Guess my math was a bit off, but it still looks like if you want some dates, the pay sites are a better way to go because of less games. I have had a date on here or two, but most women on here like writing more than meeting. Although women say that it is harder, it is for differnet reasons. Men stick their necks out and if they are attractive or interesting enough, the women give them the privilege of writing back. Women are most likely inundated by letters, and a lot are probably looking for booty, so they weed through more carefully. Best advise for women is to actually write the guys back . Then keep the conversation going.

This is funny. For a good time you can use somespamsite or craigslist. Just not sure how much they charge. I am sure some women in Europe are easy and some not. Depends a lot on the country too. I think I saw a stat saying Norway is the place to go for that one night stand, but how fulfilling would that be anyways.

This is not a love thread. Just semi new to Denver and wondering what the best Burgers and Cheesesteaks are at. So far... My fave burger is Smashburger!! They are unbelieveable. Greasy though. My fave cheesesteak is taste of Philly, but it can't compare with Trivelli's in Colo. Springs. So who is up for some fun conversation on food?

Funny that it is a two way street. Most of my friends are women, and they show me that grotesque stuff. I would never do that on camera, unless it was private and for a girlfriend. The problems guys have is that 95% of the mails we get are from some "chick" (could be a guy or gal in real life) asking you to see their "private pics" on this or that paysite. The lesson is just to watch for online predators, and report them as spam or prohibited.

Learning through experience my friends. My last girlfriend 7 months back used me to get a very expensive place. She never payed a bill and kept bringing over random guys for sex (she had a separate room. We had only been broken up for a little while, but she lied to me and used me. I told her to move in with that****ead, closed off all contact. Now she still emails me because I don't contact her. The moral is that I am stronger alone than with her, and it took that realization to make me happier than I was with her. So you have to go through hard times before you learn. Just take things real slow, and you will be much better off.

To the question posed: Craigslist is filled with mainly guys trying to get laid or "women" advertising date sites or selling themselves off. There are some genuine people on there, but not many. So, my latest experiment was writing ten women a day for 2 days and actually writing them, no forms. Only 1 responded. I have read most of the comments and except for a few salty ones, they made sense. I know I just delete them, and there goes 95% of my mails from there. also realize that the women and guys on here are slightly older, so have been around the block and know what to look for. My killing time at work experiment ( I know, but I'm on lunch) was sent to 22-36 yr old women with pictures. Fun to try yourselves, and see what you get. My women friends did what I told them, and they keep getting pictures of $#%@s, but one got a date. So law of percentages? Thanks for responding, keep em coming

See this is interesting to me. I can tell a lot of you women don't us e craigslist or know what it is like being a guy on there. Basically 95% of the messages you get back say "well you can check me out here. So almost all the women are saying they are easy to spot and a waste of time, which is true to me. And I do send personalized messages all the time...just not on craigslist. And the guys recognize it is a valid strategy, but usually doesn't work. Which is also true. And the dates I have had from there were....not great, but decent. A lot of fake pics. Thank you all for your comments. I was just curious and liked your opinions. Geoff

Hi, I am a decent looking guy, but not any millionaire or model. When I use Craigslist, I usually use a mass email based on the 1/20th rule (1 in 20 women will actually try to contact you. Now I know this is bnot the perfect way, but even on a site where you can't use them, like this plenty of fish, there is still a 1/20 rule. So it saves me a lot of time, and can be done in 5 minutes rather than an hour and a half. Pretty much the same results. Is this a smart way to go about this or not? I want to hear from men and women, since as much as people **** about them, almost everyone uses them at some point. And I feel if women even tried to write more often, it would be worth writing individually, but women seem to get hundreds a day. So what chu all think?
