Thanks all for the response to the old ugly sarchastic **stard I am. Fact is , I feel the exitment and enthusiasm also for this party and will attend if I can find a date. And no, I didn't misread, as we all read into what we want, to see or hear on this site. I know this is going to be great and those that miss it for any lame excuse, will be the ones to lose. love to go looked good up till the age discrimination thing not having tunes before the 60's I can sort of get by, but wearing identification to anounce ones age? ..... come on, is this thing that age oriented? yup. just the young and pretty here.... it's too bad for the ones handicaped by being old, and that = ugly but you won't hear me complain, cuz, I just won't thank you, cwc (hell, i'll probably go anyway, what's to lose?) can I bring my computer in case I can get a date on POF?

love hate , glad for you. You did'nt know this sight doesn't work that well that quick or you would not have found a winner. Your both winners because you played this thing the way it was intended. You did't know that did you? The both of you went out of your way to meet,,,, IN PERSON. Not weeks of e-mail and hour after hour of phone calls and IMing, but head on. Granted , IF, I said if, it doesn't go for a long term, at least you two will have given each other an honest try. This is being open minded, adventurous, and smart in not wasting time on this thing trying to find a better one, and a better one than that. I'v been at this for years and it shows. I getting bitter and should/will quit and go to the bar as much as I hate it. I see ladies , cute as hell, with a popularity score to rival miss america, yet they are still here, wasting other peoples time cuz this must be what they like to do............. Anyway mr lovehate, you have done the right thing,,, and the rest of us are green (as in john deere) with envy, make no mistake. The rest of us could make it happen, but we can't because WE WON'T!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations to you and your girl. thank you admin for the great advise. I'll get right on it. Fact is, this is evolution. This is where I have evolved to from the time I've been here. I have changed the profile a few times from a profile as suggested and fair pictures (what can one do with old and ugly?), to this, A comedy of errors, or is it errors of comedy. Now I get entertainment from this site through the forums. If this is how and where the cyber dating "GAME" is played, this is where I'll spend my weekend dates with the computer. cwc ......... and, yes, , this is about the best site for this stuff on the webb ........ I'm getting my moneys worth and you won't hear me complain.........

Nothing in my mail but spam. Nope, again today as most every day, nothing from PileO'Fish except read deleted or unread deleted. I have read statistically, that the ratio of men to women is five to one respectively. For every one hundred satisfied ladies leaves four hundred gents reading the deleted column of POF. But week after week, month after month, I see the same ladies, many of whom have done me a delete. So what I believe I am seeing here is a game being played by those specifically requesting no games allowed. The game has got to be musical chairs, the mating version. The lady is deluged with potential suitors, but instead of choosing one, she plays “Pop Goes the Weasel” while we dance around her mulberry bush as she takes the chairs away before the music stops. If, in fact, she does go out with a man, she is thinking ahead to another lined up the next day as she is finding as much fault possible with the date in the time it takes to down a cup of coffee, never getting to really know anyone at all. About., about., that is, almost everyone in this pile, lives in the animation world of fair maidens and handsome princes. That is, that we are that maiden or prince and the other is standing (or sitting) by the pond in the lost forest, next to the castle, on the other side of the flowery meadow that the yellow brick road leads that we are skipping along, and yes Toto is there to, only to find we should have taken the third star to the left and go straight on till morning (that is, those of us that go straight). Now where is this all leading? Nowhere! Exactly the place most of us have gone with this. The ladies by some confused choice. The men by unsurmountable overwhelming odds against them. What we enter into believing it will be a clear pond with plenty of fish ends up a dry mud hole, and a pile of fish. What has been promised from these dating sites can not become true just from the nature of them. I have been here almost a year. You'll never hear me complain! cwc

You can see when i joined, no real dates (coffee twice) The ladies work this like a line-up There is NO WAY!!! one can determine another person in a handshake and "hello how are you, what do you think of the weather" conversation. One encounter does NOT! do it. Each individual is too deep. And yet these people are doing it by reading a profile and a photo. BULL CRAP, it's impossible!!. mr. longshot, whether true or not, yours is a great story and stole the show (forum). But true or not aside, to make love concentually for any reason, any time, can, and mostly is, beautiful. As for one time only, I try to avoid. You see, i am greedy, and once with any girl I have ever had the good fortune to have sex with has never been enough,,, never. It has always been good enough to do it again and better. I have always without exception found the sex with any individual gets better and better yet. It's always something else in the relationship that goes to hell. One night stands? Nope! Don't think I like them.

I read this thing through, and I thought FL was just a high concentration of rude women, no they're all over and why not, five to fifteen new hits per day per woman, hell what do they care. Now try some more simple math in any given area, one hundred ladies will egual five hundred of us gents after them. Ideally the girls pair up with two boys each, that still leaves three hundred of us fine fellows holding our co(how do you spell?)ks . As I see it also, a large portion of these ladies are here just for the hell of it, playing games, just teasers, not intending to pair off with anyone, just seeing how high a score they can run up. The other thing is, these sorry dating things are for the young and beautiful, if you're not both of those, I said both, dig a hole and hold your breath untill you fall in it.
