You'd love the new album dude, it's got the standard death/thrashy parts but then it also has the slower, doomier parts. In my top ten albums of 2009 right now for sure.

Anyone else heard this yet? This album is seriously a LOT better than the new Pestilence, which I thought sounded pretty weak overall. Martin's vocals are still spot-on, and the music follows suit. Especially on the opening track, "Scrobutics". Really good stuff.

Anyone else excited for this? It supposedly comes out in early April or so. I've heard the track "Hammer of Doom", and it's awesome. Hopefully it's as good (if not better) than King of the Grey Islands, which also ruled.

Lamb of God is one of like 3 or 4 good metal bands that have come from north america...everything else is crap.
Not even close. There are a TON of bands from North America that rule. You have to actually LOOK.

Listening to thier new one now, very good indeed. Although I haven't heard much of their other stuff to make a comparison. They're a black/thrash band from Texas, highly worth checking out even if you don't like black metal.

New Autopsy
Posted:
2/1/2009 7:13:35 AM
For the first time in nearly 15 years, 2 vile new Autopsy tracks were recorded in September 2008, bringing together Chris Reifert, Danny Coralles, and Eric Cutler for another slice of death & decay.
These tracks make up a special, extremely limited (only 1,000) 7” vinyl release, titled ‘Horrific Obsession’, to be available exclusively from www.peaceville.com on 26th January 2009, with pre-orders being taken from December.
Anybody else heard it?

Any Abscess fans out there? They're a band formed from members of Autopsy, that basically plays a kind of combination of death metal and hardcore punk. Actually some of their material sounds like it could be off of the last two Autopsy albums. Really good stuff.

Man, I have been listening to this album for days. One of Anthrax's best, IMO, after Spreading the Disease and Among the Living. Belladonna's vocals rule and the choruses are catchy as hell. Anyone agree?

Lately I've been really into Overkill and Ace of Spades. Ace of Spades has so many awesome songs it's insane. And Overkill has some of the greatest Motorhead songs, including "(I Won't) Pay Your Price,", "Metropolis", and "No Class".

Hammered is such an awesome album. "Red Raw" is one of the most brutal songs I've heard by them. "Dr. Love" is awesome as well. Hell, the whole disc reeks of awesome. But then I've never heard a bad Motorhead album.

Has anyone else heard the new 3 songs? As usual, Lemmy and the boys bring nothing but quality. This is definitely one of my most anticipated albums of the year. If it's as good as Kiss of Death we're in for a hell of a Motorhead album.

I seriously am loving this band. I haven't heard too much of their earlier material, but I've been listening to their newer, more poppier stuff (Silver, Lifeline, Conqueror), and I love it. Their newest release, Lifeline, while not being as great as S ilver was, is seriously outstanding. The first two tracks are full of win.
