Death For Man Who Killed Young Boy
Posted: 8/27/2008 10:22:46 PM
Solution for people having to pull the switch and getting negatively affected - "we" don't have to kill him.

Man vs lion, but to make it fair, arm him with a(soft) nerf ball.

There are also many jobs not suitable for "normal" people that this guy would be a shoe-in for(ex. - pre-Humvee IED inspector, decoy..etc) .

See?

Clear conscience.

Electric cars

Biodiesel cars! - can be made from algae eating sewage - waste product of making this fuel = oxygen.

Toyota Prius pollutes the earth more than a Hummer(after 300,000 miles) before it's even made.(mining of nickel for the batteries produces huge acid rain clouds) - not saying batteries are all bad, but there are negatives to every side of the story.

Much of Europe(40%) runs on Diesel - they have a non-hybrid 1.3 turbodiesel fiat that gets 65 city/78hwy -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQ7bA66kDpQ

"Award winning car with the award winning 1.3 litre turbo diesel engine combined with common rail and multijet injection technology, offers excellent performance and outstanding fuel economy. A truly fantastic powerful engine in a compact yet spacious car that handles superbly and not fogetting up to 78 MPG with only 114g of C02 per kilometre"

The US has been in the dark on these wonderful vehicles for a long time....

Normally I'm big on compassion.

But not in this case.

I feel the same way - I just don't see how people think it's fair to let an animal like that free....actually, less than an animal and more of a monster, an old, sickly, withering monster who should(I guess) get health care but never be free as long as it lives.

made a terrible mistake by f&&king these other guys ...
Posted: 6/20/2008 8:59:07 PM
First of all, let me make this clear. If a guy bragged about my current girlfriend having sex with him and them flicked me off, I hope it would take every bone in my body not to punch him as hard in the face as I possibly could

.. but I may turn out to be too nice of a guy for that kind of thing.

I pray to God I wouldn't be though!

To all the women mocking her bf, saying he's a baby - I hope you guys are put in the exact situation, except in reverse.

Then we'll see some different thoughts on this subject.

Much Love,

Chris

An intelligent driver is constantly reminded of the necessity of driving safely and defensively.

A truck owner embodies the opposite logic .

I find your blanket statements offensive, foolish, and overtly self-righteous.

I use a compact truck that gets great fuel mileage, drive safely, and I enjoy it every bit as much as you enjoy your car.

Please, tell me in some logical manner, how you are a "better" human being than me.

There happen to be a lot more idiotic PickUp owners in the USA than Lambo owners
so I picked on them first. It's easy because they don't read well and they have no sense of logic.

Yeah, but the ones that do can see what you are up to, and are completely calling you out on it while you seemingly become more and more ignorant and offensive.

I've also met an shook hands with a lot of vets, from various countries, and that's always a thrill.

I've also read enough military blogs to tell me that some of the best and brightest people out there are wearing uniforms - and serving their countries. I nearly signed up myself, and the only thing stopping me now is my age.

If you have a problem with wars, don't blame the soldier - blame the men that sent them there.

No matter what you think about the war, never disrespect the warrior.

And calling them, as a group, terrorists.....is doing exactly that.

I'd have to agree with that also, and I don't even know why or what we are doing over there.

Yeah, Topgear, I was talking about the tractor company=)

Sorry about the redneck comment, but what I meant is it's kinda ridiculous to drive such a huge gas guzzling vehicle around for single human transport, as well as it is to drive a huge car with 26 inch rims that weigh almost 100 pounds( increasing braking distance, decreasing mileage, and wearing out parts(and riding like crap) )

I said it in a former post, but there are diesel cars in europe that get 78mpg. The US is just behind the times.

Put yard waste in your trunk, things that smell like they have been fishing all day, a small boat, scrap metal, dirty tools, hydraulic jacks, 8X10 bass guitar speaker cabinets.....no thanks - I did the car thing forever and it's much easier to do these things with a small truck.

Plus, I can help family members out a lot(helping them move things that are way to big for a car), so it makes me feel more useful.

I drive a small '95 2wd 4cyl Ranger stick shift that gets almost 30mpg average - it's barely over 80hp, and if the big three had any sense whatsoever, they would make a small turbodiesel truck that gets over 40mpg average and have much better efficiency and towing capacity - it's too bad a company from India named Mahindra is going to be the first small truck in the northeast US instead, starting '09.

I used to drive nothing but cars, but I work in a shop, go fishing a lot, help people move things all the time, and love being just a bit higher up so I can see things on the road better...I love my little "I think I can" truck.

I totally agree on the huge ridiculous redneck-mobiles that cover up the road around my home in central FL - many of them are just commuter vehicles, and are finally starting to realize how ridiculous it is to have one for those purposes.

Algae-Based Biodiesel.

http://www.unh.edu/p2/biodiesel/article_alge.html
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Algaculture

There are small cars in Europe that run off of Diesel that get 78MPG on the highway, and 65MPG city - even with our nearly $1.00 more for diesel prices, that's a good deal.

what if your soul mate is NOT financial stable
Posted: 4/13/2008 10:12:53 PM
This is easy - for some people, "soulmate" means a lot of money and very good looks.(shallow people)

For others, it means a little less money(but responsible with it), attraction of some sort, a "connection", and love.("real" people)

Still, for others it means "enough to get by", attraction of some sort, a definite "connection" to each other, and love.(these people also exist in real life)

Even though the last group of people I mentioned make way less than the first, they have a lot more going for them. The middle group probably represents what most of the people here are really looking for...so nobodies really wrong here.

If I see a girl who is looking for someone who is already "financially stable", I usually don't bother trying to talk to them - their mind is already made up.
I think they are missing a great catch in the long run in some instances, but I understand why they say it.

Found out the person I was casually seeing was a sex offender!
Posted: 3/11/2008 6:34:02 PM

Haven't had that experience, thank god (!) but I did find out that a man I was talking to on here had a previous conviction for domestic violence...Whew...he actually admitted it to me amazingly enough!

How was he violent?

With the wife and kids?

I had an adjudication withheld on a domestic violence charge, and I felt I was being a hero to a small child - granted, things would not be the same a 2nd time around(I would just call the police!), but I did what I felt was right in the situation - defending a child(my nephew) from an abusive parent(my sister, who eventually lost custody of both children, and diagnosed as bipolar and suicidal).

Unfortunately, I lost the ability to fight my case after showing up with her to the state attorney's office when I had a restriction put on me(I was arrested a 2nd time with no bail - my family had to hire a lawyer to get me out)...after all, I really was defending myself - I blocked and countered, and then felt bad after making contact, and ap0logized..the officer on the scene told my mother that if it wasn't for me apologizing, it would have been her being arrested.

All of my family and good friends know about this, and understand that I was trying to save my nephew from being abused...I lost my day in court b/c I was negligent by going to the state attorney's office with her after the state put a restriction on me - after 9 months of probation, and telling my officer "I am the victim", and him wanting to burn me for it, my lawyer was finally able to state my case.

The only lesson I learned from this is to NOT trust our state's judicial system.

Yes, I could have made better decisions, but at the time, it seemed like the only logical choice - I don't put my head down anymore when talking about this, because I truly believe I was doing "the right thing" at the time, and people actually commend me for it.

I'm one of the most sincere people you could ever meet, but I feel like people can just judge me on this and say "oh look, he is a woman abuser!"

Anyway, this thread reminded me of this past ordeal in my life, and how hard it was for me.

Tiger attack victim was drinking, admitted taunting
Posted: 2/23/2008 8:03:55 PM

Being mauled to death by a tiger is a just punishment for taunting the animal? What if it was your son or daughter? I can't believe some of the responses i have read in this thread. Those kids did not deserved to die. As far as who was at fault here..it was the Zoo. How can you come to any other conclusion? That animal should not have been able to leap the wall to get to ANYBODY.

We should send Rapists, Terrorists, Serial Killers, and Child Pornographers to this zoo also - it only seems fair. If some kids can justifiably be killed for wrongly teasing a tiger, then it makes it unfair to the really evil people that literally get away with murder...they should have a chance also!

We can make this zoo into something yet!

(btw, no tigers will be harmed - the inmates will be armed with only a "toga".)

I agree with you, and although you most likely don't believe me, I get just as upset when I see people disturbing nature - I'm a lover of nature and the outdoors, and try my best to leave only footprints.

My point was basically the "Good! Glad he was killed in such a nasty way!" attitude that some people seem to have on here.

It reminds me of the Pharisees in the Bible, and I find it utterly disgusting and repulsive.

All I want to say is that it was pretty stupid to tease a tiger, but I truly believe the zoo is responsible for the safety of humans(even ones that aren't particularly bright) AND the animals.

They failed in both cases...even BEFORE this event happened - the girl who fed Tatiana almost lost her life due to park negligence also, it seems.

Jumping into an animal's cage would be the visitor's fault if the animal couldn't escape by the same means, though. There is an alligator/crocodile exhibit in the zoo in my area, and if you really wanted to, you could probably climb the fence and jump in - if I thought it was possible for them to get out though, I would never take my nephews there, no matter how mad a stupid human being made the animals - no excuse!

Your posts almost make it sound like you are happy a kid lost his life, just because he "might" have been doing something stupid, and really not THAT bad.

this is the reason i only taunt the weak and small animals when i go to the zoo...
i/e, flamingos, spider monkeys, prarie dogs, lizards, occasional ant eater, etc.

Haha, best post on this thread!

In all seriousness, though:

It sucks the Animal had to be put down.

It sucks for the poor kid who was ignorant and lost his life.

It sucks the zoo is not keeping people safe.

It also sucks that people are so fervently happy to see another human being die, b/c he made a poor, misguided decision.

I'm sure nobody here did anything stupid in their teenage years...

I will tell you why because all most of the ladys are looking for boy toys, A women of say 45 says she is looking for some one between the age of 35 and 47 so does that tell why we are chating with people alot younger. Some one might be 44 and put looking for someone under 49 so thier is an opening for a 25 years old

Exactly, it's the same way the other way around - I'm 30 and have a lot of 55 year olds checking out my profile - some of them are definately old enough to be my mother.

Is it that hard to delete an email, and block a user if they keep emailing you?

Because they prefer to screw 20 somethings.

And they are hoping that you are too young and dumb to know the answers to the above questions. Men that age that prefer to do young always prefer that they are also dumb.

I'm sure there are women who are the same way - not all 40 year olds looking for a 29 year old have the same thinking process as that.

I would be perfectly willing to date a 23 year old as well as a 33 year old.

Biodiesel and Ethanol - they act the most like fossil fuels, pollute way less, and are completely renewable.

They've already proven that a Toyota Prius does more damage to the environment than a Hummer.

How?

Waste from producing the battery cells - from mining the nickel.
