Working for the Forestry service, and working the Forest Fires. 2 years mop up crew. 1 year 1st crew there. Working for 18 hours, then getting 4 hours sleep, and start the whole thing the next day.

When i was living in Van a few years ago. I was walking to work. As I was going across the cross walk, a person on a cell phone, not even watching what was going on, just about hit me. If I had been 1 or 2 sec's faster, I would not be here today. If you are going to use your cell phone. Pull over, or if it is not safe to pull over, then let it go to voice mail. If it is an emergencey, they will call back. That is just my 2 cents. Darrell

When i was working as D.J a couple of weeks ago. A person came up and requested "I want to be a cowboy", by Boys don't cry. That got me to thinking, what are some of the 1 hit wonders that you had. Some of the other ones that I liked were. Cum on feel the noize, Saftey Dance, Bett Davis eyes (liked her voice). Along with some others. So just intested to see what other people have liked. Her drug is crack. I have seen her loose a lot of weight, and go from someone who was outgoing. To someone that can't stop using. I have tried to talk to her about it, but it is like talking to a brick wall.

I have a problem that i have looked at from all sides, and connot seems to find a solution. Where I work a person that I have been friends with, has a problem with drugs. She has tried to come back to work, I know what her problem is. But she has also asked me not to tell anyone at work. My question is should I risk loosing her friendship by telling at least the boss so he is aware of it. Or just keep my mouth shut? Any advice would be thankful. Darrell

With the type of work. I really have to watch what I say. A couple of people have been fired for using language that is considered rude. But after i hang up the phone, I usually can think of a few name to call the people that have just hung up on me. but always under my breath. As I was taught you never swear in front of women or children. D

When she said "I AM GOING TO GET YOU TWO FOR THIS". I'm thinking that she went and made up a story of how you are the addict. In that case the Workers will start a investigation into weather that is true or not. But if it proves that you don't do drugs or have nothing to do with durgs, then it will go no futher. I have a very stong feeling that everything will work out. D

Do I ever feel old now. I remember the show's Rocket Robin Hood along with Hercules. Along with 99% of the cartoons I have seen on the post. A couple that i can remember watching was. Bravestar, Thundar the Barbarian, D&D. Thats my memories for today.

Mine was in 88 at a place called "Seabird Island". About 90 mins east of Van. It was Foxfest. 6 bands. Svengali Rockhead Ugly Kid Joe April Wine Tom****ane And the best one Def Leporad Was one of the best i have ever been to. Been to a few others, but that was by far the best.

Was having coffee with some friends the other day, and we started to talk about T.V shows that we use to watch when we were kids. Then moved on to shows we watch now. But what was your favorite T.V show when you were a kid. This may be dating myself, but i use to like a show called H.R Puff&Stuff. So hope to hear from some more people about this.

It is a tie for 1st with me. Monty Python and The Holy Grail. I am sure anyone who has watched it, Even once will remember a few lines. The other one is Beautileguise or Beattlejuice take your pick. Michael Keaton played a great role in that movie. Not my rules. Come to think of it, I don't have any.

I have to admit i am a Telemarketer. But we are told that if a person is being rude, we give them one warning, then we hang up if theye continue. I am lookiing for something else, but until you have been doing this type of work, don't judge a person by what type of work that they do. It may not be the best job in the world, but it pays my bills, I have a roof over my head, and food to eat. Is that not the purpose of a job?

I have been stood up a couple of times. If you cannot make the effort to at least call the person let them know that something came up, or they are not interested, then don't make the date in the 1st place. If make a date it would take either my death, or something very drastic to make me not show up. But that is just me. Not sure about anyone else.

Greatings from your friendly nieghborhod dragon. I had a great time at the GT, I hope everyone did also. With the weather geting warmer, i was thinking of mabey somekind of an outdoor event.
