The Funniest Joke In The World! Seriously!

90 year old frail man lying on his deathbed gasping for breath
knowing the end was drawing near,
when this wonderful aroma wafted up the stairs and brought a tear to the old man's eye
it was the smell of scones, his favourite food,
his wonderful wife of 60 years was baking his favourite scones, he crawled out of bed
crawled slowly down the stairs and into the kitchen,
he reached up his frail and wrinkled hand to the table
when he got a huge wack from a wooden spoon
and his wife bellowing ... F..k Off! they are for the funeral!!

Is it ok for a guy to have female friends while in a relationship?
Posted:

I agree with curlygrl and me thinks you dost protest too much. If you respect this guy as a friend then why don't you leave the ball in his court and let him decide how often he sees/contacts you because it seems to me that all the pressure is on his shoulders. Also, you did not say how he felt about this. I would take a back seat so as not to cause any problems in their marriage, he knows where you are if he needs you... isn't that what having friends is all about.... and I think if you had a wider circle of friends and a busier social life then this situation would not bother you so much. Tread carefully or you could lose a good friend.

Burnt Out on Online Dating

Ron 9 .... you have hit the nail on the head.... there is so much crap on here!!!! what
is that all about??? I really dont know ,.. when you are up front it is hard to believe the lenghts some people will go to for you to see them in a different light.... why???? u will never meet them.... and that is a fact. There is no such thing as "on-line dating" you need to meet the person to know whether they are genuine or not, bottom line... unless you are a dreamer

Do people join dating sites to find love, a lasting relationship, or for other reasons?
Posted:

i am on here to see if the "nut cracker" really exists, cause that is what it's gonna take for me...... i, like bonbons, hope that the needle in the haystack will find us..... but then again i'm too realistic to hope that i would meet the man of my dreams on a website of false people. Short term, long term, ...if they are not honest does it really matter? do you really want to continue to seek someone who keys a few words on a pc? di you really think they are gonna change yor life?????

affection and kissing

i agree with *TEE* i personally could not live without that intimacy, it's all part of the relationship for me. It is obviously bothering you, and it will depend how much it bothers you whether you stay with this guy or not. I would'nt feel very loved at all, and that, in turn, would make me unhappy...... would rather be single by far. Don't sell yourself short.

Works both ways .......... and usually men have more knowledge of the article than a woman does,... we usually rely on the opinion of the sales person, and 99% are?...... yes, you got it.. male

dont know what the rules of separation are where you reside but where i come from you must be living apart for 2 years before you get a divorce, so i imagine they have lived separately for a while anyway. Time will only tell whether this is for real, enjoy what you have together, but keep a clear head. Good luck.

when do you decide to say yes or no to sex.....
Posted:

well... it's not pleasant to wake up and think what have i done? all good at the time, but us ladies are sensitive souls and we will spend longer telling the guy that " really, I am not easy" than the act itself took! He's off, and you are beating yourself up about it for days afterwards...... is it worth it? do we care what the guy thinks? everyone makes their own choice, and either way it doesn't make you a bad person.

FoxyMoron74: why do you have to resort to smut? the thread is an honest opinion required, which you sort of get to eventually. Why do you need to refer to sexual inuendoes?

Well, I'm fecking impressed big style! Mine was Brittany Spears....... happy days lol
Now I know it's just for fun. The site also does group photo lookalikes if the faces are clear enough. Would be good fun if you had the girls round for a glass of wine and take some pics when they are pissed and see what pops up then...hehe

when is it ok too add someone to favourites
Posted:

I never thought of that and just went and checked and there are three have added me to their favourites and I dont even know two of them! I think it's a bit odd for some one to class you as a "favourite" when they know nothing about you! Is silence golden?

Paying for sex ok?

Stonecastle! Get your ass over to Belfast on Sat 3 Mar where the Belfast meet of POF is going on and I will make it my mission to get you fixed uo with a nice girl. Failing that, try sitting on your right hand until it goes numb (it will feel like someone elses hand) and then DIY to get rid of the frustration. Result? pins and needles for 5 minutes afterwards and wallet contents still intact! lol

Live each day as if it was your last.

I was at a wedding and the Best man was giving his speech, rounding it off with this bit of advise to the happy couple: treat each day as if it's your last
and treat each night as if it's your first!
Good advise, and the happy couple did just that for 2 weeks on honeymoon, unfortunately the groom collapsed and died in the airport waiting to board the flight to come home.

The Sweetest Thing

I was very touched to receive the following text message from one of my friends yesterday:-
Had an X-Ray done today,
Guess what they found?
It was you, safely tucked into my heart
They said my heart was fine
with a friend like you in it.xxx
Brought a tear to my eye.

No pic = No reply......Does it work??
Posted:
2/19/2007 3:45:00 AM
I done the opposite:- I didn't post a pic, and I done this intentionally to see whether anyone was interested in me as a person and not what I looked like. I received messages frequently and there were some I would not be interested in- you know the ones (if you have a pulse that will do) I am only in touch on a regular basis with two guys and I only sent my pic to them after we got to know each other. There are other reasons for withholding your pic, and it does not mean the person is "bug ugly" which is what a lot of people think when they dont see a pic.

MR TIMMS: you said on the Forum that you have kids and they live with "mum" well, you need to re-visit your profile as you claim to have NO CHILDREN - now why is that?

Belfast Meet???

Hi All, have went to Forum to sign up but no instructions when you click on the Sign Up icon, HELP! I do want to go, and I agree with the venue as Madisons, as it is handy to other bars/clubs as well, because to be realistic, not everyone shares the same taste in music and some might want to move on at some stage.Madissons has a disco that starts at 11-11.30pm downstairs but there is a £5 cover charge, but may be able to negotiate something if there are a lot of us going. I would have helped had I known about this before. Well done, I'll buy you a drink!

I know dates are informal 'interviews' but
Posted:

I think you were the "safe bet". Like they went into a car showroom and there were two flash cars and one relaible one, they went for the flash, it did'nt work out and they turned to Mr.Reliable. Good for you that you declined, how dare someone treat another like that. I have avoided the dating on here as I read stories like yours and it really puts me off. I'm sticking to the meet face to face when Im out. Anyone wanna convince me that POS is a good alternative? Good luck Cheeky39

what was the one thing that made you fall out of love with someone
Posted:
2/9/2007 5:39:25 AM
I think that we never actually fell in love to start with, we only thought we were in love because we wanted it to be love. The thumping heart when he walks into the room where you are meeting, the instant smile and hug is all heady stuff that we confuse for love. A few weeks down the line we start to get annoyed about small things like him saying he is going to a football match on Saturday and not shopping with you, a few months down the line and it's not exciting to make love anymore because he is'nt making the effort required, THAT'S WHEN THE LIGHT STARTS TO GO OUT FOR SURE! I think us girls are in love with the idea of being in love and are much more intense about finding our "soul mate" than guys are. Did you know that there are only 7 perfect matches for everyone in the world? So most people settle for a lot less rather than anticipate life on their own even after the light has well and truly gone out. Men disappoint all the time, but maybe our expectations are too high.
