Made in Michigan?
Posted: 6/21/2009 4:36:08 AM
Milk has Michigan roots Prairie Farms and can't recall the other brand. So many crops are produceds here soy beans and corn are a few. Others have mentioned wine and sugar, so add blueberries and mint. A wonderful post in my opinion(let's not forget the auto industry after all I work in that field lol)

When is taking a drunk girl home from a bar and having sex considered rape?
Posted: 5/18/2009 2:13:12 PM
This may of been better researched on the web. but,

Here are some definitions from the Michigan penal code

http://legislature.mi.gov/doc.aspx?mcl-750-520a

Look at lines (j), and (m) and decide for yourself. Also look into your own states penal code and see if they are similar.

I think there is a rule of thumb that states it's better to be safe than sorry!

What is wrong with the persons profile above you in this thread? (Michigan)
Posted: 5/16/2009 12:53:18 AM
No but I can tell you what is wrong with this thread. They forgot to lay down one rule...Only one posting per member, and to reiterate following the boy/girl format.

Because how do I critique some dudes profile? It looks a lot better than mine???

Oh and this thread is like 2 and a half years old which I find amusing.

Body Shapers, Pushup Bras, Tummy Tammers - Lying or looking good?
Posted: 5/11/2009 1:22:21 PM
Wow a jump from January to May, so how bout we go back to the begining.

ly⋅ing1   /ˈlaɪɪŋ/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [lahy-ing] Show IPA
–noun 1. the telling of lies; untruthfulness.

–adjective 2. telling or containing lies; deliberately untruthful; mendacious; false: a lying report.

lie1   /laɪ/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [lahy] Show IPA noun, verb, lied, ly⋅ing.
–noun 1. a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth; a falsehood.
2. something intended or serving to convey a false impression; imposture: His flashy car was a lie that deceived no one.
3. an inaccurate or false statement.
4. the charge or accusation of lying: He flung the lie back at his accusers.

verb (used without object) 5. to speak falsely or utter untruth knowingly, as with intent to deceive.
6. to express what is false; convey a false impression.

–verb (used with object) 7. to bring about or affect by lying (often used reflexively): to lie oneself out of a difficulty; accustomed to lying his way out of difficulties.

So from the noun of lie we find a "deliberate intent to deceive". So rest comfortly as long as it's not a deliberate intent to deceive then it shouldn't be considered a lie.

Does this settle the question?

Is someone who is interested in the Third Reich
Posted: 5/3/2009 4:49:04 AM
She prolly was thinking three steps ahead( this is an assumption on my part ). How whould this stuff look on her walls( after all she must of had some interest in you, she did agree to a date, after all ).

for the record it's Mein Kampf ( see only history buffs know this stuff ) so if her profile only says history as an interest. I think it best to do some digging before you bring her home!

Three Day Rule
Posted: 4/26/2009 12:49:43 PM
The odd thing was a gal I met talked about a 3 date rule. I think I've been out of touch for some time now! ( sorry I didn't mean to cross the line here, but when I seen the title...) What's up with the number 3???

Creating a new word?
Posted: 4/26/2009 12:38:57 PM
Forgot the first rule in language, use it in a sentance.

After two years of internet dating I've still yet to lose my Manonymity.

He asked for a date yet refuses to shed his Manonymity.

Yeah I can see the majority rules, it's a flop when it comes to usage! I may be too clever for my own good. Thanks to all for the feedback!!!

Creating a new word?
Posted: 4/20/2009 6:32:08 PM
Well here is my first attempt at a new thread. Lets see how this goes.

I've always wanted to create a new word, seems like everyone is doing it. Just look up the urban dictionary and see for yourself. So with the decidedly off remark from a woman I wrote here on POF I constructed a brand new word.

Manonymity- The inability to meet women face to face on internet dating/relationship sites.

Just like a few opinions from the ladies as they won't let me ask the men! Does this appeal or make a modest amount of sense? Can I post this as my own creation on urban dictionary.com?

ps... remember you heard it here first if you'd like to give me credit..(ha ha ha)

Love is like.....
Posted: 1/18/2008 9:26:24 PM
love is like homemade bread.

the yeast makes the bread rise, or grow (now now)
love makes relationships grow.
the gluten makes the bread stick together.
love makes people stick together, through thick and thin.
bread is warm and soft and smells so good.
love is warmth and softness and goodness.
bread takes time to make.
love takes time.
if done improperly the bread will fail.
love will fail if it is taken lightly abused. or dismissed.
more than one person can make bread.
love needs more than one person also!

did i miss any?

Orgasms
Posted: 12/27/2007 8:06:18 AM
have you ever read a forum that was so juicy so laden with topics before?
just from this page.
g-spot ... it's there it is not mythology. not meaning to offend anyone, but, its about the length of the index finger into the woman. curl the index finger like a "come here" motion. (pun "here kitty kitty kitty") described as a bump or mass at the top.(of the curl)
Faking....seems like a lot of truth about faking on here. if you know what you're looking for. agreed if its only vocal its faking. if you get spastic movments
insistent pushing away, erect nipples swelling of(ooops may not be able to say that here). then i can assure you have the real deal!!!

with that said ill have to start at the top of the post and read this one through. OMO

Can a man be too tall to date?
Posted: 11/25/2007 11:16:12 AM
everyone wants to be unique, sometimes it is often difficult to find that. so could be this is another form of finding that uniquenss? it was when i found someone to dance with that wasnt 5'4" that i found out the difference. at 5'10" she was very attractive to me. odd how i found at 6'2" she wasnt attracted to me. so now im back to dancing with the 5'4" variety. so i agree if you find mutual attraction then go with it.

Casual no strings attached sex, is it a good thing?
Posted: 11/23/2007 12:42:26 PM
No Strings Attached. as for the meaning we all need to agree on any word for its true meaning. seems ive read quite a few forums that ask for clearification.(sp?) so what do you want it to mean? some words sound friendly to our ears, so we use them. someone in the forums used the word lover instead of FWB. friends sounds nicer than a legal contract...NSA. hope thats my 10 cents worth enough.

Tactile

(definition) by Webster 1913 (print) Wed Dec 22 1999 at 325

Tac"tile (?), a. [L. tactilis, fr. tangere, tactum, to touch: cf. F. tactile.]

Of or pertaining to the organs, or the sense, of touch; perceiving, or perceptible, by the touch; capable of being touched; as, tactile corpuscles; tactile sensations.

"Tactile sweets." Beaumont. "Tactile qualities." Sir M. Hale.
Tactile sense Physiol., the sense of touch, or pressure sense. See Touch.

The delicacy of the tactile sense varies on different parts of the skin; it is geatest on the forehead, temples and back of the forearm. H. N. Martin.

now if i put my face between said breasts then id determin myself to be tactile. if i have my arm down fair maids blouse then im just a rogue!!! (please a bit of humor flame me if you must)

OK so now i have a POF question (actually 3)

1) how many times can you e-mail someone without getting a response back?

2) so now you've made contact info exchange(ph# chat etc) how many times do you call them without a single word returned?

3) now you Actually talked to a real living breathing animated POF. what do you tell them when they ask" How much do you make?" ? is it gross or net?

welcome to a man's world

ps please excuse my typonese

Feeling silly here first post and all not sure how it's done. That said I've lived in St. Clair County for a fair bit. Started out as a poor country boy way up in Sanilac County.
So now Ft. Gratiot is where I call home. Hope to see some of the fishes at the dance on the 19th.
