i used to smoke between 40 and 60 fags aday ....it was pure fear that helped me give up .i had a stroke 2yrs ago ....i was very lucky girl and im almost better ....if you realey want to give up the fags visit a stroke unit in hospital ....im sure like me you will never smoke again ...big hugs ....joolsy x

i doint no if im lonely or not ....im happy being free and single i am happy with my life ....The last 2 yrs been a bit poorly in and out of hospitial etc..its them times when they say jools you got to have chemo for a little while and you have to be brave for the kids ..then i get bit eeeerm i think lonely ..but then i put on me joolsy smile and think hey ya daft moo .get over it your one lucky girl you have another change at life ....live it ....so only sometimes i do ....other times its a brill world woooohoooo ....big hugs joolsy

llynass ....im writing this with me eyes leaking ....please doint ever feel you are alone ....you my friend have lots and lots of living to do ....ill tell you a little story i went to court for my divource when i came out he bashed me over the head ....he walked free because my daughter scratched his face ....the bash on the head later caused me to have the stroke ......i had to go to court again llynass i had such strength i doint no where i got it ...i even stood up and spoke formyself ....no more was he going to hurt me or my children no more ....i no i waffle on hunny ...but what im trying to say deep down you will do it to i no you feel so so worn down brainwashed ,battered and so bloody scared of him ....i promise you you are going to WIN .......theres a wonderful life just round the corner and its in this life time angel .....i promise you .....hugs joolsy...... ps i also agree go and see your gp have a chat with him or her they was a great help 2 me

i so understand all the above ....but now i find it hard to trust people ...And i think ive become very hard ...i can spot the nasty people now ...before i trusted to much ,some times i get taken in then joolsy becomes the fighter i doint like myself then ...i call it survival mode ....sometimes ive found i do go back to be passive joolsy who is afraid ,timid scared mouse like .....then something kicks in and im the strong fighting lioness protecting her young ....oooooh errrr i do worry sometimes he he he is this normal

hi xinxspired i have stayed in a womens aid refuge ,my 2 daughters were then 3 and 7..we had to run for our lives to escape the monster who hurt us ....we was in a different town no family or friends ...that nite my poor girls wet there bed they were terrified ....i so wish xinxspired that i was one of the women you spoke of who was violent to there partner ....even now my girls have grown and im telling the story i can still see the look in there eyes i could kill for that does that make me bad person too ...he came and found us you no had to spend another 10 yrs with him ....its was when he tried to hurt my girls again that i got the courage to leave once more ....but hey you no what im so proud of my girls we have a lovely life now ....we doint hurt no more ....and you no what if i ever see that look in my girls eyes again i would kill 4 that ...my girls and i survived the worst we have a lovely future now ...big hugs joolsy

sweet thang...i doint think its just the men that feel this way ....us women too .After divource or a long term relation ship ...we get bk out there and date we have fun we are all searching for the one ...sometimes we are lucky and get to find that soulmate we are all searching for ...others find peace and happiness in our own skin ...maybe we are scared for our hearts to be broken again so our wall and guard is up ....i personaley am enjoying being me ...i am capable of loving and i do love my children and grandchildren and my friends with all my heart ...but its not my time to need at the moment i am happy being me ....i wont say never because you never ever no ...but when i find or meet my soul mate ill no that ill need and want and love him more than anything in this world ....at the moment my opinion i think we just got to need again ...hugs joolsy
