Class action against Yahoo Personals and Match.com for fraud
Posted: 3/19/2008 3:12:00 PM
There is something else that just occured to me. ...

I have never been on Yahoo Personals, but evey time I log off from this site, I get an invitation from Yahoo Personals to "check out my current matches".

I do have a yahoo email address. Do you think they have tagged my searches? I'm not sure I like that idea.

Anyone else have the same experience?

A question about Noton Internet Security 2007

Another smart way to limit infections is to run your browser as a "non admin", limiting the ability of spyware, etc to be installed.

Hi Anti-Elvis: I have added your comment above. How do you do this?

Annoying clicking noise every 10 seconds

I suspect that annoying clicking noise is someone trying to instant message you, since they can see that you are on line.

Problems with install

Everyone is probably giving you very good advice, but let me give you the best advice of all..

Email AVG, copy and paste the message that you are recieving, into the email, and ask them what the problem is and how to fix it. I bet within 24 hours, you will receive the best answer of all, especially if you tell them you will need a refund since you can't install their software.

Good luck...

Refilled ink cartridges
Posted: 3/17/2008 10:39:07 PM
Hi Sprite 57

I had the same problem with refill cartridges purchased on ebay. Sounds like you may have purchased from the same seller as I did.

Go back to the site and check the seller's feedback to see if anyone else has had the same problem, and then file a dispute with eBay. You only have 45 days from the date of purchase to do so or you won't be able to get your money back. Hopefully, you used Paypal for the transaction.

I would also email the seller one more time, and request your money back - keep all of your email communication, because ebay will ask for contact proof.

There are some really great sellers on ebay, but there are also some really bad ones. These are the ones ebay is trying to get rid of. Too many people just let it go, thinking as you do, that you have lost your money, or think that you will get negative feedback by complaining. Ebay has new rules, just in effect this month. They want you to complain - that's the only way they know who is scamming the public.

I have been a seller on ebay for 4 years. The fact that the seller told you, up front, to ignore the messages, is a clear sign that this must be happening to a lot of his/her customers. Tell ebay!!!

Hope this was of some help to you.
