Posted: 6/11/2007 10:28:35 AM |  OOOooops, Guess I Must be a Transplant...I catch myself doing the "z" sound a lot these days, normally I use the "c" sound (Boy C), actually I prefer the Old Name:
Les Bois [the "Woods"]...but what the Hey, I'm a 4th Gen too[like it really matters anymore, if you go back far enough you could say I'm a Transplant too ]
There's a lot of Words in the American Language that Get mis-pronounced everyday, but as long as the other person knows WHAT, or WHERE , or WHO I'm talking about is it that BIG of Deal? I wonder HOW they Enunciate BOISE in Oklahoma(Boise City)? Boise=BoyZee=BoyCee=BoySee=Even heard Folks from down South dropping the "y" completely Out, But the Way I see it, I KNOW WHERE I'm from and thats all that counts to me | | | |
