full-time single dads

Hi, I'm a full time single Dad to my 11 year old daughter and have been for 5 years. Hard work especially at the start when her Mum and I split up when she moved out for someone else. I get fed up trying to fit in the cooking, cleaning and ironing around a full-time job - constantly tired. But, hey, I look back and think who got the best deal out of the split - no contest!!

Could not agree more. Its natural that when you are deeply involved with someone and it ends, for whatever reason, you keep thinking about that person. There will always be reminders, and they will come at the strangest times. In time they will be replaced with the thoughts of someone new, who will themselves probably still have thoughts of someone in their past. It's life, and it would be dull without the experiences that we meet along the way. Motto is to learn from the past and move on, life is too short not to. (Deep and meaningful I know, but it works!!)
