I can't remember many toys apart from my beloved Tiny Tears and fuzzy felt, think we were "playing out" or just off out all day on our bikes.
But i LOVED to read, especially Blyton, you couldn't beat it, Secret Seven, Famous Five, The Mystery Gang with Fatty, Malory Towers, St Clares..... Awwww fab

Bod was definitely cool, it was the way they all walked with their legs swinging out to the side.
Can anybody remember the name of the tortoise on Pipkins pls??
and I can't believe no one has mentioned Topcat which was the best cartoon
