This is the guy that gives us all a bad name, you did the right thing by leaving, but you should have made it clear to his boss why! Also a man or woman who cheats, be it on a wife or girlfriend or whatever is not capable of understanding what love is! Its about trust, careing & devotion. And you deserve better then what he had to offer. And so dose his wife & Kids.

Just about everyday I walk the lonely streets of Hawaii. I have been home now for about a month after being away for some 16 years, yea I know a long time to be away from family & friends but sometimes you gotta do what ya gotta do!. Anyway I've lost contact with all of the people I went to school with (all 3 of them) as well as everyone who ever beat me up, (that’s the good thing) Anyway my question is, I see beautiful woman everyday all shapes and sizes and they are all beautiful everyone one of them! I want to talk to them, you know say hi or something intelligent, but I don’t know what to say and trust me I always say the wrong thing! I don’t know why I just do. So ladies please, help a guy out what do you prefer a man (who in some circles could be a lost cause, but you don’t know that yet, that’s what dating is for). What for the love of god is it that we should Say! Because you look at me I see you looking, but you won’t say anything so help me out what should I say. I appreciate any help. And yea I know you’re probably saying my god this guy is 40 yrs old and still needs help approaching woman. Yea, I obviously still can’t get this relationship thing right I am on here aren't I! And also I am 40 something that’s 26 in man years. Thanks for the help, And guy's don't say anything stupid you’re in the same boat Or you wouldn’t be here either. Aloha

Hi Jennifer My Name is john, I don’t know if I can be of any help but I am going to give it a try. I early June of 1982, I was a U.S. Marine Sergeant Stationed at a Nuclear Submarine Base in Bremerton, Washington. I was 22 years old and in the best shape of my life, on that morning like many other mornings myself and 40 or so of my fellow Marines where participating in our morning routine of a 5 to 6 mile run, midway thru that run I began having some very bad pain in my lower stomach & groin area, I was a tough Marine and though nothing of it at first, And just ignored it and continued on as usual. Needless to say, it got much worst. I did see a doctor, and as it turns out I was diagnosed with testicular cancer, I was devastated! I had been married at the time for About 1 1/2 weeks and did not know how to tell my wife, I loved her very much and we had just began our lives together. I was more concerned about her at the time then myself, all I knew about cancer was that people did not survive and the treatment was difficult to say the least. So I decided to wait until I was sure I had cancer, and was seen by other doctors to confirm the diagnosis, and it was confirmed. I wanted to kill myself! I still don’t actually Know why I chose not to. Anyway I had no choice but to tell my wife. She left me the next day. I still hold no ill feelings about her leaving, it was a very difficult thing to deal with, and we were both very young at the time. I was dealing with allot of emotions during this period, my family being thousands of miles away here in Hawaii and my wife leaving, I did not have the mental strength to fight this fight However I was not ready to leave this life, although for many reasons it was not necessarily A good one for many reasons other then those I have shared. I endured several surgical procedures and months of therapy, the bottom line is I survived. Sure I have some residual Problems like the inability to have children and other less major problems but I survived. My point is you are still there and you love this man for all he is and all he will be, right now I assume he is scared, and needs you and your love, but this is not the end this is one of life’s many challenges just be there for him and get help with what you are feeling from a professional, just remind him from time to time that he can beat this and you are their to help Him and love him. Again I don't know if I helped in anyway and I wish you and your family the best. No matter how bad it may get don't give up. John

Sometimes (more often then not) we reolize just how much someone means to us, and what a relationship means to us when we are at the point of loosing it. although you had the "lets see other people" converstion before. men tend to (please understand I am speaking for myself, not other men) we become complacent in our relationships, and don't talk or express of feelings,desires & dreams, instead we (I) create reasons why we should be somwhere else when all we (I) really are feeling is confussed about what we are feeling. In short I think you should ask him these questions and tell him what you are feeling, you may be surprised but what he tells you, because when it comes right down to it the only person who can answer these questions for the both of you is him. My only reason for writing this is that I am that fool (yes fool-for no other reason that he could loose a woman who loves him) because he is unable to express what he feels because he dose not understand it. On the other hand I could be wrong, but I learned this the hard way by loosing a very good woman because I was too MAN to put it all out and take a real chance, we are not as strong as we like to believe we are, its because society and our peers preasure us to be brick walls of strenght, when in reality we want to be loved just like everyone else, so if you really love this guy let him know he can take down the walls, and you wont us it against him. That is taking a chance at love!
