Men are usually much more overt than women. I have the hardest time figuring out when women are showing interest. I have had female friends hit me over the head and exclaim, "You idiot, that woman was basically waving a flag in front of your face.!"

It is the male version of "let's be friends", though he is a little more direct. Face it, males are visual creatures. It there is a physical block to attraction, the relationship will be incomplete in a woman's eyes, though men will have no problem keeping it alive.

This should probably be in the Sex forum. As the size you seem to mention is only about .1% of men (no matter how many claim otherwise) there would be a limited number of men to provide the advice you seek. Women would probably be a better source of information because some women have the same problem with even average sized men. But to answer your question. Woman on top is the best, as it lets them control the depth so it doesn't hurt. Yeah it gets boring with only one position, and other positions require care. (from either gender, depending on the position) But it beats a case of cervisitis (inflammation of the cervix)

I agree that some of the writings border on the incoherent and I get chastised for being a member of the "Grammar Police" I use the spell checker on google toolbar to make sure what I send is spelled correctly and reread before sending to ensure that it is intelligible.

It can be noticeable with guys, too. After getting my kilt yanked up by someone who thought I had shorts on underneath and got the shock of their lives when they found out I was telling the truth. I also had some women comment that it was obvious I was going commando because the tackle was swinging all around in loose fitting pants. I agree with Red that in the summer months, it should be a requirement of loose fitting clothes, especially in the tropics like South Florida where the heat and humidity are in a race to 100, and fresh air can cool the area and dry the sweat. I would also agree that some of the previous post responses were asinine to say the least. Can anybody explain the equestrian angle???? Is it because riding breeches are very tight and would show VPL's that could cut butter?

I am starting to go salt and pepper at the temples and a woman told me today that she thought I looked like Jean Reno. I didn't realize for a second who he was, but then remembered him in "the professional" Should I be flattered? I don't know what it is about French actors, but I don't generally find them good looking, e.g. Depardieu looks like he has a genetic disease that makes his head grow out of proportion to his body like an infant's. But tons of French women find him irresistable. I'll never understand the female psyche.

Improv Comedy theatre Posted: 3/27/2008 7:45:12 PM
I donated blood last week and besides a free t-shirt, I got two passes to the Improv comedy theatre, which was a surprise. The problem is they are only good for non-special event comics, which, based on the website, isn't very often because it seems that they are having special event headliners every weekend for a while. Has anybody ever been there on a non-headline night? I worked in a comedy club for years and know that the quality of the acts can vary widely in talent and would hate to waste it on an act I knew I would dislike from the get go. I should probably use it as a first date idea.

I have been told by a few female friends that lying in a profile is more common than it should be (namely height, age marital status) which seems stupid to say the least, because 1 the truth will come out at some point, and 2 when it does, the trust is probably gone, foreclosing any possibilites that the relationship will develop because it is built on a strong foundation. To the poster who made the comment about open undecided for children, I wouldn't dream of pressuring someone into having kids who didn't want them but at the same time, I would be open to someone who does.

I was under the impression that when somebody added you as a favorite, it was like a "poke" on facebook, simply a gentle reach out to show interest. Then if the favoritee also has interest, they would add the person as a favorite. It seems easier this way than clogging up somebody's email inbox with unwanted advances. But then again, I hate making first contact, which I guess is what women expect, because I have seen what I call "carpet bombing" where a man sends a canned first contact line to a ton of women to see which ones will respond, kind of like throwing a ton of stuff against a wall just so that some of it will stick.

I seem to be in the minority here, but I think VPL's or visible underwear is generally tacky all around. And evidently the jury is still out, but thong wearers seem to have a higher occurence of yeast infections, which evidently are a pain in the ass. (well, not exactly the ass, but close enough) So my take is that it should be dictated by the clothing that is worn on the outside. However, I don't really have an opinion because I find neckties and underwear to be useless items of clothing.

Though this subject has been posted to death. Here are my quick takes: 1. Generational. i.e. Almost non-existent in the 55+ crowd. 2. I would imagine men are a much higher percentage. Women are worried about discharge. 3. No idea. For me, I don't wear underwear or neckties unless absolutely necessary because I don't see their function. I haven't worn underwear since the mid-80's and have maybe 1 or 2 times a year when I buy clothes. And I wear a necktie when I wear a suit. Now that I live in South Florida, I can see why air circulation that isn't blocked by undergarments is beneficial. Humans are 10,000 years old. Underwear is less than 1,000. For the other 9,000 years, it didn't seem to be a problem.

I donated mine to locks of love three times, but probably can't anymore because it is starting to go white and kids with salt and pepper hair might get odd looks. The longest I donated was 22".
