Dear POF I am tired of trying to find someone,it seems that no one is interested in big or fat people they want a Barbie doll or an hour glass figured person. They seem to forget that after many years of marriage an raising a family and hard work that school girl figure has long been gone from the person. I have a lot of love to offer,if I got out an ran around doing dirty things an not have any feelings for anyone except for myself an what I could get from a man I might just understand it but I'm not like that. I take my marriage vows very seriously. And another thing my picture was deleted an for why I do not know.So now after a lot of thought I am leaving for awhile.Good luck to all of you an God Bless each of you. Bigfatansassy.

Hello nyre I don't understand it either.I lost my husband of over 51 years 31 months ago an now I am looking for my last love. I met this guy on the internet an we talked for awhile an finely he came to see me an we had supper togather here at my home. And yes at first sight I fell in love with this man,so I let him know how I felt an he ran like a rabbit, so to speak.But I Love this man at first sight,but now he scared off.He is a divorcee,an I feel like he had a very bad experience.But the way I look at this is just because there is one bad apple in the barrel there is no reason or sign that the whole thing is rotten. Dear Steven I wish I was 30 years younger I would snap you up in heart beat.I am 68 an widowed.I was a teenage bride at 14 an lived with my husband till his death 51 an a half years later.Now I am looking for my last love for the rest of my life,an my dear you would fit the bill perfectly, just wish you were older.An yes I ask myself thaty same question what is so wrong with me that no one else wants me. There is nothing wrong with you personaly,like me you are trying to hard.as for the gifts or things you buy these women,thats all they are after is what they can get from you,After they get what they need an want from you then they are through an want nothing else to do with you.That is what I call users an takers.I have been down that road many times so I said enough is enough now that is what I'm a telling you to do.I would love an want you for you an you alone nothing more nothing less,if that makes any sence. But rest asured you will find some young lady that will fill your dreams to the hilts,then you will be richly Blessed so just hold your head up high an go for what you want in life.An as for the gifts you give the young lady let it be just a box of candy or a small bouquet Of flowers,then mabye dinner something small like that,.And again I wish I were younger you would be mine. I don't know how everyone else wants to be treated,but I want to be treated the way you would like to be treated.After all you are only human too.I am no beauty queen an I know it but average an the way God made me.As for my actions an everything else I am the way I made me,I am not ugly but certainly no beauty queen.But then Beauty is only skin deep. This is a true story an you can believe it or not but God knows its true. When my husband was alive an we both worked we both did things togather in and around the house.But when I quit work an stayed home he came home to a clean house an a family that loved him, he was handed his meals on a tray an him setting in his easy chair.If he needed a glass of water it was handed to him.His clothes was laided out for him he was walked to the car or truck with a kiss to keep him through the day an was welcomed home with hug an kiss that evening.We treated ecah other with respect, love an dignaty.And the greatest gift we gave each other was the family we had,the love we gave to one another an the look that we shared to tell the other how much we loved each one. We was poor in money but the richest ones in the world because we had each other.To me this is worth more than all the jewels an gold of the world.And wish I could find someone to help me finish out the remainder of my life in this order,someone to hold an to hole me. I can't believe my eyes as to the many divorces there is in this world,To answer your question its six of one an half dozen of the other.Women are just as bad as the men about having an affair.I have never seen the beat since here I have been.I for one take my marriage vows very seriously,for better or for worse.And why a mate wants to step outside his or her marriage vows is more than I can understand when they have the same thing at home,just only in a different package. You should be working to nurture what you have at home an keeing that well cutivated an clean an whole.I am a widow woman an I can say an tell the world its the number one ruin of married peoples lives.I wish I could change the things in this world but I can't.An I wish God hadn't taken my husband away but he needed him more than I.But when you marry an promise the world an God ALL MIGHTY that you will stay togather through thick an thin untill death do you part,from what I see in these dating sites are just words only,an the name marrriage only the truth of the matter does not really matter in the least.From where I set it looks like that when people gets their drawers wet good they are ready for a divorce.

Good evening nuttyjax No its not to much to ask, I am like you all I want is good company an companionship. Someone to love me an care for me an for who I really am.Yes there are a lot of good guys out there, but they to like some women have been treated very badly an they are afraid to try love again for fear of being hurt even more. I am a widow myself,an never been hurt like that but it still comes out the same way.We are alone an its no fun. They are afraid of being used as some women are an I understand all that, I was used to.Myself I don't want their money or possesions nor what they can buy for me,I just need an want a good loving careing gentleman.I am 68 years old but am not dead yet,I have a lot of love an respect for the right one. Hey Shaley I couldn't have said it better myself. I have met this guy that I really care for.He has taken my breath away,but it seems he don't give a tinkers damn about me. I first married very young at age 14 an lived with my husband till his death.we had over 51 years of marrige an now I am alone an I don't know anything about dating or getting out in the world to stretch my wings. we only had too movie date in nov,14 an 15 an married dec,5 of 1953, I know it sounds silly but I just don't know,an too I am wondering if anyone wants a 68 year old.I don't want just anything .

Dear Midgetgem55; I too am looking for my last love,my husband of over51 years passed away. God seemed to need him more so than I. Now after 29 months of mourning I am ready to find another companion.I married very young an its hard to be alone. But to answer your question,why are there so many men players?And I am not saying you are quilty of anything wrong,but don't you think thats because so many men have been cheated on by their wives while they were out making a living for the family, an yes some of the wives were at work as well.I worked long hard hours in a garment plant making men's an boys pants, an yes I've seen both married men an women eye balling each other an making passes which leads to enexcusable actions.It seems like they are looking for an excuse to divorce just because they are tire of the mate they are with,an who get hurt the worst, THE KIDS <<<<<<<.So my questions is why are there so many men an women that is divorced?Why can't they work the problem out since they promised to stay togather till death do us part? what has a man got any different from any other,that a wife can't be satisfied with and like wise the woman, with what she or he has at home.In my book if they loved their mate they wouldn't look else where, for the outside activities an tear up a home. bigfatansassy

Dear Author; I have read your letter an some of the replies,it makes me sick to see the people in this world getting married an promising to live togather till death do you part an having children an bring them into this world of trouble an aggravation along with all the everyday problems of living, at best but then one will wake up one morning an decide it does not love or care for the other partener,in which he or she has professed their undying love.But who gets hurt in the long run an suffers the most,not you nor your partener,its the innocent children you bring into this world.They wasn't asked to be borned but yet they are the ones hurt the most of having a broken home an split up parents to put forth a great example before them,an from what I can see in this mess of a world, the children is not considered in the matter but used as a pawn, which often times they end up in a foster home where they are mistreated even more because the parents has to much pride to stay with the original contract of a valid marrige that they stood before God an all the world to see an hear. I married at 14 an was told it would only last three months,well 51 years an 3 months later only God seperated us through death.And we have five children whom God has let us have,an yes there was talk of divorce on his part but because of the child things was worked out an so can you with your problems. And yes it burns me up when the children is the ones hurt through all this,I don't care whose child it is they didn't ask for the way their parents to act like fools. Bigfatansassy

Well as a woman I to find that offensive, asking how much money you make, in my oppinion its none of anyone's business. Asking aboout your job discription now that is another thing and that is fine an dandy no harm done. I for one don't care who knoow the kind of jobs or working skills I have an if anyone needs to know I have worked on the farm chopping cotton an picking cotton for a living or to help out some an raising our own food to store.I have worked in a garment plant making men's an boys pants for years to help support my family an worked in a cafe aan nursing home and now I am taking in ironing an mending clothes to help out. The question is what is wrong with this picture, not a thing its honest money.Its not begged for stolen nor being handed out by a free hand. Bigfatansassy P.S. Hi there I just got through reading a post by mopegunz, I know where you are coming from friends an family caan tear up a couple in no time if you are too weak to fight for what is yours.I know my family an his tried for years to break me an my husband up but they didn't get to far. Even throough infadelity an my sister running after him I still stood my ground an would not let him go.So with all that and a medling mother in law that was a witch from the sixteenth century ,it still maade me no differance he was mine an I was damn well gonna keep him.We lived togather for over 51 years until his death in 2005. Now mope I am saying go get your wife an tell the so called friends an family to stay the heck out of your life an to get one of their own.Get yoour life back an an have a happy one,you can do all iit takes is some backbone,. bigfatansassy

Sorry but I have much the same problem not to mention being a full fledged diebetic an on insulin.And according to my Kidney doctor I was to go on dyalasas 4 years ago,thank God so I have beaten it.Use egg noodles as your pasta eat plenty of green leafy vegtables. And when you do cook your meals you can always cook more when you cook an what you have left put it in a freezer container an freeze it untill you want it again then all you have to do is thaw it out an heat it up.You can spend one whole day an cook what you want to eat for a month an freeze. I have done this myself.REad you labels to see about the colesterol level. Good luck an God Bless.

Bread an Butter Pudding 3 cups whole milk 1 ,1/2 cups sugar 1/2 stick butter 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring 6 to 8 cooked biscuits (homemade) 2 eggs(beaten) At room temp,bring milk to boiling point add butter,flavoring an sugar.Remove from heat an add egg stirring freqently to keep from lumping then break biscuits up in small pieces an add to mixture stir well then put in oven an bake till lightly brown. Homemade biscuits 2 ,1/2 cups self rising flour 3 tablespoons shorting or oil 1 cup buttermilk (more or less) to wet the flour good dash of salt, mix togather roll out on floured sheet an pinch or cut out biscuits an bake when done add to liquid for the bread pudding. good luck
