I know someone.. TOTALLY not me..
Who made two profiles very similar.. one with photos and one without.
WoW what a diference...
just saying..
Oh, and in the picture I put up.. no smile.. Then I changed the picture to a smiling photo.. I received a Totally diferent response from the smiling picture then I received in the unsmiling, more serious picture taken at the same time.
kinda crazy..
But we are visual creatures I guess.

Kinda funny... doing the usual... checking emails, and people who peek, when the location of a peeker brought back a flood of memories.... here is my response.. any0ne else have one of these moments? curious minds want to know...
Message:
buzzed here at the moment... not a drunk.. well not too bad, lol... just out with some buddies and saw that you had peeked when I returned to call it an evening.... Your location reminded me of something that happened to me as a kid..
STORY>>>
Long ago... when I was a wee lad in the 5th grade... I had a MEAN teacher, one day she failed to see the humor of my humor... if you know what I mean and sent a note home telling of her lack of humor appreciation to my parents....
(NOTE: High school, Voted Class Clown... go figure)
This was on a friday... so I had all weekend... as the note hid under my bed.. to fret and worry about aforementioned NOTE. :(
Well Come monday I road the bus to school and got off... with unsigned note still under my bed... And when the school bell rang I left on a sojourn... and odessy that was supposed to end up in florida or somewhere...
My town? Hendersonville NC...
So, as I walked all day I felt liberated and free... also due to the fact I had the weeks lunch money in my pocket I felt rich..
Stopping at a small country store I bought a sandwich and a drink then continued my journey...
To make a long story short... (too late) it turned dark finally.. And as I walked on an old country road I came across a dead snake... a dead snake in the dark.. is a scarey thing when you are in the 5th grade... especially when you didn't know it was dead at first...
So.. about 30 seconds after this fright... a light appeared on the side of the road...
It was a preacher turning on the light to his bible study... I ran to the door and knocked... the place?
Travelers Rest South Carolina... 20 plus miles from where I had started the morning... He called my parents.. whom the school had called after they found my books on the front steps, 5 minutes after the first bell had rang...
And the rest is history... they came and got me...(after being missing all day they were soo thankful that I was found that I didn't get the beating I was expecting... got hugs instead.
Why this story? Because I caught you peeking.. and you are from Travelers Rest SC.. a place that I will Never Forget.. lol
and Just wanted to say hello..
Probably scared you off... but hey, that's ok... got to remenise a bit...
(say hello if you would like.. if not, well that's cool too.)
Mike...

How many dates are people actually going on from this site?

dates from this site? Actually been a few good and bad :) .... and have made several 'long distance' friends also... I enjoy the back and forth flirting as much as the dating... Work a ton, have a daughter in college and a son in HS so it's not like I actually am free to do what I want... Am always up front about my status in life... But there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Would advise any to stay here... After all that one date you might miss could just be the one... I try to respond to every email, I know how it feels not to get a response, but sometimes work does stop me from returning the messages... still.. I try to. will hush now as I start going off tangent.. not a regular here at the forums... yet.
