Friends and social status

So ladies, would you equate a guy's social status to the number of friends he has? I've lost a lot of friends due to them going to different schools and simply getting out of touch.
Haven't met many new people to replace them. So now I only have 2 really close friends. Personally, I prefer quality over quantity, but I want to hear your opinions (guys too).

Men with no car or license???

I got my license a few years ago and never driven since I got it. Insurance and gas is freaking expensive here in SF. Plus, there public transportation that takes you every where you need to go. I'll start driving again probably a few years into the future, but I'll still prefer the bus.

Ok, I'll take out the financial part. But if I put in the hiking, bicycling part, I'll just be lying. I don't even know how to ride a bike

Just lay it on me; anything to improve. Suggestions for a new header would be great too cause I know mine sucks. I think I may come off as too boring/old. And blah blah blah, just to fill out the letters requirement.

What if it's only a few years difference, say +- 2 to 3 years. A lot of women say that younger guys are immature and want older guys. By the same logic, the guy would think the girl is immature.

Women and "traveling"

Is it just or me or do a lot of girls says that they're match needs to like traveling in their profile? What do they mean? Travel to work, home, across the city, state, country, what? If a lot of people are like me, we don't have time for the latter few.
