Posted: 11/21/2008 8:08:04 PM Update to the parent situation. I did ultimately lose my mom on October 14, 2008. Will always be forever grateful to have had the last few months with her. It was a combination of things, my mom's recent health issues, my children are grown and moved from home in the past year, and economic reasons. My parents need me right now, something I didn't quite know before I came here, was how much we need each other. She brings things in one door, and he takes them out the other. If we ever show up without them knowing, there is no where for anyone to sit.
