Clothes on or Clothes Off
Posted:

It depends....If I'm having sex in public, I prefer to leave some clothes on. If I'm having sex in private, it all comes off.
Though there have been times when a partner asked me to leave a little of my leather on.

As a musician, I think these toys suck. I have a 12 year old nephew that we bought a real guitar for. Instead of learning to play guitar, he just plays with these computer toys.
I would much rather play one of my guitars than play some computer toy.

Women's Sustenance and Men Done In Moments
Posted:

Leeanne, I have used Tantra and various other things...
I am not speaking personally as of this time, but I have been in such situations in the past.
Yes, I've used my mouth and various other parts of my body. I am not referring to a "just sex" relationship.
When I am in a relationship, I want to be with someone who understands a woman's body and is not sexually selfish, like so many men seem to be.

When it comes to sex, women can stay hot, wet, turned on and men orgasm and are done . How many women have been disappointed because he's trhough so quickly and just rolls over and is done for the next - well, too long.
Have any of the men tried those 'drugs' to keep his erection longer? Or maybe just tried****rings to keep him up...
How does a woman make suggestions without insulting her man?

He Won't Seem To Go Away
Posted:
4/14/2008 12:36:57 PM
I met someone on this site who I thought was interesting. We started to meet via IM.
He seemed interested at first, but all he seemed to want to do is play some sort of game involving his fantasy.
I stopped contacting him and acknowledging him when he tried to contact me.
He just wouldn't leave me alone. I told him I don't have time for games, but he just got rude. I told him he can be angry with me, but he verbally attacked me using obscene language. Please tell me how to make him go away and leave me alone.

The Things People Talk About When They Think No One Is Listening.
Posted:
2/25/2008 4:43:44 PM
The issue is not what people talk about when they think no one is listening. The really sad issue is that people no longer care who is listening.
I think the problem is that the media constantly throws these kinds of conversations at us, indicating to so many that it doesn't matter what you say or how you speak in public. All you have to do is go see a movie - ney, turn on a television show.
Stand on line at the grocery store and look at the magazines in the stands.
What used to be in Playboy is now in any typical magazine or television show. So it is now nothing to have those kinds of conversations in public or use vile language in common conversation.

Question for apartment dwelling guitar players
Posted:
2/19/2008 11:31:06 AM
I live in apartment and I play. I hear everything that goes on in the hall way and the music in the lobby and the apartments upstairs. I hear the doors slamming. So, any body in my building who wants to complain about my guitar playing can go to hell.
I do know people who rent lofts to practice. I won't do that til a band can be pulled together.
I do own six guitars - one is an A/E and I have two electric guitars ( one in really bad shape). I can plug in my A/E. I have used head phones, but I prefer not. I've played here in my apartment and I can still hear the conversations in the hall way and the doors slamming. So anyone in my building who has anything to say about my playing can go scr^* themselves.

My dear OP, if you haven't noticed yet, most people on this site will repeat themselves and others - over and over and over and over again.
You can't take most of the forums seriously or you will find that your brain is turning to mush.
I hate to say it, but most of the women AND men completely lack in common sense.
This is why I dropped out of sight for several months from this site ---- I got so bored seeing the same stupid things repeatedly. Today I came back on this dating site only to find mostly the same ridiculous things all over again.
And I just don't care if that sounds mean because it is the absolute truth!

What kind of guitar strings do you use?
Posted:
2/18/2008 3:38:14 PM
I have six guitars, so it depends on the guitar. I use D'Addarios for my classical. As for all my other guitars, it depends on which string breaks and when and what strings I have around. If I need a whole new set I'll buy either D'Addarios or Ernie Balls...which ever is less expensive at any given time. If one of my guitars needs a whole new set, I might buy light guage or medium guage, silver wound.
There are other factors, of course...where I buy strings. I prefer a place on 14th street in Manhattan than those (uhemmmm) on 48th street.

Not saying they are in a relationship
Posted:
10/16/2007 3:46:54 PM
I am so tired of this subject being brought up in so many different ways.
Once and for all - get over yourself. Just because someone is dating or in a relationship doesn't mean that person will delete his/her profile. And certainly it should not be made mandatory to delete one's profile just because he/she is dating.
No one should be forced in any way at all to delete profile. What if, after a few dates, the relationship doesn't work out. Should person have to re-write a whole new profile?
This is all so much crap.
You are NOT stupid!
Maybe you are just annoyed because the person you wrote to just wanted to be friends. There are plenty of people on this site looking for someone to be friends with.
The only thing on this site that should be mandatory is obscenity and vulgarity.

Is sex better when it's taboo? Does breaking a commandment make it hotter?

I don't believe that anything sexual is taboo. I also don't believe that any kind of sexual activity is a sin. If the people involved know what they are doing, it should be HOT!

Don't wait til November. Go NOW. Find out what's going on with your body. No sex until you find out what's [might] wrong. I don't know about you, but I'd want to know ASAP.

Eric I agree. Also, he is only 28. I am 40 and if I kept that attitude, or anyone else did, we would all be lonely.
Instead of deleting everything, he should have had the attitude that these women that he wrote to aren't good enough for him. Gotta keep taking those chances!!!! There are thousands of people on this site every day.

Horrible Commercials...

I hate hate hate the commercial for some sort of birth control in which a bunch of women are kicking at something and some woman is singing in the background the Twisted Sister song WE'RE NOT GONNA TAKE IT........
Also, hate commercials about yeast infections.
My biggest pet peave though is a particular commercial for some stupid tv show in which a group of men are asked if they are men or "wuss"es. The word "wuss" is an obscene word taken from the words Woman and Pu^^y. I'd love to have this commercial stopped because it is degrading to women and to any man who has ever had a fear or shown emotion.

Rock and Roll
Posted:
10/6/2007 7:06:38 PM
Unfortunately, concerts - rock n roll, classical, etc. - in the US have become so expensive that one would have to save up for a year for a pair of tickets to see a rock n roll show.
The only shows I get to see are at clubs. Sometimes there is a cover charge and sometimes not. If I'm lucky I can see a jazz or blues band in the West Village. Other times I might get to see rock or rock n roll shows on the upper east side or by Union Square.
But I can no longer afford to see a band play at MSG or Giant Stadium or Radio City or the Beacon.
It is cheaper to purchase a dvd of a concert or to watch videos on television. Of course, I'd love to be able to see a live concert. However, spending $80-$100 on a pair of tickets is just out of my league.

Objectification,Sex, and Society
Posted:
10/6/2007 1:31:16 PM
I happen to agree with you. However, I do remember being thrown off this site for commenting on a woman's picture.
Many women believe that the way to a man's heart is through his sexuality. If a woman wants to show it all off, she should be on some other site. Nope, I'm not supposed to say that. A woman can have a picture of herself in a teeny weeny bikini or her underwear on this site.
It is unfortunate that women's clothes entail low cut shirts and short skirts. We are taught by the media, the garment makers, and every where else that we should look like what hookers used to look like. It is true that society, media tells us that women should be objectified.
I was watching a television show in which 2 partners were looking for a "perp". The male partner is in a full suit with tie. The female partner is in sleeveless, v-neck shirt and pants.

Must not do drugs....?
Posted:
10/6/2007 12:53:19 PM
Believe me! I've seen enough damage caused by cocaine, crack, and heroin. As I've stated in another post on another thread, my brother's IQ was at the top of the scale. However, he chose to destroy his life with drugs. He started with grass at age 11 and did not ever really stop doing blow and heroin and grass and nicotine and caffeine til the day he died.
Then again, I had a good friend who had cancer. Between his chemo and radiation treatments, he was always nauseus and couldn't eat. The only thing that kept him from constantly being sick was a little grass.
So, I do believe that marijuana has its medicinal uses and should be considered a controlled substance that could be subscribed by doctors.
When I indicate that "must not do drugs", I do that because I have seen too many people destroy themselves with blow, heroin, crack, PCP, etc. -- including my brother.

Can I put a love spell on someone?
Posted:

Lulu, it is inappropriate to cast a love spell. If he does not love you, you cannot make him with a spell. Love spells only work on those who are already full of love for each other.
Why do you even want to cast a love spell? If he does not love you, a love spell will not and cannot work.

My sister and I don't really get along. We don't trust each other and we are EXTREMELY different from each other even though we are only 14 months apart. She is older than me.
I am sort of close to my younger brother. I trust him. He is almost 6 years younger than me. However, he is usually very busy with his work. He also is getting married in Chicago in less than a year. He and his "intended" are also moving in to a new home in just a few days.
I was never very close with my older brother who passed away. He was about 31/2 years older than me. There were times when we were sort of close and talked about things that we would never tell anyone else. We could talk about music, drugs, socio-politics.
I think that my sister, like my older brother was, is filled with anger and resentment. Like my older brother, my sister is physically, emotionally and psychologically ill. I knew if I didn't get help, I'd end up sick like them.

Good books

I agree that Angels And Demons would have made a much better movie. It was a great book!!! It is much more visual than Da Vinci Code.
I did not read Deception Point but I didn't like Digital Fortress.
I love Nelson DeMille. I have read every one of his books to date. You should read UP COUNTRY, NIGHT FALL,, WORD OF HONOR and definitely read CATHEDRAL. The way DeMille writes, you just don't know how things will end until like the last 3 pages. CATHEDRAL just blew my mind.
If you like historical fiction, you should read TRINITY then REDEMPTION by Leon Uris.

verygreeneyes, you are NOT the only woman on the planet who does not own a vibrator.
As for the question at hand (so to speak), instead of just having sex with anyone I'd rather fantasize and use my own fingers and masturbate til I cum and that's that.
Though it would be a lie to say that I have not had 1 or 2(3?) one night stands.

Who Does All The Work In Bed?
Posted:
10/3/2007 3:54:01 PM
I'm never lazy in bed (or on the floor, or...well, wherever). I haven't had an intimate relationship in a while (too darn long!), but I have been told by partners that I am wild.
There are times when I just have to be on top. I feel the need to touch my lover all over and taste EVERY part...
Of course, I also enjoy being submissive. That is to say that I enjoy submitting to my lover's demands and desires.
So, OP, maybe you are experiencing sex and intimacy with the wrong women. You need to be with women who are more sensual and sexual and involved in said activity.
Of course, it is possible that you don't know what you're doing so the women you are with get bored and, as result, become lazy.

Answer to no. 1 - No, you did not expect too much at all!
No 2 answer - What grown man can't talk about sex? If he cannot talk about an important issue such as condom use, he is not mature enough to have a sexual relationship. Get rid of this person and find yourself someone who is mature enough to talk with you candidly.
As for your third question, you were not being rude in any way at all.
I happen to always have condoms if there is any chance at all that a relationship becomes intimate. If the condoms are getting old due to lack of use, they get tossed and new condoms are purchased. Hun, no glove, no love.
Aside from making sure that I have condoms, I have had some very interesting conversations about sex and sexuality with a partner. I'll even ask a partner "What do you like? What do you like to do?" If a partner that I am becoming intimate with can't discuss sex and/or safe sex with me, forget him. That's just the way it is.

People who live together before marriage tend to divorce.
People who don't live together before marriage tend to work harder to stay together and make the marriage work. They are more likely to stay married.

Thank you, Ravenstar!
There are ESPs (Earth Spirit Pagans) and those who believe in balance (Goddess/God).
Wiccans (ancient word for witch) got their start as healers. They used natural things to heal the sick. It was Christianity that called them evil and burned and tortured them.
As I've said before, I have studied many religious philosophies and chose the best parts of those philosophies for myself. I do not believe in a satan. The word "satan" comes from the ancient hebrew word "sahtahn" which actually means a snake or a lizard without feet.
For those who feel that paganism is just silly, spend some time in a Unitarian church.

I wouldn't buy another one. Where would I find another 30 year old hard top yellow-gold Les Paul anyway?
I know that the person who has the guitar does have a very real reason for not getting it back to me. He was in a very bad car accident and the muscle in his shoulder is completely messed up and he needs surgery.
I also have my brother's old, totally messed up electric Hohner. MAN, does that need major work!!!! And I have his old pedals. I also have his cds, which I'd never listen to. I hate Iron Maiden and I don't care for Fugazi or much of his stuff.
My brother's funeral is on October 11. He was buried in a Christian cemetary and my mother is having the body exhumed so he can be buried in a Jewish cemetary. That is why his funeral is just now. He had an IQ off the charts, but destroyed himself with years and years and years of drug use. I can't tell how many hospitals I've been to throughout New York each time he overdosed. Jimmy hated "the establishment" and did everything he knew how to prove that. He always said I was the only one who understood him.

Judaism will always be a big part of who I am. Christians say jews will go to hell because they do not believe that the messiah has come yet and because they do not believe in a tri-god.
I have studied many "pagan" religions from Wicca to Druidism to Tao and many others. I have taken the best of the many of religious philosophies and created my own way of living my life.
I know that the "christian" bible says "judge not or ye shall be judged...." Yet christians have murdered so many during the course of the past 2000 years.
I do not understand this. If Jesus came back today, would christians tell him he is going to hell because he is a jew?
The q'ran also says that it is okay to murder those who do not believe in the one true faith of Islam.
I am not judging. I know that not every christian would burn a witch or murder a jew. I also know that not every muslim murders others.
There must be hundreds of thousands of religions all over this great planet of ours. Why can't we understand that religion and faith is part of every culture and let others have the faith that they do.

Listen and watch Di Meola play, especially when he plays with other guitarists. Listen to him play with McLaughlin and de Lucia or when he played at Montreux with Coryell and Legrene.
If you can pick up a copy of the dvd of the performance at Montreux you can see that Coryell and DiMeola both drop their picks at various points. DiMeola taps....
Sometimes Clapton plays without a pick. Hear him on 24 nights.

I think I am open minded and my standards are a little flexible. Unfortunately, the majority of men that interest me live in Canada or somewhere on the other side of the US.
The women north of the border are lucky 'cause you have some of the hottest and most interesting men.

LED ZEPPELIN CONCERT!

Okay, I see your point, muneca~brava. I don't say they shouldn't play if they want, but I just think they will never be as great as they used to be again. When I saw them play together I thought Plant looked great, but Page looked terrible resting his guitar on his stomach. Plant just couldn't sing like he used to. Where was JPJ?
Yeah, sometimes I get addicted to vh1 Friday nights. I got all caught up watching Song Remains the Same. Then they showed the amazing 2 playing together more recently. What a difference between then and now!
I think that Page was an amazing musician back in the day. He really was a true innovator. He is still a great musician, but he looks like death warmed over and he just can't play like he did. I was shocked how beautiful Plant looks, but he can't sing like he used to.

I think you missed my point. I am not saying anything negative about Canada. I'm just saying that world wide media points to the negativity in the US. Canadian news talks about Canada. We have plenty of news about the US in the US. I was just commenting that when the world news comes to light they tend to find plenty of negative news about the states.
How often does world wide news go to Canada to find all the nastiness? That does not mean that there is no negativity in Canada, just like in Mexico and European countries.
Like another post, there are countries where fathers sell their daughters. But the world media doesn't talk much about that. They just find a way to find evil in my country.
If you would like me to say that horrible things happen in Canada, well I'm sure that are many evils in your country too. Are you satified now?
