^^^ Moving to Edm and getting a job with HippyHip!!!
From Page 1
Our parties are still on... one at Belgo and the other at Ruth Chris...
Ruth Chris is a great place!
We only have 6 employees where I work. And I work for myself at my other job. We won't be having any Christmas parties, but the tips/bonuses are fantastic!

Cute Doesn't Cut It ...

They've got this idea (one or both parties) that they can have their own needs or wants met and not really have to be responsible to anyone else about it. To not be expected to return the attention that they are given. To be able to take others for granted as if the love, attention, caring and dedication to them are due to them for being there, but not able or willint or whatever the reason they don't return it at least as intensely as they recieve it.
This "accept me as I am" crap destroys a lot of relationships. You can retain who you are but should understand that the ideal person for you is someone who returns all that you offer and makes you want to be a better person to your partner. Your partner should feel the same way. Pettiness, this "treat me like a princess" crap, the "me me me" ideals that men and women are guilty of... these destroy the relationship no matter how ideal your partners may be.
So true EasyGuy! One sided relationships don't make it very far. Resentment will build and destroy the relationship if one is always compromising for another.

Having lived with several GF's and roomies, we've often argued about our usage of toilet paper.
I didn't read the rest of the original post yet and I have to say, if toilet paper is what you're arguing about (the biggest problem) then your life is pretty damn good.

“‘Like I was just f---king angry and I remember I just started choking her,’” Evans told Vancouver police a few days after the August 2007 slaying. “‘I don’t even know whether I choked her first or whether I hit her first. I remember at one point just swinging away and then I remember sitting there and, ‘Holy f--k, she’s dead.’”
http://www.theprovince.com/news/Trial%20Kitsilano%20massage%20parlour%20killing%20gets%20under/1973561/story.html
AARC graduate Andy Evans worked as a peer counselor at the Alberta Adolescent Recovery Centre (AARC).
Prior to this he was an "oldcomer" client, responsible for the care, including overnight unsupervised care of these "newcomers" in the facility's unlicensed, host homes.
This graduate was capable of murdering a 33 year old woman because HE couldn't sustain an erection.
Guess it wasn't really safe to force other troubled youth into his care at AARC.

if you had a basement with quality open beams that could support up to 300lbs(allow for extra momentum of pressure from a swinging bag) a punching bag is only as loud as the hits.
We use these at home... garage only... I wouldn't recommend using in a condo at all.

The open air urinal: What about the chicks?
Posted:
9/4/2009 3:44:56 PM
whatb a ludicrous concern. what about the chicks? are you for real? 90% of society is so pc and concerned about womens crap , ie makeup , clothes, handbags, accesories jewelery etc i say its about time us minority males have a receptacle devoted to we that can pee standing up
i mean cmon , really, where else in society or fashion are men actually put ahead of womens desires ?
Although I completely agree that marketing almost everything is geared towards women, the need to urinate is hardly considered "fashion" or a "desire".
Maybe they should place these "male oriented" receptacles next to the benches and have little purse hooks so the guys have somewhere to hang our purses while we're trying on clothes.

First off, what a beautiful dream for a 13 year old female to have.. Talk about courage and adventure!!!
She may rule the country one day.
She may have many more years experience at sea than others who have attempted this.
But if it was my decision for my child, not a chance in hell!!!

Just wondering what could possibly make you sexually incompatible with someone you've spent a significant amount of time with and have fallen in love with?
Many things can make a couple sexually incompatible. If you've ever had sex with someone incompatible you wouldn't need to ask.

What are people ULTIMATELY looking for?
Posted:
8/19/2009 8:35:50 PM
in all honesty i'm looking for a girl with her head on her shoulders, knows what she wants in life, and is mentally stable. someone i can have deep conversations with yet on the other hand we can talk about nothing at all. a woman who i can travel with and can stay awake on a long car ride is always a bonus as well. A companion and a lover of sorts i guess you could say. and i guess to top this list off i would have to say i want a woman that i can take home to the parents and she'll be very presentable and mature, but when we're together can be a kid at heart and know how to enjoy the simpler things in life...
that is all
I like this answer best.

Would you be able to forgive?
Posted:
8/18/2009 4:25:59 PM
It's been well documented that child molesters are rarely rehabilitated. The urge stays with them and they will do it again and again and again.
If I found out a man I loved had done this in the past, I would be out. Nothing they could do or say would justify things and I would not have any trust or respect for them. Is it worth the chance of them possibly hurting your children or someone else close to you?
It makes me REALLY upset when a mother chooses to stay with a man who has molested her children. Quite often, these mothers don't even believe their kids, and are willing to overlook things for their partner. It makes me physically ill to think about. Child sexual abuse is a subject that is quite often swept under the rug and that no one wants to talk about, but simply put, it ruins lives and should be taken a lot more seriously. It happens a lot but no one ever wants to admit it.
I agree with this post.
The average victim tells 7 people before they are believed/action taken.
May not have been a child.

i believe that aarc's days are numbered. and all that is needed to stop aarc is for THE TRUTH to come out!
aarc brutally abuses teens, and has done so systematically for years. that is the truth.
the people who run aarc and their staff are members of a cult that use their cult beliefs to modify behavior. that is the truth.
aarc uses manipulation and coercion on teens, as well as the alberta government. that is the truth.
THANK GOD THIS IS BEING DUSCUSSED! i am very surpirsed, but very impressed and proud as well that canadians are not putting up with this crap!
oh and to the previous poster: i will try to remember to live in the moment, and that expectations are pre-meditated resentments, and that all we have is today, and that my familly is dangerous to my recovery, and that if i ever drink again i will die, and that i can never see my friends again, and that i am POWERLESS.
AARC held it's Charity Golf Tournament today. I'm curious how much $$$ was raked in.
