This just happened yesterday in a town I can't remember but it was on the national news. A man was arrested for robbery when he returned to the scene of the crime and attempted to ask the victim out on a date. Her sister called 911 She chatted with him till the police arrived. (check CNN for verification)

OK, here are some goodies fortunatly not all mine: I attended a Catholic Highschool where religion was madatory for the four years we were there. In one class the teacher was explaining how oral sex is a sin, a girl in the class blurted out "Is that because it's so salty?" SHOCK and AWE ensued. In another class the Priest was trying to tell us about the life giving of God stating that "All orgasms are a gift from God" before he recalled what he said I retorted (I'm not making this up folks), "You bet your ass they are!" wrong on so many fronts...

Anyone remember talking with the wise old neighbor on their front porch? Anyone recall the smell of summer rain and the lack of air-conditioning? How about skinned knees after playing baseball in the street and the old lady who would take the ball because you hit a home run over her house? Damn if I want to go back.

I too am having one hellova time, I've not dated for years, I drink too much and the thought of her in hell scares the crap out of me. I had a dream last night that I hope to hold onto. I've been thinking of her for years, praying for her, hoping to see her (eventually) in Heaven. Last night, as I was thinking of "doing the deed".and thus the dream begins... I was in the church, watching all those who love me, mournig for my passing....I thought how wonderful that so many cared for me...then a voice told me, this is hell...look at all you have hurt, this is what you have for eternity...every day, looking at the hurt..the sadness... I know that this thread has almost worn itself out but, I've personal experience with a girl who did commit suicide. We were supposed to go on another date the day she was found. She was very ill and didn't want to go through a long series of treatments (and apparently put her loved ones through it as well). Sadly, the memorial for her was packed to the rafters with people who loved her. The grief was so palpable that even to this day I remember her, and sometimes curse the decision she made. I know that some may see suicide as an option, but try to get help if the bottom has fallen out. The survivor guilt can last so long that it can effect the lives of those you may think you are sparing.
