For my experience as being the "worse" meet/date without a doubt is when here teeth actually fell out and landed on the table ... "OMG" !! And NO, there was no follow up date/meet..as that "meet" ended rather quickly due to loss of appetite !!

Here is question to all to see/hear your comments towards this.. Other members who have marked your profile as where they consider/think you are HOT yet when attempt to thank them for the compliment,you find out that you have already been "blocked" by that member without any prior contact yet your profile meets all their "MAIL SETTINGS". Has there been other member's here that have experienced this? What is your opinion towards this as why being blocked....or for the one's that have "marked" other member's/profile as "HOT"...the reason you have blocked prior to any contact would be???

I have chatted to many others that have attended these POF gatherings....seems the same reason keeps coming in reply .... "not of a younger crowd there, more towards the senior crowd attending". Just recently a friend and her girlfriends went to attend one just this weekend over in lakeland area held at a motel/hotel....while her and her friends were dancing some older lady actually approached them asking why they came when POF gatherings were meant more towards the elder crowds meeting up..since then she know has a very sour taste to pof gatherings. ..how RUDE this elder lady was to actually tell this to them. She went due to the list stating there would be over 130 who signed up to attend...with 50 of these members being younger than 45 yrs old...when arrived she stated that approximately 60 people attended and not more than 12 were under the age of late 50's. and main music was of 60 style...She said to me "we felt like we by mistake were at a bingo hall from hell".

Perhaps these females that put their opinion towards size 12 or above being an "average" in their eyes don't get out shopping for clothing that much...take any store you wish to pick and start looking with her own eyes and seeing that size size 10 are now having tags attached stating "full figured"......

Regardless of opposite sex..people seem to think for some reason they have come to they are thinking they themself are too good for any other or looking for "mr/miss perfect" but if that person ever did come about what would make you think that person would want to be with you since reaching the "perfect" mark leaves no other room for company. The one's that have put themself on this "soap box" have ruined it for other's that are considered to be very attractive by another..perhaps just being to shy or unsure of themself if they were to approach another to strike up a conversation...to take a chance on life and LIVE! The one's that do claim they are better than other's....they are known as "gold diggers" and out for their own gain. Take time to look in a mirror and ask yourself how lonely you are being unapproachable when your friends that took a chance are enjoying life.

I am glad to see the thread that I started is still going ... thou I have read many post here that have bicked as well as give other "excuses" to cover up....some info that other's have posted...the statistics back from the 70's were correct then when stated that "average"size was between 10 - 14...but we have progressed since that time era and the since "average" size does remains under a size 10 for here in the states.....other countries it DOES vary. Just remember...if you not like what you read here in this post....you were not forced to participate.

I have lent a friend some money ($120.00) and have yet to be paid back after 6 months and when asking her for the money back either I get some fictious excuse or she goes postal on me for asking for my money back that I lent her in time of need along with telling her that this money would be needed to be paid back in 3 weeks. Now every time that I send her text messages and leave messages to her cell as well as emails, no replies come back from her end. I wish to hear YOUR experiences on you yourself lending money to your friends and how you handle this? Now when I do get a reply far and few between they are "bickering" comments coming from her end. I was floored when she offered to come and have sex a few times with her as pay back for the money I lent her....I not want the sex, just want what money is owed to me.

How far would you actually be willing to travel to meet one in person (whether be traveling by plane or car) in distance (miles or hours) and what is the farest that you yourself have traveled to meet one in person? Just was curious to hear others on how far they traveled or had one travel to meet them in person and if was a DUD when came into reality for you....tell your experiences.

How come many people THINK they are unapproachable? Do they bring themself in this catagory or are they put there? Do you have a friend that says or thinks they are unapproachable or do you just think or them have their sights set too high even for theirself? Have a female friend that is gorgeous but when her and I chat she just keeps telling me when she does go out with her girlfriends that no men approach her since of her looks. I try to encourage her to make the first step and strike up conversation., this is not the 50's no longer women are encouraged to start conversations as well as us men.

I willl stand with DRMMERGY on his reply to this posting... Some of you females out there become so FREAKING POSTAL when a male rejects your offer...whether this being your offer to give or ask for phone numbers,dates or just straight out sexual desire. Us males have this option just like you females out there to actually say NO,NOT INTERESTED...but yet I have experienced personally as well as by sight females just going off on a guy since he said NO or rejected her. Some of these females out here REALLY need to work on their issues as well as a few females out there seem to be forgetting to be taking their prozac before leaving their house. Remember ...YOU females out there have YOUR preference as well as attraction to certain males just as us males have our preference and attraction to you females...YES, attraction DOES and WILL always play a major part of life as this has always taken place throughout history! SO for all the men out here that have had their own share/experience with those WAKCED out females.... here's your beer.... Some days are just better than others....just like females....LOL....

Why do women date multiple guys at once? I'll tell you why... because it's the smart thing to do in this day and age. Men date multiple women. We all date, until we connect with someone. What are you supposed to do in the meantime? Commit to one person you don't like??? I TOTALLY agree with SPARKINTHEDARK here....regardless of gender. We "meet/date" til we find one that gives us the "spark/click" we ALL search for. ..with HOPES that the other does not think just cause ONE date/meet a committment has came about unless both agree....some of you people out here CAN be so "POSTAL" ()when other has been honest with you by saying..."just no spark once met in person & good luck with search"...

I have heard from chat that too many testimonials posted on one's profile is NOT a good thing as well as those postings that are "gorgeous,hottie" will hurt a female's profile. Question being have you actually talked to all the ones in your favorites? Seem that some out here in "POF land" actually become upset (/)since having that one on one's favorite yet to chat with them. So how many that you have on YOUR favorite list have you ACTUALLY chatted by email or by phone and MORE than just once (short emails such as "HI,HEY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING,HOW ARE YOU DOING" do not count as actually emailing/chatting to another. Why does this also bother some out there in "POF land" being on another's favorite yet never spoken to/with them ? SPEAK UP ! I confess...I do & have been that way for many years... no, not cause of the MYTH..."looks bigger"...LMAO.... just much cleaner and say have consideration for her. I have a pubic hair phobia !! I know from past experiences that if she is NOT shaved or VERY closely trimmed down there, regardless of how heated the moment is...that moment will die RAPIDLY/INSTANTLY if she is not shaven/close trim down there. This does go the same for us single men as well....when in groups or even just when being solo in a location (club/bar,stores) that some men just fear other men. In past years I would notice this personally or be told by others (friends) that I would be receiving an "evil" eye from some guy ...yet no words were spoken to his lady. Is this due to that person being that UNsecured in ones self??? Not all of the single people out here (both male & female) are "vultures"...waiting to snatch others from them....

Just wanted to put in my "2 cents" in to this forum. mysticalman4u I understand you. As a female friend once told me "IF a female will not tell you her exact weight but only say just a few extra pounds...either means she is heavy set or that she is one that believes the "NEW" meaning of AVERAGE build means overweight". Some males also do this as well as she personally found out in person when met one from POF in person. She said the lies started from the begining...no telling where it would end. Only place that AVERAGE would or could mean for this NEW meaning or just a few extra pounds would be at the weekly Jenny Craig meetings. In a way "a few extra pounds & average weight" is just like sending or posted outdate photos of ones self. To this day Average build still rings in at for females 5'5" - 5'8" acceptable weight is upto 150 pounds...NOT 185 pounds.
