Tom & Jerry's
Posted: 11/7/2007 9:37:46 AM
Does anyone have a recipe for Tom & Jerry mix? You used to be able to buy the mix in the chill chest at the grocery store, but, I haven't seen it in years. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

Science discovers life after 45
Posted: 5/6/2007 7:39:46 AM
I don't want to be 10 years younger, I don't want to redo the last 10 years. I actually like the age I'm at now, if I could stay at this point for another 10 years, now that I'd like. I am more content with myself now then I have ever been in the past. I have more self-confidence, and have more self-respect now then I have ever had before. I know that I'm no where near perfect, and never will be...LOL. But, I'm working on that, trying to change what I can, and dealing with what I can't. So NO, I don't want the last 10 years back...

Beta Testers Needed
Posted: 5/4/2007 7:54:36 PM
Interesting idea... I took the test, it was about 75% accurate. But, that seems to be as close as most of these things are. Thank you for all the effort you put into this site.

Have you been tempted to lie about your weight ?
Posted: 5/1/2007 8:18:14 PM
Nope, never lied about my weight, no reason too...lol. It's very obvious I'm not a size 6. I have clear pictures on my profile showing what I look like, and I make it clear in the text that I am not a small woman. It's not like I can hide it...LOL. I much prefer to have someone like me for me, then have them like me for some lie.

i'm witty he's not

If you change who you are, you won't be happy in the long run. Take it from someone who tried it. I don't know what else to tell you to make it work though. Just don't give up yourself or your personality for someone else. Good Luck...

Sinful foods you can't live without

Huckleberry cobbler, hot out of the oven, with a big scoop of good vanilla ice cream. Is it any wonder my rear is the size it is...

Delay in email notification

I have the same problem with yahoo. Sometimes the delay can be up to hours. It's a bit frustrating at times, but, I don't know what to do about it.

A Few Extra Pounds
Posted: 3/19/2007 7:44:54 AM
I am a big, fairly tall woman. It says so on my profile. My head shot doesn't so much show it, but, my body shots do. If that's not your cup of tea, oh well, everyone has their preferences.

What gets me is the men who don't look past the picture, then get offended when they find out that I'm not a smaller woman. I don't hide anything, but, I'm also not going to put a pic of my fat rear up as my main profile picture.

If that is going to make me dishonest, so be it...

What makes him think................
Posted: 3/18/2007 6:45:14 PM
I'm sorry you had to go through that. There's no excuse for such obvious rudeness. I'm no size 6...lol, way, way far from it, but, that doesn't mean I want some fool telling me that. All that man did is prove, in front of an audience, what a total cad he is. Men like that aren't worth even thinking about, let alone letting them upset you...

Urinary Tract Infections - prevention / cures

If you mix the cranberry juice with one of the lemon-lime type soft drinks, it is much easier to drink. Tends to cut the sweetness somewhat.

older gentleman - longer hair
Posted: 3/11/2007 5:19:16 PM
I doesn't matter what other people think, it's your hair... wear it how you want it. Now after saying that...lol, I happen to think that long, clean hair on a man is very sexy. Love to play with it.

Has anyone been brave enough to meet someone with no pic at all?
Posted: 3/10/2007 2:27:37 AM
From what I've seen here and other sites, having a picture posted is not necessarily a
guarantee of what someone looks like. Just because a person has a photo posted, does
not mean that is what they look like. It can be an old picture, a picture that mis-
represents their physical appearance, their age, or a picture that is of someone else. So, it seems to me that it would make no difference whether a picture was posted or not. Just make sure that you meet that person in a public place, and take proper precautions.

I will, and have, met people off of these sites with and without pictures. In both cases I have been pleasantly surprised, or disappointed. I am no beauty, lol, I'm not even classified as good looking. But, that has not stopped me from meeting some very nice people, some of whom I'm good friends with still.

Yes, there are @ss's out there of both sexes. The only way to avoid them is to hide in your home for life. You have to take some chances if you want to meet the right person eventually. Just remember to be safe. There are numerous threads on here that will tell you all the precautions to take.

Take care

Different Names for the Same Foods
Posted: 2/25/2007 10:40:59 AM
When I was growing up... a 'toad-in-the-hole' was something they made for us kids. Cooked it for my kids for years, they still like it now and then. Use a glass to cut a hole out of the middle of a slice of bread, then put it in a butter fry pan. Crack an egg in the hole and cook til the egg is set to your preference. Egg and toast in one...lol.

Ladies..How do you justify wearing high heels?
Posted: 1/14/2007 5:11:21 PM
LOL, let's see, I'm 5' 9" tall now and a BBW too boot. I can just imagine me toppling around on a pair of skinny heels... I live in flats or if the weather tolerates, sandals and barefeet.
