If someone emails you with misspelled words and bad grammar, do you respond?

I would reply as I always do but I´d hint that I wasn´t interested in going on.
Whenever I read something written to me I automatically look for mistakes. After correcting so many exams, essays and exercise books, what would you expect?

Although English is not taught here the way it should be (with a focus on Grammar), I still think people should check their spelling. It can be so easily done nowadays! Don´t you agree?

What's your star sign, and are you what they say your characteristics are ?

Capricorns are very very organized. I am well I don't know...

My shoes are all labelled in boxes; my jewelry is spread in drawers (one for the ear-rings, another one for necklaces, and so on); my stationery is in five different icecream containers ,which are BTW, labelled; my clothes are all separated into colours and seasons...) but guess what .... I'm the messiest person ever!!!! You can hardly walk sometimes at my place! The kitchen-bench is always full of papers and stuff! A friend came here out of the blue today and was SHOCKED with the mess although he didn't verbalized it (so polite of him!).

HOW CAN YOU EXPLAIN THESE TWO SO CCONTRASTING TRAIT S IN MY PERSONALITY??? Maybe I should go to a shrink!! Help!!!

Thank you Frankiepankie2 for agreeing with me.

Sorry Henry 333 - Just stay in QLD - the Sunshine State although it doesn't feel like that here in MOntville. SOOOOOOOOO cold! I was born and bred in Rio, Brazil, a tropical country. Moving back to Cairns! Can't stand the weather here!

I've read your profile and although I'm single I wouldn't go for you. (Sorry for being so blunt but I'm here simply to be of some help, ok?) Why?

1. Your pic. You're definitely NOT ugly but there's not a smile or anything special about it... Try to get more photos, too. Different angles, clothes and places...

2. You sound boring! Women in our age group are REALLY looking for someone interesting with a zest for life! After going through raising children and a failed marriage WE WANT TO HAVE FUN!!!! It I were you, I'd re-write your profile. You certainly have some good writing skills but you should be more daring and creative! Make use of some new imageries (Make up your own!) to interest the reader, be more optmistic about finding someone and try to convey a less serious (= more appealing ) image of you. Your profile definitely lacks humour and a more positive feeling about it!

3. The sex bit. Although it has some really WOW information (The bit about getting your partners exhausted ) you don't seem to be persuasive enough to get my exclusive attention. The reason? I think you 're not letting anything to the imagination... Try to seduce us with your words. Are you self confident enough (You should be if you're such a great lover!) to be a charmer, a seducer?

Good luck with your fishing! Hope I was of some help!

The O word. Sex related question.

The best lover is the one who pays attention to his lover's responses and acts according to those!

Listen to the sounds she makes. Pay attention to the way her body moves.

If it sounds like she's enjoying it, go on. If it doesn't , try something else. Just use your imagination. Be daring and creative!

worst traits from ex partners...

What about that terribly cold August night back in 94, 95 or perhaps 96? I suddenly woke up with my boy friend pulling my hair! He then threatened to break my front teeth if I didn't leave the flat! He was flipping out!

I had only my undies on and it was soooooooooooo cold outside! It happened around 2 or 3 in the morning and I had to wait outside until the day dawned so that I could go back in and try to do something. (Luckily I managed to grab my keys while he was pulling me towards the front door!)

When I went back inside I noticed that the while carpet in the living room was covered with hair and blood! I feared for the worst! I kept following the trail of blood and found him lying in the bath tub . It was full of reddish water! He was asleep.

I felt like screaming! (It was as if I were the main character in a horror movie!) I had to try my hardest to control myself because I didn't want to wake him up!

I phoned his grandmother who lived in Brisbane (We were in Cairns) and explained the situation to her. She advised me to get him to talk with her on the phone which I did. I sounded sooooooooooooooooo casual! "Darl, Nana wants to talk with you. " Nobody would ever be able to tell what was going inside me...

To cut a loooong story short, he ended up in the psychiatric ward of the Cairns Hospital. When I visited him the next day I got to know that he had put a razor blade into his anus!

On the settlement day Mr. Hassall (I call him Mr. ***hole) asked me to put his name in the documents because he was going to build a house on the land (We were together then). He NEVER did. When I wanted to sell it ( Over a year after we broke up) he said he wanted $30,oo.oo !!!!

When I came back from Brazil in 2004 I found a condom in the garbage bin! Later I found out that Mr ***hole was having an affair with a woman and she dared to come to my house while I was away! My gorgeous pet rooster left a scar on her leg! LOL

What about lies? Can't stand them! When there's too much explanation... there are lies, don't you agree?

What tuns u on the most? personallity or looks?
Posted: 6/13/2007 2:21:26 AM
My friends always say I have a weird taste for men. To be quite frank I don't care about looks so much (Not even weight or bellies ... Well, except for hairy backs!!! Sorry but I've felt this way since I was a kid and saw Peter Sellers in a scene on the beach or lake... !!!)

I do appreciate, CHARMS though. A wink , a certain smile, the way they talk/sit/eat.... And of course the personality! Being caring, thoughful, fun to be with, articulate, intelligent, witty... Yummy!

Seductive guys who are obviously liars are such a TURN OFF, aren't they? (It's fun to see how far they dare to go, though... LOL)

Sorry, I don't have much experience in these forums. I thought I was replying to one of the people ...

I'm a Capricorn. We are definitely stubborn, persistent (Is it only me or EVERYTHING seems to be difficult for a Capricorn to get???????????), loyal, earthly, ambitious, practical...

People tend to think we are cold but we are not! Also, once we getto a certain level of intimacy with a man... WOW! WE 'd just need a waiter to keep bringing food to our bedroom!!!!! LOL

Capricorn (female) + Scorpio (male) ? Best combination, I reckon!

As a teacher I was handing out some sheets of paper to my Junior High School students when one saidout loud that I had swore at them. Instead of saying sheeeeeeets (long vowel) I said s*** !!! Nowadays I make sure I exaggerate the length of the vowel just to be on the safe side!

Another time when I was doing a cooking course with Skillshare, my cooking teacher asked me to go to the other classrooms (They were doing carpentry, welding, sewing, etc...) to try to get them to buy some of the food we cooked during lunch break. Well, I just took for granted that native English speakers would try to say "Crepe" the way we do in Brazil (Trying to copy the French accent...) . I was terribly wrong and I kept inviting not very impressed listeners to come and it the CRAP we were making! Now I KNOW I surely know how to say crepe in English, don't I???????????

Boring and reliable

or PASSIONATE but FICKLE??? My best friend and I were discussing heaps of issues pertaining relationships . Out of the blue she asked me that. What a dilemma! What's your opinion on this one?

I suppose it all depends on what you want - a long term relationship or just a fling...

What if you DO want a long term relationship, would you be able to be with a guy who is NOT young at heart, doesn't have the joie de vivre but is just BORING, utterly BORING plainly because you know he won't leave you?

Isn't it better to be on your own?
