How do you tell someone they're not attractive without offending?

You can't. You politely said the attraction wasn't there, she pushed for a more elaborate answer, so you have the right to be blunt at that point.
I had an issue like that once. This guy insisted Indonesia was in the Middle East and we got into an argument about it. He later looked it up and apologized, claiming he thought I said "India, because that's in the Middle East". I said we wouldn't work out, he kept pushing me and asking why, why, why so I finally said he was an idiot. In more ways than one.
Since you claim she knew why but just wanted you to say it, means she already has a complex there and possibly wants proof so she can feel sorry for herself or something.

Racism in Dating
Posted:

I personally would never date certain races. To me, it's because I'm not attracted to them physically and also family issues.
I've dated a different religion before and that was more than enough trouble for me trying to get my family to like them, only to find out years later he cheated on me.
I just don't have the energy anymore to go through all that hassle.
And I'm not physically attracted to those races. I have lots of friends that are those, but I wouldn't be intimate with them.
On the racist side, I notice racism alot more in USA but I also live in "redneck" province and I have a mix black friend who is absolutely gorgeous. She's a stripper and has been told to "get her black ass off the stage" and that she's a "disgusting N@*#*#". I personally think she's absolutely beautiful.
It takes all kinds, I suppose.

No Sex on the First Date-Dealbreaker?
Posted:

I don't know if this topic has been raised before or what, but I'm starting to see a trend here.
I dated a guy from here off and on for about a year and it was great, he took things very slow and respected me completely.
After we went our separate ways, I've been on quite a few dates in the past few months, both from here and from outside, from getting set up, etc.
Now I've noticed a big trend. I think kissing is a big deal for me, so if i'm not fully comfortable with the guy, im not gonna let him stick his tongue down my throat on the first date. So, about 80% of the guys that don't get any action from me on the first date, of what seems like a really great date to me, don't call me back. No wait, I'm wrong. Some call me back for a second date, and once they realize they're still not gonna get any then, don't contact me anymore afterwards.
So many guys I speak to say they respect a girl more if they don't put out on the first date, yet 80% of the guys I've met don't call me if I didn't put out initially.
I make it VERY clear in both my POF profile and when meeting a guy from outside that I don't have sex with a guy in the beginning and they STILL try!!!
WTF IS UP WITH THAT?!?!?! I don't get it.

18 year old girl marries a 40 year old man?

look at catherine zeta-jones and her hubby? she's hot and he's...well..not...but they're both uber rich and happy. she was smart. older men bring security emotionally and possibly financially.
Personally I wouldn't do it. I have a close-minded family. And I like to do active and sometimes stupid silly things for fun which an older man may find, immature.

Canadian Girls....Is it just me...
Posted:

generally i think the reason COULD be that canada isn't as overpopulated as USA an we get to enjoy nature and thus, are more physically active. in vancouver we have the ocean and the mountains, n lest we not forget the gruelling yet fun West Coast Trail.
We are more multicultural here and therefore more accepting and for some reason we are always willing to help a fellow Canadian or, tourist. Having been to the states, i noticed we r more likely to smile etc.
i could be making a wild guess here but life in canada is more relaxing (?) which explains why we are more down to earth an not with the mentality "eat or be eaten".

kissing is awesome.. just pull away when the hands start roaming.
it sux when they have bad breath though.
Advice: after you eat, your breath probably smells so always a good idea to bring gum or breath mints. oh and guys, it's not embarassing if you ask us for some cos girls usually have gum or candy

medical/health field

i'm going into the healthcare profession and thinking about it. would i rather spend the next 10 years kissing face to textbooks, sucking up to professors and doing as much volunteer work as I can before being on call 24/7 getting harassed by seniors who think interns are worthless or should I choose a less demanding one, find my dreamguy (or close to it), get married and have kids?
By the time I'm 40 I could be a successful surgeon with no life or a pharmacist with a family.
Still haven't decided.
It doesn't help the profession is so in need and yet so hard to get into. the gov keeps cutting down spots and even a person with a 4.3 GPA can't get into med school!!
Ok so this is canada, not sure bout the USA or otherwise, but yeah.
p.s. we don't live in igloos

Set ups

i would because i have frenz who have TOTALLY different taste then me. For example, a guy who is a total trucker with a goatee and is laid back and casual would be fine for my friend, but facial hair turns me off and i go for the more cleaned up look.
different folks, different strokes, but hey, if everyone had the same taste we would all be fighting for the same people now wouldnt we?
