Any Canuck fans out there???
Posted: 5/2/2007 7:51:35 PM
As i posted earlier in this thread, no powerplay, no wins, something like 5 for 49 or higher in the playoffs....crash the net, get the shots on goal, make it happen...if they lose this series, it WILL be the powerplay that will cost them...

young ones
Posted: 4/28/2007 6:45:53 AM
I view as many as i can, whatever age they are, its an option on this site, therefore i have the choice to use it or not. Since just getting out of banned camp for a month, i actually was entertained more by looking and reading profiles than i ever was in the forums. Age is irrelevant, well at least 18 years of age, and absolutely nothing wrong by looking...

Have you ever noticed that some people have all the bad things happen to them?
Posted: 4/26/2007 5:44:34 AM
It is my belief that whatever happens, either it be good or bad, is going to happen anyways whether we want it to or not. Easier said than done, but i am of the thought that we should not think too hard on it, only causes gray hair and wrinkles, not that i know anything about it.. I highly doubt, in my own opinion, that life does not single out a person for either bad or good happenings, its just the way it is. Get up in the morning and live life to the fullest is the best advice...

canucks win!!!
Posted: 4/24/2007 6:13:40 PM
Alot of variables here, first off, 8 members of the Ducks have 100 minutes in penalties, these dudes are a big chunk of meat, this could be an advantage to the nucks if they play THEIR game and force the play, ask dallas about penalties when our beloved canucks have the heat on. On the other hand, resulting in too many penalties, chances are obvious that scoring chances will happen, BUT, canucks have to strengthen their powerplay, if they can get it improved, this series goes 6 games with Vancouver going on. Canucks all the way this year, i wanna see Capt. Canuck Trevor Linden holding the hardware...woohoo, bring it on...

what kind of pets do you have?
Posted: 3/24/2007 10:37:29 AM
Anybody want a pet Rock?..or maybe want to pet a Rock?..

Anyhoo, when the Fairybrat and i were together, we adopted 2 small kittens, as mentioned, one was white, and i used to call it whitey, obvious right? Anyway, when i would get out of bed in the morning and head into the bathroom, it was a routine that the two fur balls would come in and greet me every morning. The only reason i why mention this, is my friend has this white cat, and yup, every morning while i was there, this other whitey would come into the bathroom and do the same damn thing as the first white cat. A coincidence?, maybe, but sure is bizarre...

Where should i go?
Posted: 3/24/2007 7:22:25 AM
I too know about the Dawson Creek area and its limitations for some, i suggest the sunshine coast region, if you google it you will see its splendor. Its a hell of alot better than the gumbo and freezing off one's petunia's in the winter time there, brrrr, just had a flashback of frostbite. We are only about 5 hours from Vancouver, and a 1hour and fifteen minute ferry ride to vancouver island, in fact we can see the island from here. The region is experiencing a major boom with no end in sight. Whatever you decide, good luck in your search...btw, miss the fishing in swan lake (Tupper) and splashing around in dugouts in summer...

Reading people's forum contributions........
Posted: 3/24/2007 7:05:40 AM
Been here on and off since summer of 2004, and have followed many posters contributions. There is a few that have maintained what they have in their profile, and certainly has been interesting and informative along the way. What i have found throughout the years, is that even though we always don't agree on certain perspectives, this has been a close knitted community. We have laughed our faces off, cried over others misfortune, have gotten turned on, and off, tried to free tweedle, and missed pin, vert, rus, and a few others, but all in all, this community is just one whole thought process, enjoyable as hell...

Changed it at least a gazillion times since 04. Me thinks what i have right now is about a week or so old so thats pretty much a record for me. I am not photogenic at all, least my mug shot, i'm considering showing off my man boobs (moobs..lol) maybe abit of a nipple and a butt shot to liven things up, that should scare a few fishies into the deep end...

Any Canuck fans out there???
Posted: 3/22/2007 5:25:58 AM
They kicked serious butt last night and they deserved the goose egg, little frantic action there at the end of the game though. They definitely need to get that powerplay happening though, come playoff time they will need that to pop one in on occassion. Their penalty killing is happening, send in the third or 4th line with linden and cooke, and the good thing about it, is that these two lines can bury it in the mesh too, get er' done boys, and damn proud of them...

Heading out to the bush, doesn't matter where, walking within nature's beauty and finding a fallen log and just sitting there for a long time taking everything in. Peaceful and contentment surroundings. Sitting by the ocean, watching and listening to the marine way of life, driving up the back roads and sightseeing, so many varied simple yet intoxicating wonders...

Life can be strenuous, best advice is to find the simplier things in life that will give you at least a smile or a warm thought, even if only lasts for a few moments, its all worth it. One of mine is to lay outside on a blanket in the summer at night and watch the stars. It costs nothing, spend as much time as you want doing it, then if you get tired of it, find something else that is simple that will give you enjoyment. Thoughts anyone?

Wandering posters...roaming the forums
Posted: 3/21/2007 6:22:17 AM
I post alot in both our beloved BCer forums and the globals, i know what BrnEyesLostMind is refering to about the mood and throwing in some nonsense to liven things up, the reason why i know what she and others are talking about it, is that we have come to know what this tight BC forum posters are all about it, either they are really good friends, have met in person, so on and so on. We here in the BC section welcome other posters to contribute to our section, we are always looking for fresh meat..lol.., but it irks me to no end when a stranger who does not know any of us personally, starts verbally attacking one of us and asumes by what nonsense we post that we are like that in real life, my advice to them, is give your head a freakin' shake. Especially one instance lately that a certain "hag" decides that one of my woman friends is a sleaze bag and goes on the offensive to "dis" her, either this hagmiester hasn't had any sex lately or does too many biotch pills, either way, its not called for. Looks like its time for the Rock to do a little stalking and follow this poster in the threads ....

When they go the liquor store and buy you a bottle of "fireball", get you drunk and take advantage of you, ooooooohhhhhhh ya baby, smokin' hot... ..or they don't make a fuss when you order the kid meal at rotten ronnie's and get to keep the toy inside...

Posted: 3/19/2007 6:30:06 AM
I posted on here awhile ago that i could stand it if i really cared about someone and be forgiving because of the deep feelings involved, but now, WTF was i thinking, never ever can i forgive, to those who are****hungry and the scumbags that did it with her, what did they think, that i was not going to be upset? These type of people are going to meet karma one day and they won't ever forget it. Done venting now, and realize i am way better off with cheaters, my life is absolutely great without that kind...

The advice given to another
Posted: 3/18/2007 2:18:51 PM
The problem is they don't know what they are getting into, the "adviser" is hopelessly lost themself, blind leading the blind per say. No, i'm washing my hands of the ordeal, a crash and burn will be happening for sure, others have suggested the "down and outer" heed the advice of "looking out", but to no avail. Nope, won't be there to pick up any pieces left over, a cruel but necessary act. I only mentioned the "cult" scenario as an example as it is close in theory to this subject matter, but in truth this would be tactic of the cults, terribly lost and confused...sad really...

The advice given to another
Posted: 3/18/2007 7:12:06 AM
If you knew someone that was down and out and saw that another was pushing their beliefs onto them and being accepted by the bewildered down and out, and you knew it was going to be harmfull and ill fated in the long run, would you say something to try and keep the hurtin' one safe of the ill advicement, or should you stay clear and let the person find out for themselves? May or may not be a friend, could be just an acquaintance or other you know of. This type of scenario reminds me too much of a "cult" theory, they seek out the lost and bewildered of the world. Any thoughts on this?...

Something I am pondering.....
Posted: 3/18/2007 6:19:40 AM
Happened to me sometime ago, man, did i get an earfull, and my question was to them, why didn't they tell me all of the nasty stuff beforehand?, cuz what they said turned out to be true. Their response was that they didn't want to interfere and thought that i would be hurt more than what i was at the time. I suppose it was good intentions on them so i have no need to be upset from this. On the other hand, i am a very inquisitive person, but there are things i would rather find out for myself, so sometimes it is better if noone says anything. I would perfer to have any questions answered truthfully by the ex even if it hurts....

How to undo the hurt
Posted: 3/16/2007 8:22:12 PM

How can you hurt someone who seems to be the best thing that has happened to you in a very long time?

Been there, almost the same situation..though i still think about things from time to time, i would say to you, that you should forgive yourself first, don't beat yourself up about it, try and get it out of your system the best way you can and don't dwell on it, easier said than done i know, but you will succeed in the end...

Lost in Your Eyes!
Posted: 3/16/2007 6:42:32 AM
It has been mentioned to me that when i look at someone my stare stays focused and this sometimes makes others a tad uncomfortable, but its not meant in a harmful way, unless someone peeves me off then i will bore my stare into making someone uncomfortable, like the kid who won't share his ice cream with me.. I do look into a person's soul through their peepers and from there i can deduct if they are who they say they are, my "spidey" sense takes over from there...

hmmm, well it would be good if there was some type of consistency, especially with those who change their "what i'm looking for" section, like me for example.. ..but seriously, to an outsider looking in at a potential partner, what would they think of one day dating, the next long term, hmmm, me thinks this would throw off any potential contact, who the hell needs someone around if they change their status too much!!!!!Yikes, more drama...

Friends in a Relationship
Posted: 3/15/2007 6:19:07 AM
For the people that lie and connive! And for the people that are dishonest and untrustworthy! The person that does this type of crap will tell you it's OK.

couldn't have said it better myself...happened way too many times to me, and the infamous line "just a friend" was just a slap to my face, but i guess its okay to sleep with me and sleep with your "just a friend", but its "okay" cuz they said so...and the "friends"(yes, more than one) are just as much to blame, knowing full well that they were intruding upon a relationship and causing the break up, any man of a decent character and have the testicle fortitude would have backed away and not got involved, sure tells the world about their character. How the hell would they like it if it was done to them?, think about that for awhile..and most of all its my fault for allowing it and not getting out of it sooner.......never again...
