You can be athletic and still have a few extra pounds I totally agree. I personally prefer a stockier-type build on a guy anyway, but that's just me. What's wrong with people having many favorites? Some might have a great personality. I get CRAP about this all of the time. The way I see it, if people want to add me, they can... I'm not going to stop or delete them. It doesn't necessarily mean I have to add them as well. Also, at times I've added someone whose profile I happened to read that really caught my attention, but I just didn't have time at that particular moment to send them a message. By saving them as a favorite, I was able to find them again once I finally had a chance to take my time and send them a nice initial message.

It gets on my nerves when people just type random letters to meet the character requirement for posting a profile. I've seen more than my fair share of: fjdlkfdfjdkfdfjldfjdfjdkldkfjkdlfjdlfjdkfjdksfjldflkdfdfjldfjkldfjdjfdsjfslfk At the very least, type one or two coherent sentences and be done with it... LOL

I think a part of you dies and a part of you stays scarred which is just natures way to remind you of the injury, as if to ask you if you learned anything. I couldn't have said it better myself. I still possess a hollow place (and buried pain) in my heart from the love I lost, but I have hope I will feel the positive effects of love again, more than likely when I least expect it.

Currently unable to delete/add new images. I don't receive any type of error message; instead, the screen just reverts back to the image upload page each time, but nothing happens.

No, thank YOU, Boo... for thinking of and organizing this event from the very beginning. This was all of your hard work, with input from Joe and myself. I'm looking forward to this event. Boo, I know this is your last day on this site as you have found your "fish"! Though I'm sad to see you go, I am so happy for you! You deserve it! (See? POF does work!!) I am also looking forward to meeting the woman who has managed to steal your heart! She must be a truly special woman! Funkuntry, you are killing me! I can't wait to hear all this talk in person! And the only "trading" going on will be my empty drink glass back to the bartender for a refill! Glad to hear you're getting all spiffied up! Sounds as if you're ready to dance the night away! G-String, this particular get-together is to see Clint Black in concert. The 26th is COTB. Too bad you can't don the chippendales suit. Maybe next time though! I'm all for it! I'm really looking forward to seeing and meeting everyone - - FINALLY!

LOL... the UPS man.... LOL... girl, you are too crazy!! As far as the places in our area, ha! There is NOTHING around here as you well know! I moved here a few years ago when I was involved with someone, but that has since ended. Like you, I'm ready to get out and have some FUN! More importantly, meet and make some new friends. All of the people I've met since moving here are married! Kinda hard to have a social life with them when they can't even leave the house! Hmmmmmmmmm....wonder if the UPS man has a single brother? I was just trying to find other places for non-POF get-together nights. Since I don't live in Raleigh, I have no clue of the places she may have been referring to. The "freebies" sound good to hit after I blow all my $$ at the POF get-togethers. In my opinion, you and Soul Seductive have done an excellent job at initiating these get-togethers! Better you than me since I wouldn't have a clue where to begin! Kudos to you guys!

Geez.... so now I'm your second choice? j/k!! Well seeing as how I know who you really are, if you don't mind, go ahead and buy my ticket. I'll pay you back - - it's only $10, right? Commission fee will be the standard 10%... I can handle that.... Question - I haven't been to the LB in YEARS..... Will I be able to keep tabs on the baseball playoffs while I'm there? Is all that on the Sports Bar side where we'll be?

FunKuntry, I think she will be busy filming another Lifetime (Television for Women) movie that night.... For those of you (like myself) who haven't had an opportunity to purchase a ticket yet - I just wanted to let you know there ARE some still available. (I called this evening and was told that. They told me to call back tomorrow during the day to actually purchase it, though.) I would encourage anyone else who hasn't purchased their tix, to do the same! Looking forward to meeting everyone!
