Alright. There's a new pic of me up now. It's a bit fuzzy as it's just a webcam image. I'll hopefully have better photos to add in coming weeks. Is the new one better than the old one? The old one is still viewable on the profile.

I made some minor changes this morning and will be adding more pics this weekend when I get them back (yeah, I still use old fashioned 35mm film.) What do y'all think thus far?

Sylvia gets a big one wrong

Charging reasonably for a real gift is not a bad thing. Those out there who fake it and use cold reading styles really give everyone with real gifts a bad name and reputation. I remember growing up my father's family (who are Gypsies) would always talk about those "other" gypsies (and they had a specific tribe in mind who our tribe never got along with apparently) would give phony readings and trick people into giving away all their money. I'm sure those "other" gypsies said the same things about us. However, there are people (gypsy and not) who are out there just to make a fast buck.
As far as charging, a person who is given the gift of being a talented painter or writer is not expected to give their art or books away, even when they are beneficial to others (think art therapy and self help books as examples.) Likewise, someone with real psychic gifts should not be expected to give their services away for free. We are to make use of the talents we have. However, there is a line of reasonability somewhere. There's a big difference between telephone "psychics" charging $4.99 a minute or more as opposed to those who honestly have a gift charging $60 for a reading (the going rate around here.) When I read Tarot I usually have a suggested donation of $20, but I will not charge someone who truly can't afford it and, likewise, if someone really feels they want to give me more than $20 for the reading then I have no problem with it....within reason.
Of course this is just my opinion.
Hi, Daniel;
Well, I am not a guy, but I'll offer any suggestions anyway! ;)
Do include more photos of yourself. A nice, warm smile speaks volumes and a close-up photo of your face, too! Perhaps some of you in favourite activities.
Your 'About Me', reads too simplistic. Go to the link on this thread and have a peek into 'how to write a good profile' See what tips you can pick-up there.
That same section has too many, 'I love' at the beginning of each sentence and therefore to me, reads like a children's book. Brush that up, too and make use of better 'joining' words.
I see you're a writer! That's marvelous! Perchance you'd explain further about what books you write about and why they interest you; what themes, etc., and any published etc?
Thank you. All very good suggestions. I will be uploading more pics of me when I get my newest ones developed this weekend (I'm also an ameteur photographer.)
You're right about the "I love" sentences. As a writer, that's something I should have noticed right off. BTW I do write children's books.
I will get to making some of those changes this afternoon. I appreciate the input. I look forward to input from others as well, both before and after I make some changes.

Self oral gratification!!!

I used to be able to do it when I was a teenager. I did it a lot. I can't say as to if it makes you gay because, well, I am gay. I guess it doesn't make you gay. I also don't see how it's too different than doing a 69 with another guy. Either way you're sucking a guy and being sucked by a guy, just if you do it yourself you're both guys. I've known straight guys who said they would like to do it to themselves though, so I guess there is a difference somehow.

So, since I'm a gay man it'd be easiest probably for gay or bi men to review my profile and give me constructive criticism, but anyone who has an honest suggestion on how to improve it would be appreciated. Not sure what else to say other than please don't be too mean hehe.

Erotic reading

I write gay erotica and I read it online. I've tried buying erotica books, but most have disappointed me. There's a few good ones online. I prefer to write my own as it turns me on the best to explore my own fantasies in the written word.

What is a witch?

I'm new to this board and to plenty of fish, but I wanted to throw in my 2 cents worth.
I mostly like the original definition of what a witch is on this thread, but it is limiting in a few ways. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who has brought up the fact that many who call themselves witches do indeed sacrifice animals. This isn't just limited to voodoo and hoodoo or Satanism. In fact, most Satanists I've known would never sacrifice an animal just because they see no need to. Sacrificing an animal is not necessarily evil or "dark." In the tradition in which I am a high priest over a small coven we do believe in animal sacrifice. Our rules for it are that the animal must be what you (the individual) would normally consider a food animal (one that you'd normally eat) and it must be eaten. We also believe that sacred use should be made of as much of the animal as you can; this can mean making a ritual garment from the leather, making a wand or ritual dust from the bones, or even making a protective garment or item for yourself or a loved one. It can even mean just using some of the decomposed remains to fertilize a garden or orchard (especially a garden dedicated to a deity, but a garden from which you get your food is fine too.)
Most witches do not believe in the Judeo-Christian "devil" or "Satan." Thus, we definitely do not worship nor serve him. Most witches I've known, including myself, have absolutely no problem with God, G-D, Yeshua (Jesus), your Holy Spirit, or anything else to do with your religion except for some of His/Their followers.

Dating and Starbucks ?
Posted:

I prefer local coffee shops and Java City coffee shops (because they don't chase out the local guys, they just sell coffee to them and let them use the name.) I met my last ex of 4 years at a Java City coffee shop. Also, the coffee at Starbucks is okay, but I've had better coffee cheaper at other places.

Introduce Yourself Here.

I'm Daniel. My friend Helen suggested Plentyoffish to me. It's an interesting place so far. I'm a gay guy. I'm not looking for Mr. Studly nor do I want a one-night-stand. I want a gentle but outspoken guy who likes romance and is looking for dating leading to a lifelong relationship.
I look forward to getting to know many people here of both genders as friends and hopefully eventually meeting a good man to fall in love with.
Daniel
