LOT of years. Win or lose they aren't going anywhere. Soooo what exactly does being on your last thread imply?

but I’ll give the Cowboys, 49ers and Patriots their due. They are one of the Elite franchises in NFL history.

That's what makes you one of my favorite people!~

The Steelers have made it to Super Bowl 7 times and won 6. It is impressive. What would be even more impressive is to see them go back to back and win again. Steelers fan I am NOT but they've got a GREAT team again this year, a SUPER defense that's amazing to watch, and Roethlisberger's drama seems to have ended.

One word of caution however, some might argue that c.ockiness as Super Bowl champs had something to do with their performance in 2006. Stay confident and by all means root for your team with everything that's in you but try to avoid being C.OCKY!!

To that I would respond, "nothin." You get what you give. Or perhaps I wouldn't respond at all. I agree with the above poster in that something honest, sincere, and maybe a tad unique would inspire a response.

" Hi I thought you were cute, so whats up?"
To me that says I'm too lazy to type more than one sentence! Brief is okay but that's 9 words you can do better than that.
