If you don't care for the fact that she could possibly be sending these out to every John, d!ck and Harry and could be around the block more times then a postal-worker during Christmas then go for it.

tell me girls is it shallow to not date someone because they have bad teeth?
Posted:
8/31/2007 4:47:44 PM
This is such a touchy issue. My fetish is TEETH. I absolutely LOVE teeth. I have a 4k $ smile and this obsession roots back to my father. If the person is all you are looking for other then the smile then go for it. I once dated a few guys with bad teeth. Although teeth says a lot about a person I was able to look past the minor flaw and glad I did.

Is my girlfriend snobbish?
Posted:
8/20/2007 4:02:05 PM
Snobby is the wrong choice of words, I was leaning more towards "spoiled". You're girlfriend is clearly suffering from a brain disorder. That behavior is unacceptable, but if she was honestly uncomfortable, she does as the consumer have the right to take it back, after all money is being spent. At least it wasn't anything disgusting, and she's out with YOU isn't she willing to sit through the unfortunate coffee grind in her espresso for you? .

What if your date told you that he/she was a convicted fellon...
Posted:

normally that isn't a great way to start a relationship. But being completely honest is better then it coming out much later down the road when you are already involved. I dated a guy that did time for drug charges, he was the sweetest guy and knew how to treat me. I still miss him.

anyone start dating someone after meeting at tim's or other coffee place?
Posted:
8/9/2007 10:58:17 AM
i hate going for coffee on first dates, its like your obligated to sit across the table from them and look at them in the eyes (which can be either scary or intimidating) I try to do stuff where both people can talk but don't have to stare at each other and "try" to have a good time.

I think thats a load of crap. If the person had a good time like you did then they will be glad that you contacted them, and vise versa. Who the heck wants to wait 36 hours to hear weather or not the date was a success.

OK, be straight with me here....
Posted:

First off I'd like to tell you that you are pretty cute and have so much potential,
we can already tell your a smart guy so why not work on the rest!!
I think you can improve on your posture. Stand straight with your feet shoulder width apart. NO SLOUCHING. Try to exhume confidence without showing****ness. Obviously you wear glasses, but you won't "put a foreign object in your eye". In all honesty if you want to try to find someone you have to put a little more effort in your appearance. Sad I know but clothing and accessories can say a lot about you. For instance, wearing a dress shirt buttoned up to your eyebrows shows that you are uptight, try loosening the first button and if you feel brave enough maybe the second. It will give off a "relaxed" look rather than an uptight one.
[When your at an interview, dress like your applying for your bosses job]. That speaks volumes. If you want people to take you seriously then you need to dress like you are serious. You have strong facial features. I'd suggest grabbing a celebrity-fashion-magazine and flipping through it to get an idea of wardrobe. You don't have to spend a fortune to look good. Sometimes even changing the style of your glasses to something more sleek can add volumes. Like a square frame instead of round. [ See URL http://www.eyebuydirect.com/images/EBD_catalogmen.jpg]

tanning salons,yes or no ?
Posted:
6/15/2007 10:13:44 PM
the rule is, if your starting to look like a horses saddle you better stop. Looking like leather isn't hot its crap. Tanning every other day until desired brownness is best. Health risks just like the sun; can cause leather looking skin, cancer. Those instances are commonly found in people who abuse tanning. Go easy. Too much of anything isn't good period. Happy tanning!

tanning salons,yes or no ?
Posted:
6/15/2007 9:47:37 PM
Tanning is a must for any woman all year round. Make sure you read up on how it works first. I'd go for a month unlimited rate. Buy the special lotions; they help you tan well. Don't use sunscreen (that won't work and will damage the bed) Always wear protective lenses. Stand up beds give the best tan. IF you use a laydown make sure to get underneath your arms. I hate tanners who lift up and have white pits. Disgusting. Wild on tanning, TanFX are two places I can think of. Good luck and happy tanning!

Paris Hilton out after only 3 days...??
Posted:
6/7/2007 11:24:27 AM
Paris Hilton had the option to go to a "pay" jail. Sometimes stars are allowed to do their time in a jail of their choosing. In such cases, they pay a daily room-and-board fee to the smaller jails, which afford them more privacy and comfort. But declined and wanted to "do it right" and go to county...
When she was sentenced May 4, Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer ruled that she would not be allowed any work release, furloughs or use of an alternative jail or electronic monitoring in lieu of jail.
Obviously not fair since her alternative jail is house arrest.

Intelligence in males = disadvantage?
Posted:
6/5/2007 11:12:17 PM
My opinion. More stupid people exist in this word then intellectual. Thus decreasing your chances of finding someone who remotely matches your intellect level. For me, I can't stand dumb people, or idiots. As a smart person I tend to over analyze which always screws me over. I'm picky. I know what I deserve. And what I deserve is someone with brains. Vicious cycle much?

why are jewish families against intermarriage?
Posted:
6/4/2007 3:37:11 PM
First off I'd like to say as a Jewish woman I know what these families are like. As in any culture you have your ethnocentric individuals who only believe that their religion is right and are not willing to even experience others. It's similar with greek orthodox people as well. As for jews its more like they start to question their sons intentions of having half jewish children . ie: Would they celebrate Christmas, would they go to synagogue. What would Moisha say who lives down the street.
You need to have a serious talk with this boy. Lay the cards on the table..Especially if he isn't Orthodox (uber religious) then this shouldn't really be a problem. Tell him to talk to his parents about it seriously, and take actions on your own if need be. My friend converted to judaism for her husband and lived jewishly ever after. Maybe take it upon yourself to contact his parents.
Goodluck! thats all I can say. Thankfully my parents tell me I can be with whom ever makes me happy regardless of religion. (Even though truthfully I know they'd like me to be with someone of our religion)

If he turned it around and was not understanding about this situation then you need to take another long look at your relationship. Stick up for yourself as you did. There is NOTHING wrong with you. It's a classic case of different strokes for different folks. He needs to recognize that you aren't some hoe that will put out at the drop of a hat. Maybe you need to put him out. For good.

Posted:
6/1/2007 12:01:22 PM
Looks matter. If personality can show confidence, out-going, socialism, then looks take a back seat. Most people prefer someone to show off and be proud of, its like getting a new car. You want other people to be like daaaaaaaaaaaamn. If you aren't good looking then compensate in other ways like personality, style, charm, Keep yourself clean looking...no uni brows please.

Just because you don't do drugs drink or smoke doesn't mean you can't have fun. I quit drinking, I've smoked pot but only on a few occasions and I quit smoking. I don't do anything "bad" if that even constitutes as being bad. Just be yourself. Any girl who doesn't realize what you think she's missing out on just isn't worth taking another look at.
