I'm in my mid-thirties and have never been married. Was engaged for 3 months, until he got cold feet & knocked up his previous girlfriend. I'd like to be married, if it's the right person. But I'm not willing to get married just for the sake of having a ring on my finger.

I don't consider myself blind, shallow, or stupid, but as a single gal with no children, and frankly, no desire at this time to be a parent, I'm not in the market for an 'Insta-family' (just add mommy). While I wouldn't completely discount a guy for being a parent, and find it commendable for a dad to raise his kid(s), if there were 2 guys, alike in many ways, but one had offspring and the other didn't, I'd probably go for the one without. Some days, I find my dog taxing, so I know I'm not ready to be a parent.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who notices the lack of punctuation. As the daughter of an English teacher, the lack of correct punctuation and capitalization gets under my skin, and not in a good way.
