I struggle here too..I think everyone does, really. Humor is alwayz good, sarcasm too but it's tough to pick up without tone-of-voice. The big PLUS is finding a ladies profile that intrigues me; usually one that leaves me wanting to either complement, rebutt, or simply laugh with it. Turn OFF: Very long profiles with too much information...save it for the emails/IM's. Another is a profile that says "ask me" and that's it....lazy? BIGGEST has to be sexual...clearly not here for the same reason I am :) Nice meeting yas.. M

James, so sorry..this is a real tough one bud. Man...here's my best...make what you can of it and good luck brother. 1) No more legal action...whether you intend it correctly or not, she will CERTAINLY take it the wrong way.. 2) Is there ANY way to forget about her? 3) Give her the fantasy man...if you really love her that much, just show her.... Give her something that costs nothing, involves no words exchanged and ONLY she could possibly want......(here's where you kick in) - a good tip is to stop and think about your gift before you give it. Ask yourself if your gift comes across as creepy. If you're cool with it, proceed; if it comes across as creepy...RETREAT! Write her a song, take some lessons from a friend and learn 3 chords on the guitar and play your song to her. If she'll take you back, it wont matter how bad you sing or play...it's the thought for sure. Maybe remember back to that time when she'd mentioned to you about a specialty lollipop she picked up at a flower shop and she couldn't get enough of it...go buy another one and send it to her at work... It'll come....sorry for rambling :) M

Good call! That has EVERYTHING to do with it. Obviously not all men are the same, nor are all women, therefore, to even lable the issue as a male or female problem (why do MEN not understand women?) we're already adding to the issue. What if we all assumed that we MUST NEVER ASSUME AGAIN? If I do not assume you are just like my best female friend and you do not assume I am like your dad, we might be a little more perceptive when we first meet, then we both might put in that extra effort into understanding each other, which is required as a corner stone of ANY solid, long-term relsationship. I mean not to offend anyone but I believe "Love at first sight" is simply a chick phrase. When decoded it really stands for "wow, that guy's HOT and man...turns out he's intelligent, truthful and witty as well!".. You can't judge a person's entire being by reading their life story, let alone taking a single glance in their direction from 50 ft away.... :P ok, ya...so I'm opinionated ;-) Thanks for asking tho!
