What's the Deal With Rings on That Finger When You Aren't Engaged/Married?
Posted: 8/26/2007 12:11:33 AM
I wear rings on my wedding ring finger. I just ike the ring, however it looks nothing like what an engagement or wedding band would look like. I dont think it should really matter if you wear it or not. If the guy is really interested in you he can easily ask, never hurts to ask.

What are the dumbest things you've done as a kid?
Posted: 8/20/2007 10:23:16 PM
I used to eat soil, by the handfulls. lol. Funny enough I am studying plant sciences now. We all joke that the nutrients is what made me so tall now.

Once I blind folded my sister and made her walk off of this ledge, it was hilarious.

I also once chipped my sisters tooth with a crystal vase.

Once riding my bike up my slightly inclined driveway I decided to be Miss. Dramatic and pretend I was riding up a huge mounatin. Anyway I lost my balance and fell over - the handle bar fell onto my arm and broke it. Worst part was that mom didn't believe me that it was broken so I sat around for a few days with a broken arm.

Once I was in the water. There was this ladder that had been in the water for some time so there were corals and barnicles on it. I was lifting the ladder to my older cousin so we could make an easier way to get in and out of the water from the dock. The ladder fell and the barnicles cut my leg up. Not fun

Once my father was jokingly chasing my around the kitchen around the islander. I eventuallly slipped and fell right into a clay pot and cut my eyebrow open. Stitches - yey.

Appetizer Competition Party - looking for recipe suggestions
Posted: 8/17/2007 10:28:54 PM
I forgot another one.

I don't know exact measurements.

Meatballs:

Small jar of Apricot Jam (I use smuckers)
Jar of tomatoe sauce (I use prego)
Package of frozen meat balls

throw it all in a pot, and warm it up til the meatballs are heated and done. It is better to use a crock pot for it, makes the flavors better.

Hot Crab Dip
(Very easy, and very yummy!)

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup medium green onions, thinly sliced
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoons sugar
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
1 can (6 ounces) crabmeat, drained, cartilage removed and flaked (15% leg meat)
Cayenne pepper (optional)

1. Heat oven to 375°F. Mix all ingredients except crabmeat and crackers in medium bowl until well blended. Stir in crabmeat.
2. Spread crabmeat mixture in ungreased pie plate, 9x1 1/4 inches, or shallow 1-quart casserole. Sprinkle lightly with cayenne pepper.
3. Bake uncovered 15 to 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Serve with crackers or vegetables (Carrots and celery).

What flavour am I?
Posted: 8/16/2007 6:07:41 PM
Hmmm... Tastes like Chicken.

Am I chicken? Am I a frog? Am I human? All unfamiliar meats taste like chicken, and that's what I am, an unfamiliar meat.

What is your favorite travel destination?
Posted: 8/16/2007 5:03:29 PM
I love Sao Miguel, Azores.

It is so beautiful there, a lot of old charm. The produce is so fresh.
Going in the summer is amazing. Large hydrangeas grow along the roadsides. Lots of small fishing villages. Very very green, and great little mountains for lovely views.

What do you look for in a beach?
Posted: 8/16/2007 4:58:43 PM
I look for clear water and clean sand. Preferable a lighter color. I don't like really strong waves and rip tides, but a nice gentle one is good.

I am from Bermuda so I get that luxury :D
