Is there an assumed commitment between 2 people dating, once they've had sex?
Posted: 8/12/2007 10:33:41 PM
Having sex means I'm emotionally ,spiritually, physically , committing myself--I'm not into this sleeping around business either .How can you commit yourself to another person if you're still seeing other people after the two of you have decided to take this step ? I don't understand some people's mentalty of " what is right and wrong "

Why are older women not into younger guys???
Posted: 7/16/2007 9:01:50 PM
I don't mind dating someone thati s a little younger than me but if it's over 10 years than hey sorry you're tooooooo young and there is nothing in common as far as I'm concerned . There's got to be some kind of common base here---otherwise it's like you 're too far removed in experiences and happenings age group wise to relate to each other and I think that's important.

Is visual attraction what draws and keeps our attention?
Posted: 7/16/2007 8:44:12 PM
Here , here , I agree with unzippedpassion !! Besides physical attraction is in the eyes of the beholder . I've had men say they they are good looking but sorry not to me ---nice looking but that's it. And it's the personality that counts the most --not just your picture but your bio that you post about yourself that tells a bit about yourself that attracts responses from others on the system ,right ????????

Height/Size Contridiction?
Posted: 7/16/2007 8:32:25 PM
It's a known fact and a study was done on it many , many years ago ( don't go asking me how many 'cause I don't remember) A man is attracted to certain features and build/height just the same as a woman is ---you are basically looking for someone that in height/weight/build/personality reminds you of your mother or father . This is the type of person you are going to be attracted to and want to go out with /have a relationship with ,ect.

Sleep Paralysis
Posted: 7/14/2007 11:23:35 PM
It's scarey having a bad dream in technicolour so to speak and you feel like you're awake and not sleeping than the dream starts to get out of control and you feel like you can't get out of it and you can't wake up and you can't run away or move or scream . You're stuck in limbo fighting to wake up -move scream anything to get away from what's happening . And you know the srange thing is the dream will quickly disappear from my memory when I am fully awake leaving me only with the memory of something bad/scarey happeniong and my inability to move/wake up /scream

Has anyone else taken Apple cider vinegar & felt great?
Posted: 7/14/2007 10:59:23 PM
luvshugeboobs----1-2 tblsp. honey in a small amount of hot water ,add 2 tsp. aqpplecider vinegar ,preferably organic with the mother in it as this is more nutritional and you're doing this for the nutrion right ? than fill your glass up the rest of the way with hot or warm or cold water ---your choise . This drink is very high in potassium also included are phosphorus , natural organic sodium , magnesium , sulphur , iron , copper , natural organic flourine , silicon and other trace minerals (got this info from my book on The miracles of Apple cider Vinegar by Paul C. Bragg )

I cant stop eating at night!!!! ARGGGGGHHHH
Posted: 7/11/2007 8:42:41 PM
re milk --stonecrow you obviously haven't heard about lactose intolerance in people ? Not just adults, younger people also suffer from this so the milk substitutes are a good suggestion . so is the melantonin ---I use it myself though even that doesn't always help either and eating late at night is the worst thing to do if you want to lose weight as your body has to split it's functions of doing it's nightly housecleaning to now also trying to digest and break-down what you ate before going to bed . That's why there are a lot of over-weight problems in people showing up these days .It's not just what you eat or how much you exercize but also what you eat and when you eat it . The extra fats in the diet is a real good suggestion .

Anxiety and being worried too much
Posted: 7/11/2007 7:45:47 PM
There's lot's of reason's for us going through stress. I do it off and on .Supplimentation helps. There are many healthy suppliments that can help that you can get at a health food store.B vitamin combinations , homeopathic remedies , valarian(an Herb) which works real well . Winter depression can be caused by a lack of sunlight which a high percentage of the population suffers from. This can be helped by buying one of the lite books that supply a "sun " replacement therapy that really works well. As for medications I don't beleive in them . They do not CURE the problem nor HEAL the problem that is occurring in your body .You need to get to the root of the problem and take it from there . The meditation is a good thing , so is relaxing forms of exercize but sometimes this is not enough . I know I went through the doctor /medication merry-go-round years and years ago and the only thing it did was make me fight it and hate it for it only masked what was wrong it didn't heal it .Doctors and medications don't heal the problem --- only your body can do that with you helping it out .

ANIMAL BASED DIET GOOD FOR YOUR BODY OR BAD ?
Posted: 7/11/2007 7:27:22 PM
Some of us can subsist on a vegetarian diet and some of us can't . I happen to agree with some of what Dr. Peter J.D. Adamo has to say in Eat Right For your Blood type -- everyone is different inside and out and our needs and requirements are all different .If we were all the same and did/ate the same in this world ----it would be a very boring world to live in . I'm vegan and I'm proud of it but I don't expect others to be also .That's what makes everyone so different and unique !

pure organic MSM suppliment. Clears up your skin , softens it . injest it and also put it on your skin where you are having problems. Research it on the internet. I think you'll find it interesting.

Hemp Protein Powder Use/Weight-Loss?
Posted: 7/10/2007 8:29:29 PM
chia is good as is salba which is a white color of chia (from the mint family) They are an excellent source of protien , vitamins , minerals and good for giving you energy and get up and go . Take a tblsp. of chia -salba and 1/2 cup water, soak the seeds for about 1/2 or longer and drink this or mix it in your smoothy , soup , cereal , salad , casserole , baking , whatever. It goes with any thing.I like taking my soaked chia and putting it in the blender with sime cut up fruit like peaches and blending it up . I now have a nice 'peach' pudding .If it's not as thick as you would like than just add a little more chia/ salba and let sit for about 1/2 hour and than eat and enjoy. A sweetener can be added if it isn't sweet enough for you.

It's that and than some--good for digestive health , immune system , general energy levels. Know why because it helps to alkalyse your body's ph which a lot of the times can get too acidic due to the foods we eat and exercise also causes this so you need to alkalize your body after exersizing or after working long hours and you feel draggy try the apple cider vinegar and honey in water for a quick pick me up.

Active and young, but can't slim down! Help!
Posted: 7/10/2007 8:05:35 PM
Well the best things to do are cut out the wheat products especially bread and sweet desserts like cake, cookies , pies ect. Cut out the sugar ,try to cut out the food you buy in a package and if you can't do that than read the ingredients and don't buy anything with any kind of sugar in it this includes any sucrose , dextrose, fructose ,ect. and something you may want to research on the internet is ----Super amino acids suppliment by SON FORMULA . Works great kills the cravings. Also try to keep your body on a more alkalyn level. Organic sulphur is good for this (MSM ) Try to find a good pure MSM if you deside to try this out and research it on the internet and find out more about it there first before you start taking anything whether it be a suppliment or medication or what ever so you know the pluses and minuses of the product and so you also know how the product works and what other people have to say about it.

Lactic Acid Build up?
Posted: 7/10/2007 7:54:51 PM
When you do any kind of strenuos activity you are creating an acidic responce in the body --lactic acid in the joints. An easy way to counter-act this is to keep your body at an alkaline balance. After a workout or stenuos activity try a glass of water with 1-2 teaspoons of honey added to 1 tablespoon of applecider vinegar ( organic best) .For a long term day to day program try taking organic sulphur ( MSM ) get a good pure source of organig MSM in powder or capsule form . I found that the best one that I've tryed so far are the capsules -- NAtural Facters . I'm sure there are other good sources out there also.

No Appetite at all............odd
Posted: 7/10/2007 7:47:54 PM
Some people need to only eat once a day to sustain themselves and give their body nourishment. And a lot of the times your body is telling you it needs a rest to catch up on it's house-cleaning .Think of your body as a well tuned car. You keep your car in good condition and give it tune - ups and oil changes to keep it in good running condition .So what do you do for your body to keep it running well for you ? You need to eat the right foods and include fresh fruits and vegies with your diet and you need to sometimes for a day or two give your body a rest from eating and just drink plenty of fluids so it can fine tune itself and do the housecleaning it needs to do . your body is forever building and tearing itself down ,blood, tissue, bone, organs ,you name it plus it has to work hard at flushing out the toxins from the excess debree from your body building and tearing itself down , from the air you breath , the chemicals in your food you injest with your food , any medications you may take , etc. Just think of how hard your body and your liver in particular are 24/7 working for you to keep you on your feet. It's simply amazing how are bodys keep us going.

want to eat protein shakes but can't drink milk
Posted: 7/10/2007 7:25:54 PM
Milk substitutes ----nut milks eg.---sesame , almond , walnut ,or oatmeal milk or soya milk or good old juice . recipe for making your own almond milk. 1 cup almonds soaked in water for 6-8 hours or overnight . drain off water they are soaking in put nuts in blender fill blender approx. 3/4 with water --filtered water best blend till fine and water is milky colour. Strain milk through cheese cloth spread over a fine strainer or 2 fine strainers put one on top of the other .Squeeze out excess milk by gathering up all the sides of the cheesecloth and wringing the 'bag'. Take pulp put back in blender with 3/4 full of filtered water again and blend again for a few seconds till milky colour again . Strain this too as you did the first batch . This homemade 'milk' can be sweetened with a little bit of honey and you can even add a little bit of vanilla extract to it for the vanilla flavour if you want . Nice substitute calcium replacer for those who still want something that is similar to milk .You can use this also on your cereal in the morning if you're into eating that kind of thing that is.

raw / live food diet.....

I've been on a "high" raw diet for about 5 years now .What I mean by that is fresh fruits , fresh vegies , some sprouts , nuts , seeds , the occassional baked nut pate , herbs which are probably dried in an unraw manner , honey for sweetener , tamari sauce fro seasoning sometimes, young coconuts , and my yummy chia seeds ---just love them and even make a fruit type pudding with them and I love my diet and am doing well with it .i also take a super amino acid suppliment and organic sulphur suppliment .

Two biggest things to cut out of the diet if you wish to lose weight and to keep it off --- cut out all wheat products ( especially bread) and sugar. Also stay away from the packaged foods. They"re not food --they"re garbage calories looking for a place to happen--on your body.

re talksalot02---------your colon is telling you you need a cleaning ,that"s why you get lots of gas from the fibre.Bet you can't eat very much in the way of fresh fruits or vegies without suffering from lots of gas or diarhea too ! Been there done that and I don't get the gas or diarhea problem any more thanks to the colonic cleansing and no you don't have to take time off or stop eating to do so either.

Craving Fat?
Posted: 7/10/2007 2:35:39 PM
Try MSM it is an organic form of sulphur suppliment and works real well for cravings .I had the same problem with a fat craving I had and I was going over-board eating nuts.MSM also works well on other food cravings too.I recommend the Natural Factors pure MSM as I found that this paticular one worked the best for me ( must be the way they process it ? ) I take 2--- 3 x a day ,you can take more if you need apparently it's not toxic or any other kind a problem if you take a high amount of it. Check it out on the internet for more info. You could also buy pure MSM powder through the internet and take that instead.
